Cashier is always decently friendly when checking out. Been using this walgreens since I moved to WA and they don't disappoint! But my favorite thing about this walgreens are the folks working the pharmacy. Very kind, friendly, and quick service. Pharmacy will call often to remind to pick up medication. As someone with ADHD, it is so, so, helpful to have reminders from the pharmacy. I imagine that these reminders are also helpful to those who may be suffering from dementia, or just those who are busy/forgetful in general. I am not impressed supposedly their Pharmacy is open Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.. at least that's what the sign in the Drive-Thru window says. However if you arrive between 1:00 and 2:00 the pharmacy will be closed. Despite these quite restrictive hours, this Pharmacy isn't even open when they say they will be. Otherwise this is just a run of the mill Walgreens. Obviously they have Staffing problems. read more

This is for the pharmacy department. Having just had a terrible experience getting vaxxed at the Issaquah branch, I'm motivated to give my local branch the good review they deserve. They are rarely swarming with customers, so it's usually not much of a wait (goes for the drive-through as well). The staff is polite and friendly; I have a lot of prescriptions and when something does go wrong (usually because of my insurance), they are very helpful in figuring out the issue. If you can give a zero or negative star review I would. Worst Photo dept I've ever worked with. I've been a long time Walgreens customer preferring them over Rite Aid, CVS, Bartells and others - but the Woodinville Photo and customer svc is the absolute worst I've ever experienced. No clue how to help and worse she (older lady who constantly talks over you) tells you things that are not true. I won't go into details but she abruptly told me she could not help and their system will not work with what I have - this after the 2nd trip and over 60 miles driving(was in the area out of convenience - what a mistake!). I then tried doing what I needed myself and in literally 30 seconds completed my task. She did not acknowledge or apologize whatsoever. I don't need an apology but it was obvious she had no care in the world with telling me she could not help and literally walked away mid-sentence as I indicated it can be done easily. She was Rude, Unprofessional, Condescending and didn't give me a receipt (after I alone successfully did what I asked her politely for help on) knowing her name would be on it and a review might happen. Horrible representative for Walgreens. The Asst Mgr was good however, but who knows if she gets the re-training she needs. Unbelievable. Btw - the 1st guy who dd the order was your typical 20-something who also has no clue on professionalism, also like her speaking in a rude condescending way, no care for others or his job let alone the co. This is easily the most frustrating pharmacy I've used, and if it weren't the only one around, I would have changed long ago. The wait time is always long. They have continued to cut hours and are now closed on weekends and lunch during the week. You know, the hours most people have available to run errands. read more

Literally the worst pharmacy I have ever used. Every time we need to pick up a prescription, it takes no less than 45 minutes -- after confirming it is ready for pick up. I don't understand what the techs are doing in the back while we wait but it's seriously a joke. I now rather drive 20 minutes each way to another location than use this pharmacy. read more

Thoroughly average. We went in here for a flu shot today, with appointments. We waited in line, noticing the signs that said "appointments only" for flu shots. Once we got to the front, we were told that they couldn't honor our appointments due to a staff shortage. That would have been nice to have on the signs. Otherwise, expect an overpriced selection of drugstore essentials and convenience items. The one thing this location has going for it -- it's clean, bright, and inviting inside. read more

They shut the window right in front of me and refused to given me my needed medication, extremely poor service especially in context of this time when we are all try to stay healthy. People's health should be more o a concern right now than it being 30 seconds beyond some arbitrary closing time. They have always been extremely helpful in the nine years I have had this as my local Walgreens, they've taken returns with no questions asked and have a good selection. Made appointment online for a flu shot using their app. Asked me to fill out paperwork in advance, which I did, but once I got there they said they couldn't use it and had to fill it out again. No big deal, but was disappointed it took almost an hour from start to finish. Honestly don't see what's the point of making appointment online if end up waiting this long. read more

I've been going to this Walgreen's for several years now. I've always had good relations and service from the pharmacists there, and they go way above to ensure I get the meds I need. I got an emergency early refill due to COVID-19 situation, and the insurance would only give the permission for several days, and they made sure it came through under the deadline. I was so relieved and appreciated that they got it all taken care of with no issues. For those people that complain, you may be asking what is beyond their ability to provide, and in the current situation, please cut them some slack, I'm sure they are doing the best they're able to. read more

Walgreens reminds me of home (NY) because all Walgreens look the same inside. It's oddly comforting and soothing to feel familiar as I walk down the aisles. I love that this store carries all my "drugstore" needs. Like today I was searching for a hot water bottle (every 30-something woman needs one, right?) and every other place I went did not carry them. I go to Walgreens and of course, they stock them! Walgreens, keeping the old lady in all of us satisfied! The real reason this store gets 5 stars from me is because they always have Russell Stover Coconut Clusters. I love those chocolates in an unholy way. I don't even care that they charge $5 for a tiny box of them, they are just like little discs of ecstasy in my mouth. I like the location of this store because it's on Woodinville-Duvall road, so every time I go to Woodinville I pass it. Thus, every time I go to Woodinville I end up getting a box of coconut clusters. Thus, every time I go to Woodinville I gain a pound. The staff are all very friendly and the prices aren't terrible. The only weird thing about this store is occasional methheads ruining merchandise. Example: today I also bought some steel wool sponges for my cast iron pans. I didn't check the packaging that close in the store but when I came home I noticed it was torn open already in a not obvious way. A chunk of the steel wool was either ripped or cut off, a habit I know crack/meth addicts do because they need a filter to smoke their drugs. In NY, they keep steel wool often behind the cash register for this reason, to keep drug addicts from ruining/stealing it. Such a sad world we live in. It's not really Walgreens fault, I should have inspected the package before I bought it. It was mildly annoying. I still love Walgreens and their ability to keep me fat by always stocking those yummy coconut clusters. read more

I am not one to review any place honestly, but this place has gone downhill. I LOVE Walgreens, and it sucks that there isnt many in the WA state but I was loyal so I found this one. In the past 2 years, I've had so many negative experiences with their pharmacy, that I just moved my prescription after 6 years on standing by. Their flu shot service is also terrible... they will say that they are available for you to walk in for example 9 to 5PM, but they stop at 4PM... just because they are tired (no joke - this actually happened). Their customer service is horrible, people at that place seem to be so unhappy and couldnt care less to help customers. Another example is I had a prescription refilled, and I went they said it would take an hour, so I left and came back after 2 hours, and still wasnt ready, therefore I left. I came back, and then they told me they were out of it. I can go on and on how many terrible experiences I've had. I just want to point out this is very specific with their pharmacy. I read more

I was a loyal Walgreens customer when I lived in Missouri, and I was very excited for them to open a location here in Cottage Lake! Pharmacy service is like night and day above the pharmacy I had to use when I first moved here, and I like that there are good deals to be found in the store for the coupon-minded. Employees and pharmacists are always friendly, store and facilities are always clean, and their prices on my prescriptions are considerably cheaper than that 'other' pharmacy. I haven't shopped very often at drugstores in the past, but I may start as I've been getting into coupons and they seem to have some great specials. I like this store as it is new, clean, organized, and conveniently located on the way to Woodinville when I'm out running errands. My husband got his flu shot here last year, which was very convenient as he wanted to do this after his work hours. I had a raincheck snafu as I received a raincheck for six cans of hairspray at the beginning of August and checked back once (and was told the manager would order them) and still didn't hear back. My hairspray coupons have now expired so I'm moving on with that. I like the Walgreens weekly sales ads, their monthly coupon books, and their loyalty card that you can use to load more e-coupons and specials. I look forward to more opportunities to shop here and try them out. read more

Employee D. Pettinger was either having a bad day or needs to not do check out. I came in needing contact lens cleaner and storage solution. It was on sale, and therefore out of stock. I asked for a rain check for 5 of them. She spent several minutes speculating about whether she was allowed to give me a rain check for 5. Then she phoned the manager to make sure they could 1) get 5, 2) save 5, 3) sell me 5. They could. She then told me the reasons they may not have been able to get me 5. Then she was frustrated because she needed the exact name. "I can't do it without a name! I need the exact name!" So she called another employee to get the information for her. Then she got frustrated because she couldn't read the other person's writing. She then wanted to confirm how much the product was. She called the other employee to go back and find out the price. "I NEED the price in order to do this!" During this time, she got more and more frustrated. She then said, "You know, if we hold these for you, you actually need to buy them." Lady, that's why I'm here. I'm not a kid. I'm your age. I'm here to buy them. You've seen my credit card. I have money. I can pay. The rain check, me spending 5 minutes with you instead of going to another store, my giving you my name, phone number, info, are all indicators of me -- desperately wanting to buy these items. She gave me the rain checks, then said, "We might call you when they come in." Okay. If not, maybe just send me a telepathic message then. Or, as the customer I could go ahead and check back every day, hoping you will sell it to me. Here is my experience at the Cottage Lake Walgreens yesterday, December 23, 2013. My purchase total was $9.77. I handed the cashier a $20 dollar bill. She gave me .23 cents change. I said, "I gave you a $20." She snottily replied, "No, you gave me a $10. The reason I know that is that I didn't have a 10 in my drawer, and now I do!" I told her she was mistaken because I know I had given her a $20. Wow, she was a bit**. She huffed at me and called someone up from the back of the store. She quickly left the cashier station. The "manager" opened up the cash register. Without looking at or speaking to me he started dumping the change from the register drawer and counting it. After 2 minutes I said," What are you doing?" "We have to balance out the drawer," he replied. "That's fine," I said, "but how about some eye contact and tell me what you doing?" Then he apologized to me and kept on nervously counting. To make a long story short, the manager indeed found the cash to be off by 10 dollars. The $20 bill that I had given her was in the $10 slot. There were no $10 bills. The cashier had mistakenly put the $20 spot into the $10 place. Walgreens treated me like they were certain I had just tried to scam them. I will never shop at Walgreens again.
