Got a rock thrown up at me Wednesday night east bound on 820. Once I got to my destination, I searched Safelite and got a repair appointment Thursday early morning. I paid out of pocket for a small star type crack approximately $180. They do take insurance and also offer additional windshield services if needed. I was in and out in 30 minutes! The waiting area is clean and big. Wifi, coffee, American Pickers playing on the big tv and bottled waters provided along with chargers station, restrooms and plenty of seating. The techs were super nice as were the receptionists. Very impressed! Hope to never have a chip again but will definitely return to this location. Thanks guys! read more

I don't even know how these people are still in business. Told me they were coming to fix my window, had me scheduled between 8-12. By 11:30 I hadn't heard anything so I called. They first told me I was supposed to have gone to a shop (that was never discussed or mentioned), then they said the tech "tried to come" but couldn't find my house. Mind you, I never received a message saying they were on their way. Then I was told oh well we dont have that window in stock so we cant do anything for you. Wanted me to reschedule. Yeah, no... Should be no stars at all. Was charged a lot more than quoted. Did not resolve the issue when I called about it. Put me through to the manager and was hung up on. Called right back and they were closed. Sorry I used them. The installer was professional and courteous when he came to my house. Should be the manager. I used another location and they did a good job. I booked this one on line and they came to my house which there was supposedly a discount for this. I guess promo codes aren't allowed either. If I had of known it was another location I would have done my review homework. Multiple bad reviews Safelite response is false. I was never told there would be a change from the original estimates. I have quotes with time stamps and none with what they actually charged me. You also deleted the promo code. Own it Safelite. You're shady! read more

Showed up at 7:30 on a Saturday morning to Use drop key option and surprisingly they were open!! 7:30 am on a Saturday morning and open!!!! My car required calibration and front windshield replacement. I was out in about an hour. Bonus: A free can of glass cleaner! Free keurig coffee and TV in waiting room I had a bad experience with a previous windshield repair company but this one blew me away. read more

I recently had my windshield replaced with Safelite at the 8200 South location in Fort Worth. It's our first time to use the service. A week later we had a strong rain storm and the automatic feature turned on the wipers. One wiper flew off and the metal part that holds the wiper scratched the glass. I called their location and explained that the technicians may have accidentally loosen the wiper and i just wanted it replaced and the scratched windows replaced under warranty. They told me at the shop that it's not an issue they will fix. That there technicians never touch the wipers even to pull it away from the glass. I know using common sense that we are humans and we make mistakes at work from time to time. But taking ownership should the the highest of all customer service trades. I even drove out of my way because I was told over the phone they will take care of it. I dive up for them to look and turn me away. They have the worst service and this was my first time to use a windshield replacement company. Safelife sucks and the way the employee was talking to me inside almost brought out the worst in me. I had to hold my head up high and keep calm. I was told I have to wait until Monday before the manager will call us back. It's Friday!! SAFELITE 0 STARS!! Update: February 3 2025 Its been 4 days which included early afternoon friday when I visited the store. I have not heard back from either the location Manager or the District Manager Jeremy Leyba. As I mentioned above horrible customer service and no efforts to reach back out. I will be updating each day to let everyone know not to do busy with this company. They only want your money. This location broke multiple interior and exterior pieces on my car. They admitted guilt only after I confronted them about it. The manager, John, said he would have it all replaced /and or repaired. He then retracted after he was presented with an estimate to have the interior pieces replaced. This location is very sneaky by knowing they broke parts (tried to hide it with black sticky material). I will never do business with this dishonest place. I recommend finding a good local business that actually cares about its customer and treats them with value. read more

I scheduled an appt to have a windshield replaced. I received verification of my appt and even a reminder. The day of appt. My son who is the owner of the vehicle waited all day and safelite did not show up. I tried calling customer service and was told they could not take my call. I tried the automated service and was told a manager would return my call regarding the no show of the tech. That was Friday, it is now Tuesday and still no call. Needless to say I called another company and they arrived within 3 hrs and completed the job. I had full communication with this company through out the appointment.
