Had windshield replaced on the 20th. They cracked it worse than the initial difficulty. Tech said notification would be made by email didn't hear my the end of day on the 23rd. Went in person to schedule replacement for the one they broke for June 1st. They called the day before to say they haven't ordered the windshield and I had to go in once again to get it scheduled for a date past my vacation schedule. Had my windshield replaced one week ago today. The seal around my windshield started coming off 3 days ago so scheduled a follow up appointment at my home and was given a window from 8:00 AM until noon. Nobody showed up. At 12:05 a woman called me and said that they were overbooked and wouldn't make for about 2 hours. My issues started the very first day that I brought my car to the shop on 23rd st. That day my appointment was at 10:00 am and right when I arrived I was told "we're running behind today " . Just so unprofessional. We needed our windshield replaced since we had a pretty big crack from a rock hitting it , on or first appointment there was a misunderstanding that they thought it was just a rock chip so we had to make a second trip while they ordered our windshield (understandable) however during the replacement of the windshield they managed to scratch and chip the paint while getting the old windshield out (not cool to do on a new car) read more

The time it took the 2 of them was 4+ hours. They did not put my toll road transponder back nor did they put the car wash sticker back on. I reported the car wash and am working on the toll roads responder. The other sticker they dud put back top left. It belongs bottom left. The female advised me my "struts" were bad. And they did not put my hood back down completely. I also got that taken care of. The last time I interacted with Safelite Auto-glass the gentleman was done in one hour working alone. And he put all the stickers back on correctly. These two were not professional. read more

The inside was also terrible they didn't vacuum up the glass shards on my dash. In addition, the chipped a piece of my dash. Would never recommend to anyone. I came here on the recommendation from my warranty service to fix a crack in my windshield. I had the Mobile Repair option but decided to have it worked on at the shop. They were professional to a "T" from the initial appointment over the phone, dropping the car off at the shop and picking it up at completion. The work took less than 45 minutes. Terrible customer service today. Technician at front desk was rude and condescending. Brought in a 2023 Tacoma and apparently they didn't have the glass because it has to be ordered from the dealership. The guy spoke to me like I was stupid, well I'm not the glass guy you freaking jerk it's your job to explain the situation. Like I'm supposed to know this already. Safelite came to my home and replaced a cracked windshield. I later noticed that the rubber molding was problematic. The left and right ends of the top molding had been finished differently, one end having been pulled under the window sidebar and the other end having been cut near the edge of the sidebar (and cut crooked). There was also a side piece of molding which had a tear in it. And, the lower panel, where the windshield wipers are attached, had buckled up on both the driver and passenger sides. Meanwhile, the lower panel was starting to ease itself back into place. Although it is plastic, it has some flexibility. I think the hot weather caused it to relax. The passenger side was the worst. I put a bag of sugar on it, hoping the weight would press it back into shape while the plastic softened in the extreme heat of summer. Gradually, the passenger's side formed to 1/4 inch over the windshield, and the driver's side to 1/8 inch. Safelite told me the new windshields come with the molding already attached. Possibly, Safelite installs a lot of windshields with substandard molding. They will not order a new windshield for you. As for the side piece of molding with the tear in it, Safelite re-uses the old molding from your car. Apparently, most insurance companies will not pay for new material. However, the windshield seems secure. I have driven the car a lot, and also taken it to the carwash. There is no rattling or leaking. It is just that the molding looks shoddy. The Safelite employees are pleasant, and I expect they are bound by Safelite company policy regarding these matters. Just a suggestion: inspect your new windshield before it is installed, and make sure the top molding is cut even with the glass on both sides. If you do not want any old strips of molding re-used, pay cash for new materials. I believe Safelite should not have installed a substandard windshield without my consent. I should have had the right to refuse it. Now I am stuck with it unless my car gets hit by a rock again and I have to get another new windshield, and then I will be older and wiser. read more

Aldo, the Safelite Tech arrived early in the service window and did a great job with the installation of my new windshield.

After several appointments that they set up, I showed up and was told no glass was available 3 times. I have to admit that I was definitely not happy because I was promised by the manager that I would be called if the glass wasn't in, and that never happened. I had to go round and round with the fact that the online car wasn't the right model and I kept telling them but they just wanted to argue that I am wrong. Well I was right all along and they just made excuses for not listening. I finally get the glass and take it in and replaced, and my window doesn't work because when they took it apart they didn't reconnect it and trying to get it fixed is another issue. Insurance companies use this company but I think this place is definitely lacking both in customer service and checking their work. Not a happy customer. read more

Noticed the guy on my cameras "Aldo" climbing in the vehicle door with tools in his hands pressed against the paint job, and then sitting on the door hinge and frame, so I went out and simply said "these parts for this car are very expensive, so take your time and be careful". needless to say they set tools on the roof with no mat under them, broke parts and never installed the water hoses for the washer fluid proper, even put them under the rubber seal of the vent grill on top and left them hanging. scratched the roof, broke retainer clips and to top it off, he pulled off my steering wheel fluid cap??? and have him on camera pulling on things in the engine area, very unprofessional and apparently no management oversight. NOT RECOMMENDED ! costed me hours of trying to fix sloppy work and broken parts, find other damage from pulling on things in the engine when he was only replacing a windshield. read more

Unfortunately about 1 month into owning my 2019 Mustang, I caught a nice size rock in my windshield. I called my insurance company and they suggested I use this companies mobile service. At first I was a little irritated because they said they would be there between the hours of 8am to 4pm....as in anytime during the day. However, I received a text at 8:30am that they were on their way. A young gentleman showed up and he was very kind and full of smiles. It took him about 20-25 mins and he even vacuumed my car. We set up a commercial account through George Spillius who is supposedly the are manager for us. He informed us that with a commercial account, we would have no charge for windshield chips and a discount for windshield replacements. We also have this on recordings from using our phones. When it came time to get one fixed, we were told that there is a charge and that charge wound up being more than when we did a personal cash payment. What a rip off. I will never use them again. And not to mention that the chip replacement looks like absolute crap. Good luck with them. read more

They installed the windshield just fine but they left adhesive on the seat. They tried to remove it, several times, but the pictures attached are the best they could do. Trying to get them to fix it has been such a headache. I've finally given up. I had my $40,000 car less than six months before it had a stain on the front seat from these people! They have no respect for other people's vehicles!! Why are the seats not covered if there is even a chance of adhesive making its way onto them?
