I live in Manhattan but could not afford the Manhattan prices. The blessing of this Driving School first came with the affordable rental and driving lesson. I paid less for the rental and driving lesson than what I would have paid for in Manhattan for the car rental alone. 2nd Blessing: I thought I knew it all and if it wasn't for Mr. Lane's wise words I probably would have failed. We get very comfortable thinking our friend's can teach us everything we need to know to pass but trust me it isn't the same. You need someone who does this for a living. Obtaining your license is a very monumental part of life and you should do it with someone that is not only knowledgeable but also with someone that makes you feel comfortable. As soon as I passed my test I jumped out of the car and gave him a huge hug. I was so happy I forgot to unbuckle my seat belt and almost snapped my neck in half. He saved me from wasting more money. He saved me from wasting more time. He saved me from the dreaded bus and trains we all hate. But most importantly he is a direct reason why I am going to have more opportunities to expand my horizons and push the limits of my potential to the next level. I passed and he even called me by video to advise so! Riveras is reasonably priced and works with people allowing payment plans if you cannot pay in full at start. The instructor (owner) is very polite, and provides great instruction, making you comfortable to receive the information properly. He broke the contract, and can't be trusted. I would not recommend anyone to deal with this school located on 233rd in White Plains Rd. He is also very rude.
