From the first time I went to pick up my prescription AFTER receiving a text notification stating it was ready, I was forced to wait close to 30 minutes because it was in fact not ready for pick up, to this month needing to confirm that my prescription was able to be filled because the pharmacist told me I may need a prior auth - However there is ZERO number you can call as a patient and actually get through to speak to a person. You are forced to share all of your private information with an AI chat bot and then once you've made it through all the AI hoops you have to jump through, the ONLY option for patients is to leave a voicemail to which you will NEVER get called back. As someone who works in healthcare with cancer patients who need a reliable pharmacy with decent human beings working at it I would NEVER recommend to one of my patients that they put their life in the hands of these lazy, rude, couldn't care less about patient people at CVS Pharmacy inside of Target on 2nd Ave in Seattle. PS... Lets not forget that simply based on the location any person who walks into the store et large is treated like a drug addled homeless person.

I have finally found my forever pharmacy!…read more I had been a customer of Bartell's for many, many years, and was bummed when Rite Aid bought them and more-or-less put them out of business. It took a long while to find a replacement pharmacy, especially one that would honor my insurance. (The latter bit ended up being surprisingly difficult!). Anyway, no problems transferring my prescription to their shop. Their staff walked me through the process and were very helpful. They honored my insurance, so my regular prescription cost me nothing (as it had at Bartell's). Staff was helpful on the phone and in person. I think a lot of people are transferring prescriptions to Katterman's since the pharmacy staff seemed slammed when I went in. But no problems, they took the time to help me. Only confusing bit: you pick up the prescription at a counter at the back of the store, where the pharmacists work. You then take it up to the front counter to "pay" for it, even if you have no co-pay. I think I understand the process now, but the two-step process seemed a little odd (since, again, I owed nothing). But everyone was helpful, so no worries! My new pharmacy! What a relief to have one, and for it to be a nice little local shop.

At Kelley-Ross Compounding Pharmacy they make drugs prescribed by doctors for specific patients with needs that can't be met by commercially available drugs. My vet prescribed two different pain meds for my cockatiel. This company was very fast in asking…read morefor payment but very slow (4 days from payment to receiving meds) at delivering the meds despite only being about 25 minutes drive away. I let it go since I was a new customer and they didn't have my credit card on file. As a second-time customer, this time waiting for two very crucial uric acid lowering meds, the shipping time left much to be desired again. They called on Wednesday while I was out of town, asking for payment. I authorized payment. They told me I'd receive the meds the next day - Thursday. I did not receive the meds until Saturday evening. That means my bird missed 5 doses of those crucial meds (2 doses on Thursday and Friday each, and 1 dose on Saturday morning). What's more aggravating is one of those meds requires refrigeration. It was packed with a small ice pack but because the shipping took so long, the ice pack was no longer cold, and the medication was room temperature. I called to ask about the efficacy of the medication and was told it was ok. Would they be honest with me if it was not? I doubt it. And who knows? Because between missing 5 doses and questionable efficacy, my bird passed 5 days after I administered the meds. I would never use them again and I'll request my vet use another company in the future. From my experience, this company is more interested in collecting payment first, and then taking their sweet time sending the meds. This would be fine if they were not in the business of helping to save animals' lives. I was out of town or I'd have driven to get those meds. Also, they close early and aren't open on weekends. I also gave them feedback that the volume of liquid meds is so small, their container so tall/large, and the syringes so short - shorter than the container, which makes extracting the meds into the syringe a challenge. Have these people even tried using their own packaging??

I've been on the same meds and dose for years but this is the first time a pharmacist has actually pulled me aside to check that I wasn't experiencing any adverse effects due to the combo of meds I'm on that increase the risk for certain cardiac issues. It's not that they weren't as busy here as other pharmacies, it's that they just care enough to take an extra minute out of the day to be sure they're doing right by their patients.
