Week1,Scheduled mobile service to fix small chip in my brand new truck windshield , they split my windshield , it happens. Week 2-So then,I had to bring it to their shop for replacement. First appointment, they called me and canceled because new windshield came in cracked, ok I guess. Week 3- Re-scheduled for next week, on my way (30 miles away) got a text saying they forgot to order new windshield and I needed to re-schedule again, I find this unacceptable. They did offer to put new wipers on my truck when/if they ever got windshield in. 3 times tried to get this store to fix windshield, 1st time coming to me it rained and was not given any consideration when he told me he could not make it i told him I had appointment in store next day. They call and cancel because he doesn't leave my windshield at store. 3rd time waited what I was told 2 hours then when I go to pick up they have not even started and tried to tell me I was expected to wait all day when I live 45 minutes away and have been working all night. The employee came out to replace my sister's window shield this evening and was AWFUL. He kept trying to get out of actually doing his job and kept implying we were less important than the ten other customers he still had to do. He rolled his eyes after every comment that was made. I just don't understand why he is an employee there if he doesn't want to do his job? Scheduled a appointment for a window replacement a week out. Technician called me at the end of the day 5:00pm saying he can't do it in the dark. Stated we will receive a text on when it is rescheduled. Never received that text had to call customer service to reschedule. Unfortunately it is scheduled for 3 more days out. If they cancel your appointment you go back to the bottom of the list of appointments. Probably because I paid and it's not insurance pay so they can't charge a higher price. Please if you can help it, do not use this company for your glass replacement needs. I have had the worse experience ever with my windshield replacement for my vehicle. I have been dealing with this company since July 7th, 2022. They setup an appointment to get the windshield replaced and when I got there, the windshield was not there. I lost a day of work because of this. Up to this day they can't tell me where my windshield is or when it will be in. In the meantime, I have to drive with an obstructed vision all this time. I spoke several times with Jennifer at the Hickory branch and Brandon Johnson one of the Managers in Charlotte NC in which he just had someone else call me and tell me that they don't have a way to track the windshield arrival date. While today I called another shop and they can have the windshield in 3 days from the dealership. read more

I took my 2023 Camry Trd with 16k miles to have the windshield replaced, my dash is covered in light scuff marks, dug deep enough there is no wiping it off, the technician told the associate up front that the marks were left after he used a broom to sweep my dash off, I took my car back for the manager Phillip to look at it and he is telling me now there is no way their "soft bristle brushes" that they use as a courtesy to the customer could've done that. I know my own car, it's brand new, I know what damages occur to my own vehicle that I make the payments on, he argued the color of my interior with me so I asked him to walk into the sunlight to look at the color of my interior and the damages that happened under their care of my vehicle, I was told numerous times "he wasn't arguing with me" I have reached out to corporate numerous times. I have contacted my insurance to start another claim on their preferred provider. I have yet to talk to a district manager or someone higher than Phillip, and it has been 6 days since the damages and I feel like I am being brushed off because to them it's not a big deal. To me it is. It's a brand new car, it should come back to me the way I brought it to you. Disgusted is an understatement. I don't recommend this location to anyone nor do I believe that Phillip should be in management. A professional businessman would appreciate me bringing this to their attention to further prevent other damages to other vehicles not argue the car I picked out and pay for every month. Like you know my own vehicle better than the daily driver. Get over yourself Phillip and man up and take responsibility for your teams carelessness!!!!!!!! I had a difficult time getting them to schedule the work as they only came to the town I was in once a week and it was raining the entire time. I worked 3rd shift and the office did not want to schedule they as 1st job. I finally had to get firm to get they to come out. The glass is vibrating and I have to let them know so nothing bad happens. read more

I made a claim with my auto insurer, USAA, for a windshield rock chip repair. They're default subcontractor is Safelite. My insurance policy clearly states the comprehensive deductible will be waived when such a repair is made. Nevertheless, the repair technician attempted to collect the full service fee of $159 upon completion of his repair. I showed him documentation to demonstrate waiver of the comprehensive deductie in this instance and he left without collecting payment. The following day, I received a telephone call from a woman at the Marion, NC Safelite who demanded payment in full by telephone. Although I had set up the claim and the service call directly through USAA, Carrie told me she had no record of my insurance on her paperwork. That it showed a cash sale. I referred her to my insurance company and told her there must be an error. The entire time, Carey continue to talk over and above me. Frustrated, I calmly said"if you continue to speak over me, I will terminate the call". At this point, Cary said "I'll do it for you" and hung up! What followed was over an hours conversation with no fewer than three Safelite representatives from other offices. Finally, I was transferred to a woman who deals with safelight complaints on behalf of USAA and other insurers. she explained apparently someone at the Safelite office throughout the original claim information from USAA, so my service call was considered a direct request for service and cash payment. Not my problem but clearly, my hassle and time. I do not understand how Safelite could hire, train and retain an unptlrofessional employee such as Cary. read more

My front windshield was broken and Safelite came out the next day and had it fixed in about an hour. The whole process was quick and easy.

Safelite cause a stress fracture when installing my windshield and refuses to replace it even though it's under the 30 day warranty. I DO NOT recommend Safelite and will go elsewhere in the future. read more

Today I brought my car in for the cracked windshield as I walked in someone helped me right away. I guess they were having an office party while I came in, multiple people offered me food from their little party that they had. Everyone was super sweet and nice and took my car in right away. I really enjoyed the fact that even though they were having their party they came right up to me as soon as I walked in the door to help me!!
