Just recently completed my First Aid / CPR / AED recertification - AJ was the instructor. He covered the material, with some humor, and seemed very well prepared. Registration was easy. The location is ideal for me, and has plenty of parking and nearby coffee, bank, Trader Joe's, etc. This is my second time with these folks - different instructors. Barring weirdness, I intend to recert with them in 2 years. It's a friendly, comfortable course (given a somewhat dry and boring subject, and potentially long day). read more

Awesome class! I own an in home daycare and take care of 12 babies from 0 to 5 years old and, I've taken 3 cpr classes and none of them ever left me feeling like I was prepared for any emergency. This time I'm ready should I ever (hopefully not ) need to be. The teacher Raheem was wonderful he answered all of our questions, was professional, funny and made the class enjoyable. He was also an emt, so he shared tricks with us that I've never known before, and it was much better than sitting through an 8 hr class only watching videos. Loved the class! Thomas was great at touching on all subjects that pertained to what we (as healthcare providers) needed to know and made it interesting and fun. AJ was awesome! He was super knowledgable and made the class super fun and not boring at all. He was patient with us and made it clear and easy for us to learn the information and perform the skills. I've taken other BLS classes with Red Cross and the instructor was terrible and rude and threatened to fail people every chance he got. After my second time taking a BLS CPR course here I realized that this place is exceptional. Both of the teachers I had were charismatic and engaging. I appreciated that they were EMTs by trade so they could provide real life examples and clearly had plenty of experience to speak from. This time I had TJ as a teacher and he even managed to get me excited about learning CPR by emphasizing the importance of our role in the community to keep people alive until the ambulance can arrive. I like the way that he highlighted what was important and made the process seem doable. Maybe it was because this was the 2nd time I've taken the course, but I feel more confident about my skills now, and I think I'm starting to get it. I also appreciate the way the business is run: allowing for last minute cancellations, providing a cell phone charging station, and offering the class at a reasonable price. I highly recommend that anyone who needs to learn CPR does it here. Thank you! read more

I had to find a class last minute yesterday and I when I came across this class I wasn't sure how good it would be, but being desperate I didn't care. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The course was very good. Knowledgable instructor, friendly, efficient and I feel like he did a nice job of teaching and I walked away with a good understanding of the changes. Don't be fooled by the looks of the location. Although it is upstairs from a nail salon in a shopping center, the room was plenty big and comfortable. I took the BLS/CPR class. I thought the instructor was very knowledgeable and spoke from a place of experience. He made the class very interesting and did a lot of hand on work. The written test at the end was easy and they even allow you to use the book if needed. I would definitely take additional classes from this facility and recommend it to others. read more

Best CPR class ever! Covers everything and gets it done quickly/ on time! Last three times I (LVN) had to get recertification went to the concord location and it was great! They also have snacks, are efficient and appreciate medical humor! My mom (RN) now goes here too for her recertification because I told her how great the class was! read more

Today I was so privileged to attend the Basic Life Support/CPR class and our amazing instructor was Mr. Tomas Suzuki. To begin, I felt really comfortable with the teacher because he greeted us in a very friendly, professional manner and with confidence and expert training he was able to teach us skills in a way that were easy to learn. I know all of this "academically" but was fearful that I would blow it "live" Thanks to Mr. Suzuki my fears went away quickly and I felt so at ease at demonstrating my skills in a top-notch learning environment. This is attributed to Mr. Suzuki who knows a lot about people skills in addition to CPR,etc. You have to create a learning environment where students are comfortable and then excel to their greatest potential. That would be me today and I couldn't say enough great things about this class. I leave with a lot of confidence that in a crisis or life/saving situation , I have been given the tools succeed. I just completed the 5 hour CPR/AED/FIRST AID training. Tyler was our instructor. The class was very informative and thorough. I left feeling completely capable of handling an emergency situation. I would highly recommend attending a class here. The classroom/training center is in a nice shopping center with several places to grab a snack or coffee. Parking is easy. read more

Did a class just before giving birth and loved that it included infant CPR as well as adult CPR. The class went by in no time and the instructor's way of making this serious topic fun at the same time as very informative and educational helps me to remember the training.
