i had a small chip that was fixed so i thought so. when they show you what it should look like fixed well mine didn't look like that. But they said it was fine .Now i looked 2 days ago and the whole window is cracked from the same spot they supposedly fixed. so now i have to pay for a new windshield. of course they don't guarantee there work so i am screwed. read more

1/11/26 Sunday morning, approximately 11:30am - checked for next available appointment which was next day at 9am. During the booking process on Safelite's website I was offered the option to pay with AfterPay for 0% interest. I did not NEED it strictly speaking but figured why not spread the financial burden out a bit since this was unexpected. I tried with one credit card but there was an error and all my information was cleared from the AfterPay window that was open in the Safelite website. I tried a second card but the same thing happened. At that point I went ahead and booked the appointment with the option to pay at the location. When I went into my email later on Sunday 1/11/26 I realized the payment had gone through in AfterPay. I looked for phone numbers to contact either company but none were readily available on either contact page and the chat functions were only available on weekdays. I decided to write the Safelite order # and AfterPay confirmation # down, figuring they could help me get in touch with someone in corporate. 1/12/26 Monday - I arrived for my appointment at 9am and when I walked in the Safelite representative seemed very inconvenienced that I was there. He asked what I needed, I explained I had an appointment, he went and found my paper and read the total to me. I attempted to explain what happened with the Safelite website but he kept blaming AfterPay, saying there was nothing they could do. I told him I just needed a phone number to get in touch with a human being at Safelite to sort it out, after all I have the order and confirmation numbers, there should be a human being on planet Earth working for Safelite who can help put these things together in the Safelite computer system so I don't have to both pay full price and installments on my windshield. The representative continued to seem very inconvenienced but rudely gave me a number which he spat out quickly and I was barely able to understand. When I asked him to repeat it he deliberately only repeated part of it instead of repeating the entire number slowly so I could understand him. leading to further confusion and tension. When I called 1-800-800-2727 the automated system sensed my appointment and would not give me an option for a human being representative. The automated system said it would get me an agent but then just read a recorded message and hung up. I asked the representative if he had any other number for Safelite or even AfterPay, he said no. I told him I would be cancelling the appointment and reporting this transaction as fraud then because it was very weird that there is no human being representative working at Safelite that I can speak to. Is it only robots? Is it the first company run by an AI CEO? The technician came and gave me my keys and I attempted to explain the situation to him. He told me that AfterPay often takes up to 48 hours to apply to the customer's transaction and insisted multiple times that there is no human being representative that a customer is allowed to speak to at Safelite. He insisted that he cannot even contact a human being at Safelite. The only way for him to talk to human beings at Safelite is if they initiate contact with him - he has no contact info for any living soul at Safelite. I tried to impress upon him that it really isn't fair of Safelite to allow next day appointments to be paid with AfterPay if the customer is just going to be told they have to come back a different day. But at that point I really felt threatened by these men, like they were the type of people who would harm me and then call me a B word who "made them do it" so I really needed to get out of there. As I was leaving, partly out the door, I commented that this was no way to do business and the technician yelled after me how it isn't his fault - very professional, not to mention super masculine, I really respect a man who needs to get the last word while towering over and talking over a 5 foot 1 inch woman. I went to a competitor 5 minutes away and the representative told me they get multiple calls mistaking them for Safelite every day and the people are always upset. You've definitely lost me as a customer, not only at this misogynistic location, but from your company as a whole. And I will campaign every time I see a windshield in need of any repair/replacement for people NOT to use Safelite while this location is open. read more

Dont count on Safelite keeping your appt , they will reschedule you for 2 weeks away from the appt you make online- 3 weeks from day you make the appt. Then you can't speak to ANYONE until you chat w 2 diff CSR & ONLY after you tell them to cancel the appt will they offer a phone number that a person will answer. Call a local shop & skip the franchise scam. read more

The assistant manager Tiffany should probably get a raise I was upset when I called and she did her job and then some. Very qualified for her position was knowledgeable about the problem I had and provided a better solution for me 20/10 If you're planning on calling the absecon she's the person you want to talk to. read more

Safelite "repaired" my glass, which had originally just been a small chip, and ultimately broke my windshield. They then told me they would refund my insurance under their national warranty, would charge me for the replacement, and come out again to replace the windshield. They then came out again... and this time, drove off with my car keys leaving me unable to access my car for hours. And to top it off, they never refunded my insurance so now it's showing up on my claims history. My windshield was smashed while I was driving from some thugs on the side of the road. Safelite got me an appointment a day after my incident and did a great job replacing my windshield. The job took them about two and a half hours and the kind & personable staff were quick to recommend me a great place for breakfast! Everyone here is super kind & professional! I took a day from work to stay home and get my windshield replaced...then an hour before my appointment the Safelite mobile repair tech called and cancelled because he had a cold. I called headquarters to request another technician and I was told the entire shop has colds and there are no other technicians available. Safelite's loss. I tried a local competitor on Rt9 in Pleasantville instead. They were just as fast and actually cost $150 less than Safelite. Buyer beware... read more

they fixed my back windshield which is cool and all. but they put the glass in uneven and didnt adhere some parts back properly. the back window is noticeably askew and there is glass rattling around inside my back hatch. i would tell you to go somewhere else. read more

I went to get my windshield fix and the first time I know we messed up with information of the vehicle so they told us to come bacK because the piece wasn't there yet so then we go back and they tell us that they still didn't have the piece and to forgive us and that they will give us free wipers like we really need wipers we caN buy them anywhere but then we show up and they finally did it so we had to go back a couple times to get a windshield fix damn but I guess it's not there fault like they would say read more

Went in person for quote and made appointment to replace windshield $397 with coupon. At appointment (2 days later, different staff) they said they had wrong windshield, quoted $750 to replace. Beware!!! I also no it isn't $750 for my basic windshield. Ridiculous!!! read more

Great service. Worked with my insurance and did a good job - you could hardly notice the chip.

I have a 2003 mustang, it had a crack in the windshield. Safelite came to my place of work, replaced the windshiel. I walked out when they were done and the trim pillars were not put back on correctly, and the passenger side is broken. They came back out and tried to correct it, and broke the drivers side also. I'll change my rating once the problem is corrected. I will not recommend safelite read more

Safelite let us know the day before what time they would be arriving at our home to fix our windshield. We received emails keeping us in constant communication with the company. Ronald was on time, extremely knowledgeable, and super friendly. He fixed our windshield in about 30 minutes and even suggested we continue to use the wipers we had even though we asked for new ones. The guys went out out of there way to help me. I had my windshield replaced by them in 2015 and I recognized a leak, after the inspection they showed me exactly how the sunroof was creating the leak. They went as far as 2 try to unclog the drain which they didn't have to, the technician spent a good half hour trying to unclog the drain. In the end they had did their best and managed to unclog the drain as best as they could and managed to remove a lot of the grime that caused the water from coming into my car. The benefit of having my windshield replaced by Safelite was the lifetime warranty but the windshield was fine and they tried to help me as much as I could and I still walked away without paying a dime. read more

Made an appointment online for 8:00 AM, was back on the road 90 minutes later. Replaced windshield on my 2005 Jeep Wrangler. They even replaced my inspection sticker and the sticker for oil change from my mechanic. Highly recommend for any glass repairs or replacement. read more
