Unsurprisingly, my insurance denied the claim because it was submitted far too late -- despite being told the X-rays were covered. At my recent cleaning visit, I was blindsided with a $1,177 balance. The staff blamed a former billing manager and "negotiated" a deal: I'd pay $513 for the crown and not be charged the $664 for the X-rays. I paid the $513. Now, weeks later, they are trying to charge me the $664 anyway. This is inexcusable, unprofessional, and shows a complete lack of accountability. I walked out without my cleaning and will never return. Patients deserve honest, transparent billing -- not broken promises and decades-late surprises. After a thorough exam and X-rays, the dentist confirmed I had a significant cavity that required a root canal and crown. Needless to say, I was not happy. I was in pain having a hard time eating the office graciously rearranged their schedule and fit me in that very afternoon. From the moment I walked in, every member of the staff treated me with kindness, patience, and genuine compassion. They listened carefully to my concerns about my heart and never once made me feel like I was overreacting. Instead, they took the time to explain everything and adjusted my treatment plan by avoiding epinephrine because of my medical history. The doctor was absolutely incredible. When it came time to numb the area, I honestly did not feel the injection. I was amazed. Even without epinephrine--which I know makes the procedure more challenging for the dentist--he made the entire experience as comfortable as possible. I walked into this office expecting one of the worst days ever and left feeling amazed. The professionalism, compassion, skill, and genuine care shown by the entire team exceeded every expectation I had. I am so grateful I found this practice. I originally found this office through a mailer and scheduled an appointment. The office is small but appears clean. However, I noticed that even as the first appointment of the day, I waited over an hour to be seen. A staff member even whispered, "he is always late," which set the tone for what became a deeply frustrating and traumatic experience. From the start, things felt off. The X-rays took unusually long because the nurse couldn't understand why the X-rays weren't coming out, I guess she had a brain fart and realized the machine was pointed at the wall instead of my face. When the doctor did finally come in, he was cold and detached--not rude, but definitely not someone who made you feel safe, cared for, or comfortable. The root canal appointment was a nightmare. I arrived at 8:30 AM. The nurse casually advised me to start coming at 9:00 AM instead, since the doctor is "never on time." I was numbed around 9:15--but wasn't seen by the doctor until after 10:20 AM. I sat there in anxiety, shaking and staring at the wall, trying not to cry. Eventually, the procedure was done. They took impressions for the crown and told me to return in two weeks. I came back--the crown didn't fit. They took a new mold. Two weeks later--still didn't fit. Third time's the charm? Apparently not. It finally fit on the third attempt. But the relief didn't last long. Nine months later, while eating, the crown fell off. I returned and was told I'd need more numbing and work done on the tooth. I was devastated. I cried through the entire appointment. Once again, a new mold was taken. I returned--still didn't fit. Returned again--and it finally did. Fast forward to today, a little over a year later, I see a new dentist. I was horrified to learn that: 1. The crown still doesn't fit properly, and 2. The original decay was never fully removed. Now the tooth is too far gone to save and must be completely extracted. Thousands of dollars, countless hours, and immense emotional stress--for a tooth that can't be saved because of their negligence. I now cry when I call a dental office. I had to mentally prepare for weeks just to get basic X-rays done at a new practice. This experience has left me with real trauma--dental PTSD--and I'm actively exploring my legal options. I'm sharing this to warn others. Please don't dismiss red flags like I did. Just because an office looks clean and professional on the outside does not mean the care is competent or ethical. What happened to me wasn't just a mistake--it was avoidable, repeated negligence. Do better, Dr. Trivedi. People's health, money, and emotional wellbeing are not disposable.

On top of that they do ridiculous tests and x-rays that are not covered by insurance. For my child's visit: $115 for fluoride $46 for oral hygiene instructions $129 for a saliva sample (wtf?) $400 x-rays that are not covered And for the wisdom teeth to come out even though there are no roots and they are not affecting her teeth. Usually people do not say that they had a great time at the dentist, but I had a blast. The staff....each and every one of them were just very down-to-earth and kind. Not a frown in the office. I only waited for about 10 mins after checking in. The lobby was immaculate and smelled wonderful. Oh, what I loved too was that you park and the door is right there. No hunting for the location and wandering around like a mad person in this heat. It was very easy to get to. So anyway.... I was taken back to the room, which was not closed off yet private enough that I did not feel the whole office was looking in my mouth. His assistant (Orianna...I remember the Anna part..sorry girl) asked me what brought me in and I explained all of my concerns. She made me feel comfortable with being really honest with her about my issues. She took x-rays and was super conversational in the process which continued to help calm my jitters. The doctor came in and ran a thorough review of my mouth and my x-rays. All I know is, the last dentist I visited was not as detailed with a game plan on how to get me back to 100%. He broke everything down in layman's terms. I was able to understand the what and the why to get us to a final outcome that we both would be happy with.
