Been using this place several years. Cant speak to dog medicine but for human medicine they have been great. Since the medicine I get here helps keep me alive, and the service is always good, I'm giving an easy 5 stars. Also they recently have added a texting system to alert when your medication is ready. Thus many of the comments about poor insight into when your meds are actually ready are obsolete now. read more

Great experience getting a new prescription for my daughter. I was able to get all of my questions answered over the phone, the pick up was simple and safe (met with the staff outdoors), and they were quite a bit cheaper than other compounding pharmacies in the area. They are not open on weekends, but they also mail out prescriptions so I'll go that route next time. Definitely worth a drive to Bellevue! read more

This pharmacy reminds me of the older days pharmacies where the people actually take the time to discuss with you about your medications and how they are reacting. They even go above and beyond Huey actually stayed a little late so that I would have my migraine medication for the weekend, I am very grateful for him doing this as my migraines are mainly triggered by weather. I called in a refill which needed the doctor's approval on a Monday. I didn't hear from them by Fri morning, so I called. The woman who answered said it was being filled as we spoke (got dr approval Wed). When I went in to pick it up a couple of hours later, it wasn't ready. I realize this area is busier now, but your customers need follow up initiated by you. read more

As I said in my prior review: customer service is everything.I decided to update my review because a day after my wrote my review, the owner of this pharmacy contacted me. He was very polite and we talked a lot regarding what happened in my last visit there. I was not expecting that at all since the massive amount of managers/owners of business do not care to the reviews here. I explained to him what happened and I was very disappointed since I was a long term client. He explained to me that he really cares and always want to make sure his customers/patients are well treated and happy with their experience in his pharmacy. Compounding pharmacies are few and far between. Custom Prescriptions, located close to downtown Bellevue, is a great location when in need for a compounded prescription. The location is nice with plenty of parking. It is easy to drive into and drive out of, unless you're getting there around 5 PM and then leaving the complex is a little tricky with the amount of traffic. They have solid hours 9-6 PM, Monday through Friday, and I have never had to wait when picking up my prescription. There are a few inconsistencies. I have called asking for time frames on prescriptions and have received a few different answers. Then when they call to tell me to pick up the prescription it never is on a day that they estimated the prescription would be ready. The staff ranges from very helpful to indifferent. For location, though, I couldn't ask for anything better. read more

Aside from the fact how good they are at making medicine for animals, their customer service is exceptional. Always willing to answer questions, get the Rx to you ASAP, understand how important the Rx is so when I was late picking it up and they were closed but still inside they let me in to get the meds, and HUEY in particular is so helpful and remembers my pets' needs and quirks even though he fills 1,000's of Rx!! This pharmacy is unique and offers compound for scriptions that you can't find at other pharmacies. They sent my last prescription to the wrong address but at least they made it right once I notified them and they re-sent my prescription to me quickly at no extra charge. The receptionists they have working here should be retrained on customer service. Otherwise I think this is a great place read more

This pharmacy goes above and beyond to provide quality patient care. We have used them for five years and have had excellent service across the board. Recently we moved to Florida and faced trouble getting a prescription sent through correctly. Huey at Custom Prescriptions took it upon himself to contact the clinic and assist them in sending the script correctly so my husband could have access to a critical medication he needed without interruption. I get two prescription at Custom Prescriptions for my self and one for my dog. The only complaint that I have is contacting them. If you call and want to talk to the staff to re-order you can never get through on the phone. When you first call they tell you your call wait time but regardless you wait and wait. Had my first visit to this establishment today, and I will be back! I was sent here by the man at Juanita Bay Pharmacy (another compounding pharmacy that is fantastic) and I'm very impressed. It's easy to find, parking is free and plentiful. The pharmacy is sparkling clean and looks super organized. I called in my prescription to the automated line over a week ago. I still have not had a call back to advise when I might receive it. I have called back a number of times and I can never seem to get through their automated system, it just keeps looping back to the beginning. I want to talk to someone to know they will fill my prescription. For heavens sake hire someone to take orders and give us a real person to talk to! read more

Life saver - literally... My 17 year old cat got diagnosed with acute renal failure and we are trying calcitrol to treat the condition. Of all the compounding pharmacies we called (there aren't many) this one was a stand out. They were able to compound the medicine down small enough for our cat's consumption- not all could, the prices are fair- they gave us more doses for a better price, they offer shipping - which is always quick, customer service is excellent, and they flavor the medicine! My cat meow's at me as soon as I get home for his chicken flavored calcitrol. He absolutely loves it and he's a pretty fussy cat. His condition has improved drastically since starting calcitrol, and we owe it all to this pharmacy - Thanks so much you've got a customer for life. read more

The staff is great and they are very friendly and knowledgeable the only issue is that it takes forever to get a prescription filled. Since I have been going here it has taken longer and longer for things to get filled. Just know that you will wait about a week and sometimes get a phone call that it is ready to be picked up. Perhaps they need to hire more staff. read more

Overall, this pharmacy makes every attempt to give a high level of service. Their prices are reasonable, and though I've had a couple of issues with them in the past, they have always made it right...even going so far as to hand deliver my prescription. For a long time I have had issues filling a prescription that I refill every month. The staff offered no solutions to fix whatever issue I was having. Eventually, the owner of the store called me personally and we talked through my complaints. This pharmacy provides amazing customer service. I've been getting a progesterone prescription compounded here for 4 years. They went out of their way to create a special formula for me that does not contain soy. It's really easy to get refills from them complete with insurance documents to make insurance claims easier. They also mail refills, so I don't have to worry about a special trip to the pharmacy -which is great since I live in Everett. read more

The first time I went to pick up my prescription for my dog everything went smoothly. I asked if I could get 2 months worth the next time and they said "No Problem". They told me to allow 48 business hours and I said, "No problem". The next time I went to pick up the prescription they charged me for 60 pills but there were only 30. I caught it while I was in the pharmacy so they made it right, but I still had to make a second trip.The third time It took them over 3 business days to fill the prescription. The fourth time it took 5 business days (I called on a Thursday around 5:00 am and used their automated system and it was not ready until Wednesday. Wait I exaggerate, because I bugged them I was able to pick it up Tuesday evening). 15 days later I realize that the amount of pills in the bottle doesn't look like it is going to last for the full 2 months. I count them. Sure enough, there are only 30 pills left. They had only given me 45 pills but charged me for a full 60 days worth. So allow for a week to get your prescriptions filled. This is doable and maybe not unreasonable since they compound it themselves. But twice now they have given me less than the full amount and charged me full price. Yeah, I caught it the first time and they made it right. This time, it's Saturday morning and two weeks after I picked the prescription up. I don't know if it's an honest mistake (in which case what else may not be correct with this prescription?) but it is the second time it's happened. I'm going to talk to my vet and see if there is not some place else to get my prescription filled. read more

I have been disappointed by the customer service on two separate occasions. The first occurrence was when I went in to pick up my prescriptions, and unbeknownst to me they had separated them, so when I was home and opened up the bags, noticed things were missing. It required a return trip. However, the most disappointing situation was tonight, when I was racing in Friday evening traffic to get there before closing. Had completely re-arranged my evening schedule, missing an event so that I could get my prescription. Traffic was much worse than expected, so I called them twice on the phone to tell them I was almost there. I was literally 3 minutes from the store, and it was 6:00, and they told me I should return home. I was furious, after more than 30 minutes on the road, I had to turn around and go home, driving another 30 minutes in horrendous traffic. Very, very disappointed that they couldn't have waited 3 more minutes to allow me to pick up my prescription. I understand the staff wants to close on time, however, it would have made the world of difference to me, and not ruined an entire Friday evening. Now, I have to find time again to pick up the prescription, which is extremely difficult due to the lack of availability outside normal working hours. read more
