I recently had a freak accident where a huge rock flew through my windshield while I was going 65 down the highway. My insurance is a nation wide partner with Safelite, so this is the closest repair shop to me living in Muskogee. Appointment set up is online and easy. But when you call, you only get the hotline. The employees ended up being very nice and professional. It did take 5 hours. Insurance covered my costs, so I've no opinion on pricing. But so far, so good on my full windshield replacement. I have a 2024 Toyota 4 Runner with a crack windshield.the first time I took my vehicle in, I waited two hours and they had not moved it. I inquired how much longer it would take. I was told another hour and a half before they would begin service and at least two hours to fix it. I left because I had another appointment to go to. I live about an hour away and try to do multiple things when I make the trip. when I made the appointment it was to be a 2-3 hour service. the next time it was only 30 minutes after my appointment time before the took my vehicle back. after 5 hours they had replaced the windshield but could not calibrate it. The third time I was there for 4 hours and same thing. they put another windshield on but could not calibrate it. They told me I would need to come back again. after 3 times and 11 hours, I said I am not returning and I am not paying! read more

My husband came here to get his window replaced. When he got it back the dashboard was covered in debris and there were big chunks of rubber. It rained not too long after and his car was completely flooded because the windshield was not installed properly. He had to wait over a week to get an appt. During that week the window also cracked. Got car in a second time to get a second windshield and they made a cut on the inside trim. There was also trash, tape and leftover stuff all inside the car. My windshield took a rock in Amarillo on my way back to Tulsa back in June. I filed a claim right away and my insurance set me up with this Safelite shop, including an appointment. Turns out the windshield was on national back order.I had to wait for over a month for the windshield to make it to the shop. Then, when it finally came in, I had to schedule another appointment with them to get it installed, which took yet another week. I drove all the way down there 7 days ago to get it installed. The guy broke the windshield before he could even get it installed. I was told by both the tech and the rep behind the counter that it was now in-stock and they could get it in my vehicle in a week. They said they already ordered it and they made an appointment for me 7-days later (which was today), early in the morning so I could get this done. I drove all the way down there, which is a 30-45 minute drive depending on traffic and route for me, and the guy at the counter said that the other guy at the counter (from last week) screwed up and did not actually order a new windshield (i.e. he blamed it on a co-worker). I had waited in line a long time to get up to see him and he told me I would have to get out of line so he could help the people behind me before he could continue to help me! I then called my insurance company and explained what had happened. After at least 20 minutes talking to them, while I was on the phone, the guy at the counter came outside and told me that the windshield was, once again, on national back order and he would have to re-order the glass and put me on the waitlist for the backordered item. Once again, he blamed all of this that I had to go through on his co-workers, never taking any responsibility for Safelite's multiple failures and costs to me in time with two wasted trips and now over two months waiting for parts because of their incompetence. I was already on the waitlist over a month ago! Why am I being told to wait, yet again, potentially being put behind someone else on a waitlist when I was already on the list over a month ago. This experience was one of multiple failures on the part of this shop and this company. Not just one person but poor management and work flow from beginning to end. These folks don't care about their work, either in their shop, in their work in the front office, or in their management--why would they allow an install appointment to be made with no item being ordered? And why wouldn't they txt or call me to warn me that they had screwed up? Why can they not flag their own system for errors like this? Other people are paid good money to solve these kinds of problems before they happen. This company just seems not to care about it's customers or it's bad reputation. This is a bad shop. 5 hours. Tried to get us to accept a damaged windshield and offered a huge discount for it that we didn't accept. Found another new windshield and then couldn't get the cameras to celebrate. After several more hours, they finally figured it out. Staff seemed very confused by the process of windshield replacement. The next day it rained and water poured in damaging the interior and electronics. Have been on hold with customer service for over an hour. Will probably have to pursue legal recourse. After leaving my car there the entire day and texting, asking for updates and receiving none they informed me that my car was not gonna get done becausse they had booked me for an all day appointment and did not make me aware of this. So now I have to come back for a third time to get my window fixed so I can go out of town. Absolutely terrible customer service. Dealing with Safelite in Broken Arrow, OK has been an absolute nightmare!! I made an appointment 6 weeks ago to have their professional Technician meet me at my home. I took time away from work and met him in my driveway with the plenty of light and space. The Tech was there all of 5 minutes when said he couldn't take qcare of my windshield replacement due to the fact that he didn't have the correct tools ie molding. He told me to book an appointment in Broken Arrow approximately 35 minutes away for better service. I couldn't get in for 5 more weeks, then finally had the replacement done on a Saturday morning. It took them 2 1/2 hours and I paid. Once I got home in the sunlight, I could see that the upper molding did not fit on my vehicle ie bulging, twisted not flush to the windshield. I immediately called and made a warranty appointment for the following week. Again, I took my vehicle in over my lunch hour (after calling to be assured the right part was in fact there) and once I arrived, they told me it had actually had not arrived. Why they lied I do not know. So I made a "4th" appointment, this time on Saturday as I've already taken too much time away from work. As I was driving to my 4th appointment this afternoon , they called and said although they had "thought" the correct upper molding was there, now they could not find it! So I turned around and went home again and as I was turning off my house alarm and yelling at my dog (he thought I was a burglar!) some guy named Thomas hung up on me!! This is by far the most incompetent business I have run across in years. I have called Safelite's 800 number numerous times and have not been given any resolution. The last person I spoke with (today) made an appointment in Bartlesville for Saturday morning. That is 1 hour away from Tulsa but there is NO way I will return to the unprofessional, dishonest and incompetent staff in Broken Arrow. Now I am inconvenienced yet again (2 hours driving and 2+ hours at their shop) and I'm also very concerned my windshield needs to be replaced. As incompetent as this BA group is; I have zero confidence that my windshield was installed properly. I also spoke with a woman 2 days ago at their 800# who promised someone would be calling me and that Safelite did in fact care about such terrible service. But of course, I have not received a call from anyone. I highly recommend NOT taking your vehicle to this shop. You will surely regret it!! read more

My daughter took her car in to get windshield replaced based on the online quote of $500. She did not authorize them to do the recalibration. They didn't ask her to verify or tell her how much it would be to have this done. Just did it and surprised us with a $1.000 bill. Feels like a complete scam. Will NOT use them again. NO you did not inform my daughter of the change in price so don't tell me that you did. There was no discussion with her. She should have been told up front. Pros: I've been using this company for at least a decade. They are my go to. They do quality work that's lasts. Just had my Mini Cooper windshield repair and it looks good. Cons: I was disappointed they could only do 1/3 chips. The other 2 were considered surface chips and didn't need repairing. Recently I've noticed that their prices seem a bit high. Took waiting three weeks and me calling them to get them to set an appointment for installation for our new windshield. Then they required I come to the warehouse to get installed which we chose them based upon the commercials that show convenience. To top it off it takes two hours and they are located around nothing so you are stuck in a tiny waiting room with nothing and nothing around to get to easily. The tech came out at my scheduled time just to tell me he couldn't replace the window because there was a chance for rain but it never rained. 4 days later another tech came out to replace my windshield and ripped the headliner and scratched the inside frame while replacing the glass. He said he could file a claim to get it fixed or the manager would take care of it without filing a claim. I didn't want to be difficult so I said not to file the claim. The manager offered me $150 off my bill and I agreed. I had used Afterpay to pay and I talked to them and they never got an adjustment from Safelite so I was charged full price. I've reached out to them 3 times and even went to the Safelite office and was told by Josh that he would pass it on to upper management and he would get back to me. After an hour long conversation with a call center rep I got my windshield scheduled. I went into meticulous detail about the situation and contact person. When my tech called this morning he had no information other than the make model and location. When I explained the situation I was told they cannot replace a windshield if it is already leaking nor can they sell me a windshield to have the dealership replace it. That is company policy. Safelite has a reputation nationwide already for fixing glass and they do a good job. I think we all know that. My experience here was surprising to me as I'd never gone into a location to have work done. I drove a company car for almost 10 years and when I needed service they always came out to where I was. Coming into a location for the first time with my own vehicle was actually a pleasant experience. I worked with my insurance provider to schedule an appointment as I just had a chip in my windshield from road debris. I showed up on time for 3PM and the nice lady at the counter had paperwork ready to go. A technician quickly came out and inspected the damage and took my truck into the shop for the repair. He estimated 30 to 45 minutes and that's exactly what it took. The nice lady and the technician made this a smooth and friendly visit and my windshield got the repair it needed with no cost to me as it was covered by my insurance. My review is based on a single visit, but I'd be happy to come here again in the future for any glass needs. read more

I scheduled an appointment for a back glass replacement because it was warped and I couldn't see out the back. I was shocked when the man at the front desk called me and told me it was just the tint that was warped and that I could get it replaced much cheaper and even gave me recommendations for local shops that would do a good job. I had been misquoted elsewhere and told I needed to replace the entire black glass. My knowledge of automotive care is clearly novice and I am extremely appreciative of the people at Safelite for being honest with me and helping me find a better solution. They could have easily taken the money and let me pay more than I needed but chose to be honest and help me out instead. I have had installations from Safelite in the past and will definitely use them again in the future because of this. read more

So safelite called my insurance company and found out I have a 500.00 deductible. The chip repair was 70.00. The repairman made the crack spread and even admitted it before he left. He did say the small crack wouldn't expand. The next day it expanded exponentially. I called them and they said they could replace the windshield and deduct the 70.00 that I had already paid. Guess how much more they want? You guessed it 430.00, to total the exact amount of my deductible. . I'm using another company for the replacement and they are charging 350.00 total. Bye bye safelite! I had a rock chip"fixed"on my car. I had to pay a good deal of money for this service. You cannot feel where the rock hit the window, but the cracks are still there. For the amount of money I paid, I would expect a better repair job. I called to get this fixed, and now I have to see the cracks until I can get someone to replace the window entirely. Around 7 pm, they finally responded to my email stating they would show up sometime the next day (not an morning or afternoon) even and charged me $75 more because my coupon expired (because they failed to show). I emailed and called, but they never called me back. Got a next day appointment with a competitor for less money than Safelite would have charged if they honored my first quote (with the coupon). I was told that I would be updated throughout the day, before, during, and after service was completed and my car would be done by 5 pm. Dropped vehicle off at 9:00 and texted the requested number to let the location know I was there as instructed. No response received. I tried calling at 2pm to check on status of repair and customer service rep could not tell me anything. 4pm rolls around and still no updates. Tried calling to check on status again since I was close by and customer service rep could not get anyone on the phone. 5 pm passes and nothing. 6pm an employee calls to make sure my tech informed me that my car was finished since they noticed my keys were still there and they were closing soon....at that point I had other plans for the evening so I had to wait to pick up my car the next day. I schedule mobile service for today. Between 8-12. At 12 no one had shown up. No messages on updated ETA or anything. So I call, after pushing serval buttons to get to a human, it rings three times and hangs up on me ‍ so I go through the process again. Inform the lady who answers that I was scheduled between 8-12 and no one's shown up. So she puts me on hold to contact the tech. Comes back to say he will "try" to be there between now (12:15 at this point) and 2. I told her that wouldn't work for me as I had somewhere to be at 2, which is why I scheduled for 8-12 with it saying it would take 45 minutes to do repair and allowing myself a cushion of time before I had to be where I needed to be. I prepaid, she asked if I wanted to reschedule, which after waiting 4 hours already and them not being considerate of other peoples time, I told her to refund my money and I would find somewhere else to go. Original windshield replacement quote on March 18, 2021 was $404.05. On March 22, 2021 the price changes to $817.13 more than double the original price quote. What are you going to do? I had a chip in my windshield and took it in to get it filled. They cracked it on either side of the chip and after less than a week, it is now halfway across my windshield. The technician stated that as soon as he "turned on the machine" it cracked, but that he "got a good amount of resin in there, so it should hold for a while". I feel that he should have known that the location wasn't a good spot for drilling and filling and told me that I should probably just wait and see what happened. If zero was an option I would gladly give this place a zero and would not recommend any work being done here. I had my windshield replace by their so call qualified technician. Upon replacing the windshield the technician damage the passenger side windshield trim piece and acted like it was not a big deal. He handed me the broken piece and said the piece cost $40-$50 at the auto store which is a lie. The piece can only be bought online or from the dealership for roughly $300. Safelite needs to cover unexpected expenses when their employees are at fault for being incompetent and breaking pieces. I called and talk to the manager to get a solution to the issue, manager acted like it wasn't a big deal but said she would order a aftermarket part to fix it. 4 months has past and nothing has been done. Please shut this site down or hire a qualified manager to handle situations and re train all their employees to do the job properly. Last Sunday my mini van got a small chip in the windshield so I booked an appointment online. Unfortunately the earliest date available was a month away. Since I was off work on Saturday, I decided to go directly to Safelite to see if there was any way to have the windshield repaired sooner. To my surprise, in less than an hour I was headed home with the windshield repaired! Besides being treated very nicely, I was also given a excellent price for the repair so I did not have to file a claim with my insurance company. About three years ago my wife took our SUV to this same Safelite location to have the windshield replaced. Her experience was exactly like mine, so I can wholeheartedly recommend Safelite without reservation. PS. I live in Broken Arrow, OK, not in California.
