From being told they will not play phone tag as they are too busy, to not providing a list of prescription to now not being able to log into rx365 to access my prescriptions it just seems like they are too busy to deal with anymore customers. Reluctantly I will start using the mail service through my insurance as they are NOT too busy.

My vet prescribed two different pain meds for my cockatiel. This company was very fast in asking…read morefor payment but very slow (4 days from payment to receiving meds) at delivering the meds despite only being about 25 minutes drive away. I let it go since I was a new customer and they didn't have my credit card on file. As a second-time customer, this time waiting for two very crucial uric acid lowering meds, the shipping time left much to be desired again. They called on Wednesday while I was out of town, asking for payment. I authorized payment. They told me I'd receive the meds the next day - Thursday. I did not receive the meds until Saturday evening. That means my bird missed 5 doses of those crucial meds (2 doses on Thursday and Friday each, and 1 dose on Saturday morning). What's more aggravating is one of those meds requires refrigeration. It was packed with a small ice pack but because the shipping took so long, the ice pack was no longer cold, and the medication was room temperature. I called to ask about the efficacy of the medication and was told it was ok. Would they be honest with me if it was not? I doubt it. And who knows? Because between missing 5 doses and questionable efficacy, my bird passed 5 days after I administered the meds. I would never use them again and I'll request my vet use another company in the future. From my experience, this company is more interested in collecting payment first, and then taking their sweet time sending the meds. This would be fine if they were not in the business of helping to save animals' lives. I was out of town or I'd have driven to get those meds. Also, they close early and aren't open on weekends. I also gave them feedback that the volume of liquid meds is so small, their container so tall/large, and the syringes so short - shorter than the container, which makes extracting the meds into the syringe a challenge. Have these people even tried using their own packaging??

As someone with ADHD, it is so, so, helpful to have reminders from the pharmacy. I imagine that these reminders are also helpful to those who may be suffering from dementia, or just those who are busy/forgetful in general. All in all, a great walgreens and a great pharmacy!

I needed some vaccinations the other day…read more.. I visited Rite-Aid, and it was crazy, with a long wait for a flu vaccination and an appointment requirement for a COVID-19 vaccination. I searched for other pharmacies nearby and dropped into Medical Center Pharmacy, hoping they could accommodate me. In far less time than the wait I was quoted, they had me vaccinated and on my way, along with a quick discussion about why the pharmacy industry is so messed up. I wish they were closer to me; I'd move all my prescriptions to them. Kind, quick, and I don't leave feeling like I'd had my soul sucked out of me like I do at the national chain pharmacies.

I didn't get the name, but she sounded like an older lady and she was simply unnecessarily rude when I inquired about getting a Covid 19 test. At this point in time, I do realize that Covid 19 tests are de-prioritized quite a bit. If you wanna be vaxxed, you are vaxxed, the mandates are lifted, cases are down, etc. But just the same, my son has symptoms and a fever and so I called around to figure out where to get a test. Naturally, I called my "go-to" place to do this and was first told to go to the website to schedule the appointment. Okay, no problem! So I do that, and there was no options to do so. I clicked on "today" and it said there was no available appointments. So I then clicked on future days and it wouldnt even let me click on them. So I called back and asked what I am doing wrong, because while I understand appointments may be filled up for a couple of days, the inability to make ANY appointment for ANY point in time for the entire month was confusing. I was told, shortly, that "We do not do tests on weekends", and I responded with, "Yes, I understand that, but..." and was interrupted for the woman to say "I WILL JUST LOOK AT THE SITE" in a huff. So I tried to continue with what I was saying, "Yes, I understand you don't make appointments on weekends, but I can't click anything for the entire month of April..." and she snaps back at me with a "LOOK, I CAN'T ANSWER ANYTHING UNTIL I LOOK AT THE WEBSITE MYSELF". Lady? Are you having a bad day? Because literally all I am trying to do is take care of my kid and get him a test. I don't need your rudeness and I don't need to be snapped at for asking basic questions. 3 months ago there was all the resources we needed in order to get a test and now they are all gone because apparently everyone has put Covid 19 in their rear view. Try to be more patient with people who just have simple questions to ask. And if you cant handle it, let someone else answer the phone. "Alex", who I spoke to first, was significantly nicer than you. I hung up on you because I do not have time to be spoken to like that. Happily, I was able to find a test site. If anyone else is curious and finding nothing but dead ends, simply go to Providence Monroe. They will get you in for a test with no BS, no website seemingly created in 1996, and no appointments. Just walk in. I will think twice before coming back to Pharm-a-Sav.

The rep was nice enough but their policy was ridiculous. I had a telegraphy prescription I wanted to get filled - something that is increasingly common nowadays and is emerging in this cHanging business climate - and this pharmacy WOULD NIT FILL MY PRESCRIPTION unless the provider is going to "build a relationship with them" , which I have no control over, or if I was an established customer prior to COVID which I wasn't even living here. In the end they said they "can't just accept any old prescription from anyone off the street" will no sh*t who can?! That's not what this was. The telegraphy provider is licensed with both the state and the feds to write prescriptions and that's easily verifiable. Again, the young lady on the phone was nice, but her message was terrible. I had a request for a script they had and they refused to fill b/c they're apparently antiquated and resistant to change. I'm a world of big box pharmacies these guys are missing an opportunity to carve out a niche by working with the fats growing form of health care - tele/virtual healthcare and left me in a tough spot as a result when all I wanted to do is pay them. Amoxicillin is an oral antibiotic that you can buy over the counter in any apothecary in Europe and most likely Asia. I have a gum infection below a tooth & this drug would make short work of the infection. But not here in the U.S. without a prescription. That means you have to visit a doctor $$$$$ which may not be cost effective for many. We also found a lot of doctors will want to run a bunch of tests, most just to make money for the doctor and no help to you. Do a search on Drugs.com and you will see it truly is a generic drug. I picked Walgreens simply because they probably have more clot as they are located in a hospital. I did a search of Canadian drug stores, could spend a week and get no where. I am not sure if contacting your Representative would help, I never got a response in the past from any. Remember they are in the pocket of big business and they don't give a rats about you. I know, I tried in the past contacting our Representatives and our Governor, you know that guy that has warmed the chair in Olympia for 12 years, and now thinks he is ready for a bigger chair in DC. Don't waste your time with his office.
