This store is such "a fresh drink of cool water" in an grocery store desert. Having opened a few weeks ago everything inside is so clean and fresh looking. The employees are super friendly with such wonderful manners and so helpful. Even the customers were super nice. The Southwest certainly has rest of the country beat when it comes to hospitality and being friendly towards strangers. If you are traveling cross country make sure to stop in here for a great selection of foods the help make the road trip more enjoyable. read more

We were traveling on I70 and stopped for Starbucks. The barista was great! She made excellent lattes. We also bought some fruit for snacking. I have to say that this was the tidiest, best organized and stocked produce department I've ever seen. Kudos!! read more

Although the selection is pretty weak, at least this Safeway has great prices and is staffed by some extremely friendly people. Beware, it can be pretty crowded on the weekend, and the old, narrow aisles can be dangerously packed. **NOTE** This seems to be a hang out for the locals, and there were people standing and chatting everywhere. While this must be nice for them, it drove this city-boy up a wall! read more

How hard is it to stock what people want?? Apparently this store hasn't figured it out YET! I'm so sick of finding something I like and then never finding it available again. This is the only real grocery store in town and they obviously don't care about customers. If another store ever opens they will regret it, as people will flock to any alternative! (I do because the problems are at the corporate level, the employees here seem to try.) read more

This is our only game in town...outside of the $ stores which have bread, eggs, milk and some pantry items. I believe the local employees do try to do their best with what they have. But it's not up to them....corporate tells them what to stock. They say the sets (what they call them) is being changed constantly without any input from them. They have no extra storage anywhere ....the aisles are always crowded with extras...it's a always a bandaid fix with what is wrong. Seems like we get leftovers in fixtures when a bigger store gets new. The tile on the floor is worn through to the concrete...what is replaced is a mismatched color. It's over crowded all the way around . Carts used to be inside...now they are stored outside.... They do have trouble finding help...seems like no one wants a job. I recently called about 9 am to see about a price on something from the meat department....no one could help me at that time because the guy was gone to lunch..he goes in quite early....they asked me to call back later... The laundry list goes on and on. The employees are always helpful and courteous to me. I think we are very ignored by corporate..they don't have to shop there. read more

This store is very cramped and I try to shop there as little as possible because it's dirty and you are constantly bumping into people because the aisles are so small. Milk, bread, eggs, and hamburger are consistently sold out. The cashiers are not friendly. I prefer to drive to Goodland's Walmart when I need to grocery shop. read more

Unfortunately this is the only grocery store in town so I have to shop here.. This store is old and lacking lots of products and once you find a product you like than they go and reset and take it away...Some of the employees are wonderful but there are a few who just dont care ...Wish they would tear it down and bring in a King soopers read more
