Beware!!!!! I want to start by saying I had a great experience with this practice overall. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The location near Tanger Outlets provided excellent service, and the staff there was professional and helpful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Unfortunately, my experience with the orthodontist at the Beach Street location was very disappointing. I originally came in during May to begin the process, and it took until July 6 for the necessary materials to arrive. After waiting that long, my appointment was then canceled twice, which was extremely frustrating and inconvenient. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I planned my schedule around these appointments, and having them repeatedly canceled showed a lack of respect for my time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] After the delays and scheduling issues, I decided to take my business elsewhere. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I went to sage as a recommendation months ago and loved it they were kind and thoughtful thu my procedures and my last cleaning was my first cleaning in honestly I think ever[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] now she said I needed to come back last Friday the 24th and [[HIGHLIGHT]]she had to cancel my appointment and reschedule today no issue even though I had called off the whole day I un she had to cal out it happens[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and now today July 29th I go in and sit for an hour after telling them I'm their for my 3o'clock appointment and I get told to sit down and person after person goes by up till the receptionist probably relized I'm the only one still their sitting and she calls me up to explain that my whole profile in their system was wiped to my shock I was like oh no this is awful but then she found it so some how a second chart was made for me completely blank how does that happen? [[HIGHLIGHT]]The office staff were extremely rude to me saying I was a couple minutes late right as I entered.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They never sent me my new patient paperwork.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Then tried to tell me that I don't have insurance and that the marketplace doesn't even offer dental. I told them that's not true and they made me wait an hour while they called my insurance when it took me 5 minutes to get my insurance on the phone.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I had given all my insurance information to the new patient coordinator and the office didn't even know what I was there for.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They booked me two weeks out from my crown falling off then blamed me saying I should have been seen within days. They even told me that I had to pay for additional treatments my insurance doesn't cover just to be seen. Recommended a whole new crown because a small gap on one side rather than any type of repairs. After experiencing a horrible dental office that shall not be named this office was a breath of fresh air. Not only did they take care of me but they also took amazing care of both of my children as well (especially my son with ASD). They were gentle, explained everything so that we all could understand and were very clear with pricing and insurance. 1st time I went over a year ago, the dentist decided to change a good filling because she thought she saw a cracked. I accepted the procedure, but it was a nightmare after that. I was in pain, my bite was wrong, and they kept delaying to fix this. I called them for an emergency appointment and the best they could do was a week. I have bank receipts of my payments for what I was told I owed at the time of appointmens. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I called the office today and was told that on their end there is nothing owed because they show my payments received.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There are definitely bad billing practices at Sage. I have other friends who also received bills this week for they what was already paid, and/or Sage never filed insurance and 2 years later attempting to collect from patient. read more

I moved to Florida from Indiana. Found Sage Dental, scheduled an appointment expecting to go in and get a routine cleaning and reschedule for 6 months. I showed up 10 minutes early, ended up sitting in the waiting room for over 30 minutes, finally get back to the exam room and where they put together my dental plan, I had to schedule a gingivitis treatment, schedule a filling, and schedule a cleaning. In Indiana, all of this would have been done on the initial visit, because thats how efficiency works. I work form home so it was not a big deal for me to have 4 separate visits, however it was extremely inconvenient. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The office lady who checked me out after the first visit could tell I was frustrated with how they were scheduling me so many different appointments, and told me "I've worked at a lot of dentists offices and this is how they all do it".[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So i got my dental plan, that was 1 day, did the gingivitis treatment on another day, came back again for the filling work, was waiting for my teeth cleaning, [[HIGHLIGHT]]the day before I was to finally get my teeth cleaned, they called to reschedule me, I told them to have my xrays ready, i was finding a new dentist.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When my hair dresser wife went in for her initial appointment, taking time off of work, she was literally sitting in the waiting room and they cancelled her appointment, so when they called to cancel mine, I had had enough. So all of that being said, I found an old school super efficient office in Port Orange that will handle all your dental needs in 1 visit, contrary to whatever Sage says "everyone does it this way" if you don't want the runaround, schedule an appointment at Staudt Brothers Dentistry. read more

You can prove the scheduling of appointments the rescheduling of appointments the canceling of appointments and then rescheduling the appointments so it doesn't take 7 months to get a set of false teeth and I didn't have that to have any teeth pulled at all to start with. read more

On Jan 9, 2024 I went to Sage Dental on Beach Street for a cracked crown repair. X-rays were taken and the old crown removed. A temporary crown was made. I was told about 3 weeks for the permanent crown to come in. The information was never forwarded to the crown manufacturer. 4 weeks passed and I called to find out what was going on. They told me to come in on Monday Feb. 19. On Friday the 16th they called and told me the crown was not ordered. On the 19th I went in for the re-work. (At least 3 more weeks for the new one) By now the tooth started hurting. Dentist wanted to redo the crown scan before finding out about the pain. I left and went to my endodontist. I was advised I need a root canal. Never got the crown, even though I had paid in full. Now Sage Dental has refunded only a portion of the total cost. This is the second time they mishandled a crown replacement. Stay away. Stay far away. read more

Stay away from these freaks. If you are using insurance watch out. I went there under fully covered by insurance for a cleaning. Nine months later I get a bill for an "adjustment". Sage is claiming they only received $143 of a $173 bill so they're hitting me up for the difference. They sent me a bill and several texts, one on a Sunday, to pay the $30 difference. I called their billing department and told them the cleaning was 100% covered and they needed to contact the insurance carrier, they refused. I can take this to the State Attorney's office as I contacted my carrier and was told Sage Dental was paid the full amount, $173, months ago. These people are extortionists. They know they should go back to the insurance carrier but they choose to harrass a patient (not a patient anymore). Besides the rip off, their service is horrible. read more
