The unique thing about the books produced here is the human voice on the recordings (as opposed to a computer-simulated voice). Volunteers go into a soundproof booth and read the original books aloud, recording themselves as they go. Since Learning Ally's members request books that they want read with a human voice, there is a wide variety of material. I learn something new pretty much every time I go in to record. I cannot believe how offended she made me feel when my parking space is farther than my apartment door which is out of my control as a tenant. Never have I been talk to the way Kelly did. Suite E18-1 is located in the back of this building of office suites, and it's really just a small, clean room with a computer, the two manikins, cleaning supplies, and security cameras. I parked in a visitor space in the front of the building, but you could probably also park in the spot designated for E18-1. I'd recommend reading all signs on the walls to situate yourself before starting anything and watching the short demos before each skills test. The adult, infant, and two person CPR tests only took me about 30 minutes (out of the hour time slot), and I was taking my time. Bag valve masks are provided for the ventilation breaths (no pocket masks or mouth-to-mouth). There is no instructor present, but you can call their office if you need more time or have any problems. Based on the sensors in the manikin, the computer speakers will tell you in real time if your compressions are too slow, fast, deep, or shallow or if your ventilation volumes are too low or high, so you can adjust immediately. It was comforting to know that if I didn't pass the skills test the first time, I could just try it again and learn from the feedback for areas of improvement. Overall, my experience was quick, smooth, and straightforward!

Everything is always clean, there are gloves and wipes if want to double clean before and after testing. Tissue or paper towels would be awesome to add, because I was sweating with my adult CPR! Very helpful when you're like me and wait until the last min to re-cert. The online portion is complete with the newest updates added from AHA. It took me about 2.5 hours to get through. The in class portion has no instructor but the computer guides you and provides you with real time feedback as you're doing compressions and respirations. Everything was pretty straightforward. My only issue is the mannequin is at waist level so I had to tip toe to get my compressions deep enough. I made adjustments accordingly but not sure if they would (or could) consider an adjustable table to help with this. Overall I'm glad I found Safety Training Seminars this time around. Thank you!

You have to come to this conclusion because every single time anyone has attempted to put a review up, Yelp has been taken down within minutes / days. That does not strike anyone as bizarre ? Ya. Its bizarre. And its Tell Tale of an organization that has more in common with the culture of Scientology than with a open and free society, where people can speak their mind about their experiences. The experiences here are that : A) FI is more or less Shark Tank where you pitch your startup to the room full of fellow students and invited guests for a review. B) ZERO guidance and assistance from FI with regards to your project. "You guys are really teaching each other" is the answer where you're put into teams of 4 or 5 where your colleagues vote you down and out in a Survivor like fashion. FI claims of its founders finding billions of dollars is false. You have a couple that succeeded by copying others. We call these "Me Too" companies. Which is what they're looking for. "Me Too" companies that can copy others and make some money. Long and short of it is that FI materials and methods are Toxic, Unfriendly, deceptive at the onset, and designed to take your money and leave 5 standing in a Survivor fashion, while they offer ZERO in terms of guidance, assistance other than having other applicants (Attempt) to help one another in groups they put you into.
