This was the New Smyrna Beach office. What happened to the customer is always right? What happened to just kind Customer service at front desk? This is what happens when companies get too big and don't need their customers or new patients. Not only did I watch a mother get denied coverage for a procedure already performed on her daughter in front of me, after I was spoken to so condescendingly and lied to as they made up fake state policy to try to get me to be quiet. They told me my state issued ID is not acceptable and only a drivers license is acceptable by medical state law. I missed a morning of work and making money for my family to be here Today. Still, they continued to lie and make me look like an idiot in front of other patients. To be flat out, lied to about what medical state policy is in order to appear right in front of your customers and make your new. Patient appear dumb and rude for simply stating my state ID is a state ID And does not have to be a drivers license. This is when company owners stop caring because they believe their reputation is already too good to worry about one little guy like me. read more

If I could give ZERO stars I would, I was referred to this place by a Dr Smilie on November 9 2021 and went to the office... I asked when can I get the tooth extracted and was told late December I said really but this is only going to get worse as the staff proceeds to tell me it's not a dental emergency... I called today November 29 and was put to n hold as I waited I hopped in my car and drove there and once in the parking lot I hung up... Nobody was in the waiting room? I again showed my referral slip along with my face that has begun to swell up the size of a golf ball and was told December 10th but I was told by both Doctors if it becomes life threatening and goes to my throat for me to go to the ER in Daytona??? I don't think I've ever seen or heard anything like this, if it becomes life threatening seek the ER I was turned away 2 times as if they refuse to treat my infected tooth until it's worse than when I arrived the first time... I feel they have a see us when it gets really really bad until then wait 2 weeks and if it gets worse go to the ER... Terrible it's like a 3rd world dentistry practice, I'll fly back to NJ see my dentist and fly back it will be faster... read more

Dr. Aziz is FANTASTIC! He is patient, gentle and caring. He explained everything in easy to understand terms, answered all of my numerous questions and checked in with me often during the procedure to make sure I was ok. Later the same day he himself called me at home to check up on my progress! And let's not forget the support staff...they are friendly and fun! Check the itemized invoice before you leave. I was mistakenly charged for a scan that I didn't have (most patients do, which is probably why I was charged, but I didn't need it) requiring the insurance claim to be resubmitted and partial copayment reimbursement. The visit I had before today was great. Today's visit wasn't much like the last one. It took two hours for a front desk receptionist to call in my scripts after oral surgery. I was in so much pain waiting for the pharmacy to get my script ready for me to feel better. I had my wisdom teeth removed and as someone who suffers from anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist, she made me feel the most relaxed and comfortable I've ever felt while in the chair. I am so disappointed with how I was treated by the staff at the Ormond location. The surgeon was absolutely wonderful and I am very pleased with how my daughters surgery went, but I was full of angst before she was taken back for her tooth extractions. My daughters father called to pay the bill before we got to the office, but fraud was detected on card so payment would not go through. The office woman told me to hang tight because he was working on it with the bank. After 20 minutes, I was told that payment wouldn't go through and they would have to reschedule. I offered my credit card and asked them to run that because my daughter had already taken the anti-anxiety medication that they had prescribed she take an hour before and I would not be able to schedule anytime soon. They were dead set on rescheduling. At that moment , the card they were trying to run had finally went through and they took her back, but there was absolutely no reason not to ask for another form of payment before asking us to reschedule. I appreciate the nurses and doctor who made my daughter so comfortable but the office staff definitely needs more training. read more

Dr. Aziz was phenomenal! My molar cracked vertically down through the root on a Sunday evening, and oh the pain!! Made several calls on Monday morning to get an oral surgery appointment. My own dentist had a 3 1/2 week wait, another OS office had a 2 1/2 week wait. SAI got me in in less than 48 hours for assessment. It was confirmed that removal of the tooth was the only option. I made it clear that I have severe oral surgery anxiety from a painful, complicated triple extraction 5 years ago where I went into shock and was under-attended. Dr. Aziz assured me that I was in complete control of everything that was going to transpire and we were going to communicate throughout the procedure, which also turned out to not be a simple extraction. I raised my hand when I needed more Novocaine or had to swallow, and both the Dr. and his assistant halted the procedure for this to be done, then back at it. With Dr. Aziz's kindness and patience I came through with only a little nerves and no tears! Dr. Aziz called me at home later that day to see how I was doing, and encouraged me to call him, on his private phone number, if there was any problem. I just had my 1-week check up and all was healing well. I was given a little PT of rubbing my gums to promote nerve healing, something no one else has ever even mentioned on my prior 9 extractions. I have a 6-week follow up scheduled to see how well it's healing. Again, no other doctor scheduled follow ups. I'm truly in the most caring hands possible with Dr. Aziz, and I highly recommend him and Dr. Ganne at SAI Oral Surgery for their TLC, advanced skills and education that allows them to give the best possible care to each of their patients. After visiting a big name chain dental clinic on Wednesday I was referred to Dr Ganne's office. I immediately left there upset, in pain and confused so stopped into Dr Ganne's office just down the street to familiarize myself with what I could expect during my appointment. The prices, procedures and paperwork etc. After speaking to the ladies in the office they had the Dr see me immediately, did a consultation and X-rays. The staff was all very courteous, professional and sympathetic to my needs. I was impressed that they were concerned about my level of pain and discomfort and we're not out to make additional work and money in my time of need as the previous place I visited. Dr Ganne made sure that I was on an antibiotic and pain medicine to get me through the weekend until I could make my appointment on Monday for an emergency extraction of a broken infected molar. They explained everything in detail to me and I left with no questions unanswered. I showed up 10 minutes before my appointment, didn't wait long to be taken back and seen. Once I was in the exam room everything was warm, inviting and the staff did their best to keep my relaxed and informed. I must say that I hate having any dental work done and I had major anxiety over the procedure but Dr Ganne and her staff are wonderful and did an excellent job of numbing my mouth and making the procedure as painless as possible. Nothing but pressure was felt, NO PAIN! These ladies are a great team and I highly recommend them to anyone. Dr Ganne even called me personally that evening to check and see how I was feeling. I can't give enough stars on here, 5 is not enough. This Dr and her staff are a 10 all day. Thank you ladies for everything. read more
