We need a new windshield in our truck - it can't be driven into a place as it does not currently have one - i called on Friday to see if SafeLite could come to our home and replace the windshield (they will not let you speak to someone in Dothan) the appointment was scheduled for Monday between noon and 5. We were actually able to get a hold of the local Dothan office Monday morning and they said they can't do service calls outside of the shop - we have to bring it in. So if you think you are going to get someone to come to your home of place of business by calling the customer service center (even though it is the local number) try and get a hold of the local folks to confirm that appointment as customer service has not a clue as to what they are capable of doing locally. read more

"Hey buddy, I'm here to install your windshield. I need you to unlock your car." This was my greeting upon answering my doorbell. After curtly informing him of first name, I wondered what's next. From his company vehicle radio I could hear his right wing radio talking heads. While they didn't say anything objectionable, It was clear to me his political leanings. I just completed the company follow-up survey. He had to have seen my Biden/Harris sticker from 2020. I clearly stated my displeasure with their employee in the survey. I also requested a call back. I value good customer service. I did not receive it in this instance. Otherwise I would have given them 5stars. That initial greeting killed an otherwise perfect replacement so far. read more

caution!!! I would give a zero rating if I could. We took our 2024 Palisade to have the windshield replaced. Drove my car from Opp to Dothan 4 times to have them repair it. They tried putting off market windshields in and then broke the cover that goes behind the rear view mirror and glued it back together without telling us, then of course it fell off! Took it back because they ordered another windshield and the part they broke only to ask me for the broke part to make the new part work! I left without the repair. if you use this business in Dothan, you will regret it. read more

We scheduled an appointment at the Dothan location. We were then told that the work would take 1 and 1/2 to 2 hours total time. I told the attendant that I was not told this. He very arrogantly said that it was clearly stated in the email. I read both emails I had received through Geico and IT DID NOT STATE THE WORK TIME IN THE EMAILS ! The worktime was listed on the Safelite website. I booked through Geico not Safelite. Why would I go to the Safelite website when I had Geico book the appointment? I think the attendant was not happy working there. He should probably get another job and stop taking his job frustrations out on his customers. I rebooked for an at home appointment 2 days later and the job was completed satisfactorily. read more

This shop is excellent. I needed my windshield replaced and Stephen was so kind and helpful. I drove up to the shop, sat for about an hour and a half in the waiting room and when he finished my windows were all cleaner and clearer than ever before. My rearview mirror gave me some problems after I left, and when I came back they completely fixed it in like 3 minutes. I felt very comfortable with their pricing, and they even helped me work with my insurance to make sure I wasn't overcharged. I wish all car technicians were like these guys! read more

It was very easy to set up an appointment and satellite had the best price for my area. They did the job about 3 weeks ago and it is still holding up so it must have been a good job. There was a little bit of dirt on the dash but not much. Also a little bit of material on the inside right side of the window. I may just cut that off with a utility knife. We used Safelite for auto glass replacement on our van. I had no issues with the professionalism or interactions with the staff. However, I'm about to have to contact Safelite a THIRD time to come and look at my windshield as it seems the original job was not done correctly. We can still hear wind passing through the passenger side of the windshield. As you can imagine, this is just one more thing to add to our already full 'to do' list. read more

We had our back window spontaneously blow out in our pick up truck. This truck has a power slide back window and the entire unit had to be replaced. We had a few kinks to work out with the insurance company, safelite helped us square it away. There was also an issue with the power window they had in stock, they saw the problem and immediately came out and told me and put everything back together, ordered a new one and put it two days later! I currently live in Enterprise and I scheduled windshield replacement service over the Internet. I was ask able to schedule the service almost a month out which was super amazing because of my hectic schedule. I received multiple emails along with a phone from the technician when he would be by. Upon his arrival he talked about all the service he would provide and the job was complete in less then an hour. Overall it was an amazing experience I will continue to use there services. read more

When we contacted the business they were very nice about coming out and did a good job installing the new windshield. Unfortunately that was where our positive experience ended. When the technician came in to write up the bill I said I wanted to go outside to see what the job looked like. When I went outside the first thing I saw was a pit in the windshield. I asked what that was and the technician said it was dirt and he could rub it out, he couldn't. He got who he said was his supervisor on the phone and they said they would come out and bring another windshield to install. I had him come back inside and got my husband who was at work on the phone and told my husband what was going on. He talked to the technician who admitted that it was a defect and told my husband that they would come out and replace the windshield within the next two weeks. My husband said that maybe the guy didn't see the defect when installing the windshield, but I saw it as soon as I went out there so I don't know how he could have missed it. We still haven't heard anything from them about replacing the defective windshield they installed. My husband contacted the corporate office by email about the problem, received no reply. Bottom line to me is not that great a company when it comes to customer service and always check their work because they can't be trusted. We paid over $500 for a defective windshield. read more
