My girl's Fri t windshield was cracked and needed replacing. I contacted several companies including the one that everyone knows and probably considers a "Safe" bet. I read the reviews for all and Abstract had the best out of all that I researched and had at least a dozen reviews. So I contacted them for a quote. The quote was close but slightly less than any of the others including the one that usually comes up first when you Google windshield replacement. So I reached out to the company and Prince called me back even though he happened to be on vacation. He said he would be back on Tuesday and he could fit me in on Wed or after. I said ok but I had hoped he could get to it sooner because I had to go out of town for a conference and I was hoping to get it done by Tuesday as a birthday surprise but I understood it was late notice so that was fine. Prince called me first thing Tuesday morning and said he had moved some things around to accommodate me since it was a birthday surprise and I had to leave town the next day. I had abstract auto glass replace my windshield on my 2017 Infinity QX 60 on July 3. He said he was unable to remove my rain sensor patch and would be back out the following Monday or Tuesday with a new one. Well we went into 3 weeks later and no show no call so I called and spoke to him to remind him about it and he said he would be out the following Friday. Well again a no show no call. Prince asked if I had a rain sensor for my windshield and I honestly thought I did but when he showed up he realized that I actually didn't, my mistake. I apologized and he said, no big deal, it happens, but we both knew the rain was supposed to be coming the next day and last for a while, and after discovering that I had an hour long commute between home and work, he decided to go out of his way early the next morning and come replace my windshield so that I would be equipped to face the rain later that day. Awesome guys!! I had scheduled for Terrick to come out to my office on Thursday this week and he said he would be there around 2. I got pulled into an unexpected meeting and missed him by about 30 minutes. I felt so bad! He said it was no problem and also scheduled to come out this morning at 8:30 to take care of my windshield. He was here on time, took 40 minutes and was done! I was able to go back up to work and he called me when they were done for me to come out and make sure everything was good to go. The rubber around my windshield started coming off while I was on my way home today. I called a couple of places to get quotes to get it fixed and was told that Safelite would only do it if they had previously replaced your windshield, and another place quoted me $120. Then I called Abstract Auto Glass. Terrick told me he could fix it in a few minutes for $20. Even though he was already done for the day, he told me to come by and he fixed it in five minutes!
