I have been coming to Sage dental when it Horizon One. The staff and dentist are very professional and courteous. However, today I went in for a deep cleaning. I sat in the hygienist chair. Before she numbed me up, I ask what was my out of pocket for today. She quoted me $388 for half my mouth and $400 for the second part. Keep in mind that I have insurance. Unfortunately, I will end my relations with this dentist. The healthcare industry has become a bunch of gangsters, all about milking the little guy. read more

Keep in mind I take my Wife and all my girls. Staff always on point with any issues. I tried to schedule a routine cleaning. they said since I was a new patient and we need to have x-rays and an exam before I could schedule cleaning. I worked with the front staff to get my records sent including x-rays so I wouldn't have to get them done again. I called to confirm that they had received the x-rays before my appointment . When I got there at first they said they didn't have my records. But they looked again and found them. Then I was told I was going to have to have another set of x-rays since they wouldn't except my previous ones since they were done six months ago. Keep in mind that insurance companies only allow one set of x-rays per year. They refused to even look at the x-rays or examine my mouth to determine if I even needed more x-rays. Give me a break. they are a total scam who surcharges for everything and i will file a complaint for unethical practices. i am not required to do a 4d print for an oral exam. let people know upfront of costs that your offices require for yall policies. i shouldnt have to pay for it as its not a necessity. Then to say its a law that i have to get a cleaning yall prefer is also false. If you are going to state that, please ensure that the laws are posted in the building with FL state code, or the federal law statue (im sure its not there). if yall are going to turn a free visit that insurance covers to something else, again explain that prior to the appointment. yall have no clue of peoples financial circumstances and if they were or are prepared to pay that. yall make up stuff to cover whatever expenses yall need. would go further by being transparent with your potential customers. i will never again do business with this establishment. This was our first visit due to an insurance change, which was frustrating, because finding a new dentist can be overwhelming.... To be honest, I was wary at first because the location was in a shopping center vs. being a stand-alone building. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in.....The space was clean and orderly and I was immediately greeted and was quickly brought back. The front desk staff were all very friendly and efficient, the dentist was very thorough discussing treatment plans, and the dental assistant who did the cleanings was very nice! Went in for a toothache. A very nice technician took an x-ray. Dr. came in for 5 minutes, looked at the x-ray and said I needed to see a specialist for a root canal. Went to my old Dentist in Longwood where I moved from last year. The Dentist checked and adjusted my bite. No more toothache. No specialist fees. No root canals. No more Saxon Dental. read more

This was our second appointment, yesterday being the first. Both my children were seen including myself. Staff was friendly, personable and kind. Everything is clean and the office is calm. Check in is simple and initial visit was through and informative. Got appointments for cleanings for my kids the very next day by chance and scheduled mine a week out. After bringing in and finishing my kids cleanings she was done early so they went ahead and did my cleaning as well. Very convenient and beneficial for me. The only negative is the rooms don't have a lot of room so my kid and I were crammed in the corner of the room while my other child got a cleaning and vice versa. It would be nice to have at least a chair in for a parent to oversee. Otherwise great experience for kids and myself. read more

Talk about a wonderful experience. The very best dental practice I've every been to. As a new patient they give you a gift, they give you a complete tour of the facility and meet everyone. If I could give Dr. Chen and the staff at Saxon Dental more then 5 stars I will they go above and beyond from the moment you walk in the door until you walk out. I went to the office 2 weeks ago with a number of dental problems and 2 weeks later I have the most major issues completely fixed, better then expected and for a decent price. I can finally smile after 17 years because of Dr. Chen's work he made me feel like I was his only patient.
