I took the First Aid/CPR/AED course and I thought it was great. My main instructor was TJ Bunnel and Nina was an assistant. Both TJ and Nina were easy going, relaxed instructors who were able to keep the energy of everyone in the class going. TJ and Nina were knowledgeable and able to answer any and all questions. They even provided light refreshments since there aren't any breaks. All in all, it was a great experience and I feel very confident in being able to assist someone should the need ever arise. Hands down the best CPR/first class I have ever taken! I would highly recommend this program. Rasheed is the best teacher! He makes class fun and engaging. He even stayed a few minutes after class to help me go over CPR on a baby, since I was having trouble with the mask fitting over the face without having air escape. I took my BLS for Healthcare with TJ. This was by far the best course I've taken! TJ was energetic and made learning about CPR fun and easy to understand! Three hours flew by quickly and I feel competent to provide BLS if needed. My only recommendation is with the tv monitor. The videos loaded slowly throughout the course. I liked that you receive your certification at the end of class. Overall, I had a great experience and will return once my certification expires. read more

I just completed the 5 hour CPR/AED/FIRST AID training. Tyler was our instructor. The class was very informative and thorough. I left feeling completely capable of handling an emergency situation. I would highly recommend attending a class here. The classroom/training center is in a nice shopping center with several places to grab a snack or coffee. Parking is easy. read more

I took a CPR class for healthcare providers. The instructor Rasheed was very professional and pleasantly easy going. He brought humor to the dialog and lots of expertise. I took the BLS/CPR class. I thought the instructor was very knowledgeable and spoke from a place of experience. He made the class very interesting and did a lot of hand on work. Today I was so privileged to attend the Basic Life Support/CPR class and our amazing instructor was Mr. Tomas Suzuki. To begin, I felt really comfortable with the teacher because he greeted us in a very friendly, professional manner and with confidence and expert training he was able to teach us skills in a way that were easy to learn. I know all of this "academically" but was fearful that I would blow it "live" Thanks to Mr. Suzuki my fears went away quickly and I felt so at ease at demonstrating my skills in a top-notch learning environment. This is attributed to Mr. Suzuki who knows a lot about people skills in addition to CPR,etc. You have to create a learning environment where students are comfortable and then excel to their greatest potential. That would be me today and I couldn't say enough great things about this class. I leave with a lot of confidence that in a crisis or life/saving situation , I have been given the tools succeed. I have attended several STS classes over the years to fulfil my job requirement, I always dread to attend this class since it's pretty much the same routine as well as boring. went to the class this morning with the same attitude. At the outset when he greeted me with a smile it was a nice start & then to my surprise today's 9/18 class in Concord was one of the best one I have ever attended. The instructor, Bukhari, was FANTASTIC! He was knowledgeable about the material and extremely engaging. The administration staff however, was not as stellar as the instruction. They called to confirm about 3 hours after I had booked the class. They also were calling to advise me to pay the invoice. I let them know that I was at work but I would check my email after work and pay it. Upon returning home I checked my email and my junk email but no invoice was sent. I then replied to the confirmatory email letting them know I had not received an invoice. I never received an invoice so paid with a check, as requested, the day of attendance. I then received a phone call today asking if I had paid. I advised her that I had paid with a check on Sunday because I had not received an invoice. The caller then argued with me several minutes telling me they had sent me an invoice. For a $190 class and a REQUIRED $60 book, I'd expect better service than arguments on something that she clearly didn't do. Oh, and the REQUIRED $60 book has a huge non-removable sticker on the front cover. Super annoying. read more
