Had very tiny chip. Came out to fix the fix caused a 2" crack which kept growing. Had windshield replaced 12/05/25. Was told I would receive a check for the $125 I paid for the original chip"fix" in the mail the next week. It is now 1/30/26 and I have spent over 1 hour on 3 phone calls each time telling me I would b receiving my check promptly. Drove to the store today (1/2 hour ea way) to collect check. Of course no check. When I had to pay for my windshield I paid. Don't understand how I can send money 3000 miles away in 30 seconds and it takes a company like safelite 2 months and counting to send me $125 read more

They are the worst. I had a tiny crack in my windshield, about the size of a pinky fingernail, and they came out to "repair" it and make the crack 8 inches long. They then said I should buy the replacement windshield from them using my $500 deductible. I wouldn't be surprised if they have a racket going to break the windshield to make more money. read more

After my back window was shattered 5 hours from home, I was told by my insurance company to go to Safelite in West Bend on Monday when they open, for a temporary wrap so I could get home and wait for an appt a week later at Safelite there. No appointment needed, they assured me. When I arrived they told me they needed an appt. After multiple questions, I determined that there wasn't much critical thinking going on and tried to call my insurance company, who I spent 38 minutes on intermittent hold with. I went back into Safelite and asked again and they said that if my insurance company could get me an appointment 2 weeks out with them they would try to work me in. They said maybe, in the next few hours. Meanwhile I watched the tech who had F*CK YOU (sans the asterisk) emblazoned on his calf walk by several times and thought, "yep, that's about right." Their 24 hour "extra mile pledge" isn't worth the paper it's printed on if they can't think critically enough to help a customer out. This is a fail on both Chubb insurance and Safelite's part. Off to Menards for some plastic sheeting and duct tape that will likely damage the paint on my vehicle. Thanks Safelite. And Chubb. read more

Person said they expired months ago - seriously - looking right at coupon and it wasn't expired. Very overpriced. Use Robert at Carini's! They come to you and don't charge extra for that. read more

Friends, take my advice: if you ever find yourself in need of a new windshield for your vehicle, do NOT go to Safelite in West Bend!!! I made an appointment with them and dropped off my car at 9:15 this morning. They told me that they would call me when it was done, and that they closed at 5 pm. We busied ourselves in town for a few hours before going back home to Hartford. Finally, after not hearing from Safelite by 4:15, we decided to just drive back to West Bend and wait while they finished up on my vehicle. Imagine my shock and anger when we pulled into the lot and my car hadn't been touched!!! Seven hours had passed, and they were scheduled to close in 25 minutes, and they hadn't yet started to fix my car!! I demanded my keys back and very angrily told them that their company sucks!! So now I get to find ANOTHER windshield service and start the process all over again!! SAFELITE in West Bend, WI SUCKS!!!!! read more

Our insurance company recommended this place. They quoted us one price and charged another. Brought it to their attention, they acknowledged the mistake but did nothing. After the BBB contacted them, they reached out promising to resolve the issue. To date they have done nothing. We now have all the documentation. Next step is contacting the BBB again and my insurance company. Then my credit card. Bait and switch and impossible to work with. Think they expect us to just go away. We are not going away. How about being an honest business and charge the quoted price. read more

Needed my windshield replaced after a rock landed on it at 70mph. Ben did an awesome job. Got a courtesy call early in the day w/ an ETA, got a call when he was 15 min out and ahead of schedule, got a very detailed explanation of the replacement & recalibration process & what precautions to take for the next 24 hours. I had a scheduled appointment between 8am and noon on a Friday. Thursday evening I received an email telling me that they would be here at 8 am. At 11:10 am a technician called to tell me that he would not be here before 12:30 pm, and did not know an exact timeframe. I needed to be on the road by 2 pm, so I called the store manager. Her response was less than helpful. I was told that I could bring my vehicle to their shop, even though I already paid for them to come to me, or I could wait until next week. No apologies, just excuses, no offer of discount, just to bad so sad! Horrible customer service!! I asked for a full refund and called another company to do the installation. read more

Went on a Saturday to get shattered rear car window replaced. I told them I needed the window with a built in antenna. They assured me they knew what they were doing. They told me I didn't have gps in my car so the window they had would work. Low and behold it did not. Wasted three hours there. Now I have a wrong year window installed and no radio signal what so ever. So yeah that's awesome. They said they would fix it for me another day. They never called back. It's Thursday and I'm just going there to screw up their other appointments. Since they won't deny me to my face in front of other customers that they need to fix this problem. read more

I had my window replaced recently after my car was broken into. The man who installed the window was very professional, explained each step that he was doing (as it took a little bit longer than anticipated but it wasn't an easy fix). He cleaned up all of the glass, too! When I first called Safelite, the store closest to my home wasn't available for 4 days. However, he provided other stores nearby which had availability. We had to drive a little out of the way but were able to get the window fixed right away. read more

The technician was very nice and helpful and went out of his way to help get the windshield replaced. I was told that I would get the mobile fee waived for having two vehicles worked on at the same location but they never removed the fee. I called to ask for the credit and they said they would look into it and get back to me. I called multiple days to see if they came up with anything and finally they said they could honor the credit and get it taken care of right away. It has been two weeks since my vehicle was worked on and I still have yet to see a credit. I am very frustrated at this point!!! read more

DO NOT GO HERE FOR WINDSHIELD REPAIR!!! We used them to replace the windshield on our vehicle, and after they were finished the 'unlock' button on our car key was broken. When we told them that it was working perfectly fine until immediately after their technician had possession of the key, they refused to take responsibility and said it was simply a "faulty part". The vehicle is only about 6 months old and the tactile switch that was destroyed is rated for 150,000 actuations according to it's data sheet (C&K PTS810-160N, found after substantial research). It seems highly unlikely that it is a "faulty part" and much more likely that it was an extremely rough, careless technician. Now we will have to pay around $240 for a new key. To add insult to injury, they gave us the runaround by demanding we make an appointment to come in in-person, only to quickly look at the key and tell us the "part was faulty". Total waste of time and money, awful customer service! read more

I had a windshield repaired on my vehical during the winter. Shortly after having it replace I saw a crack running up the corner of my windshield. I was very upset and was sure that I would end up having to pay for a new one. When I called to question if it was under warranty. it was as simple as them looking up my number. they said that they could have it fixed immediately at no charge to me at all. I was was so happy. It is nice to know that they were willing to stand behind there work. I will be sure to use them in the fucture for any servcies I need. read more
