This place is so amazing As soon as you enter you can feel the high vibrations. My negativity became noticeable to myself! I instantly knew I needed some clearing work. I enjoyed a massage and reiki in their mind and body bundle by Hannah and she was so awesome! Sage Roots is a place I will continue to go to. After my first time there, I can't imagine going anywhere else. I was able to quickly book a 90 minute Ying/Yang Massage with Reiki. It was their monthly special and I decided to splurge. It was the last weekend in my 20s and I needed a #treatyoself moment. The night before my appointment, I received a text message from Ashley. In the text, it had the location's address and instructions to call/text her when I arrived. At first when I saw that it was street parking only I was nervous. Being from an area where "street parking" means "good f-ing luck" I was hesitant to book with them. But I'm so happy I did, street parking galore when I went and I'm happy that didn't deter me. When I arrived, I texted Ashley and walked up to the sidewalk. She met me outside, walked me through the gate, locked the gate behind her, and told me to go up the stairs. When I went into their studio area, I felt like I was home. I've recently moved to Texas and I have felt like a transplant for about 8 weeks now. Being somewhere that truly feels like a safe place, is... amazing and very much needed. Ashley asked me questions on massage preferences. I looked at the table and got a little worried. I'm chubby AF and didn't want the massage table to collapse, but it was perfectly fine (aside from a few squeaks). The massage was relaxing and such a healing experience for me. Even throughout the rest of the weekend, and even today, my body feels like I could be Jackie Chan's stunt double. I feel awake, alive, and rested. The reiki was just as good. I had never had it done before but have always wanted too. After the session, Ashley and I were chatting and she brought up things that she "felt" I needed and it was something I was actually wanting to do for quite sometime. She even picked up to where I was from, which was equally as cool. I thought it was convenient that you didn't have to bring cash. Cash only places give me a weird vibe. This space, this energy, and this spa was life-changing. While I have been on a spiritual journey for a larger majority of my life, I had never tried reiki. I found Sage Roots when Lauren Elyse started giving chair massages at my office. I instantly became a loyal client. Lauren is very talented at getting rid of the ever-present tension in my neck and shoulders and helping me de-stress in the middle of a hectic work day. Before each chair massage she has me inhale some scented oils which smell great. Lauren is a great listener; some days if I'm feeling chatty I'll initiate a conversation and she's receptive and friendly. But she also catches on if I just want to be quiet and relax. In other words, she lets her clients set the tone for the session. When a friend was coming into town, I decided to book us two full length massages with Lauren and her business partner at their studio. The place is a bit tough to find, but if you follow map directions you'll get there. There is plenty of street parking. The studio space is in the back of the main house with a separate entrance, and once you are inside it is very quiet and relaxing. The 60-minute massage is reasonably priced and TOTALLY worth it. A problem I've had with massages in the past is when the person spends too much time on a particular part of the body and neglects the rest; it's disappointing me and it prevents me from relaxing if I have to worry about telling the massage therapist how to do their job. I had none of these problems with Sage Roots. Lauren's time management and her technique were perfect; at the end of the 60 minute session I didn't want it to end. My friend said her massage was fantastic as well. I will definitely be back, and most likely for a 90 minute session! read more

I've been going to Sage Roots Healing and getting amazing massages and Reiki from Ashley since February 2019. I knew it was a super special place from the first moment I walked in and I continue to go there and deeply treasure each experience. I discovered Sage Roots Healing Studio when Ashley offered chair massages at my workplace. I loved the chair massage option and wanted to try a full massage so I visited the studio. Several months later, I am still a loyal customer. Originally, I had problems with my neck flexibility and pain. Several months later, my flexibility has increased and pain decreased. We continue to use Sage Roots for chair massage so that is a good option, too. Ashley listens to you and works with each client individually. She has a wonderful energy and great hands!
