Madelyn destroyed my muscles in the best way possible. Let me preface this by mentioning I did a tedious amount of research before choosing to get a full body massage with Madelyn. Since I'm high risk, cleanliness was my number one concern when booking. It's been a stressful year for us all between election, Covid, and just honestly all the crap from 2020 and into 2021 has already thrown us. I booked my appointment and expressed my concerns since I know it's also important to ensure any establishment like this would be comfortable given the health issues I have. Madelyn was so sweet and limited her availability before the appointment to ensure the room was safe for me and really just created a safe space from the start. Upon arrival, I started the consult saying I was basically a human knot and carry almost all my stress in my neck/back/shoulder area. When she started she goes "oh you weren't kidding." Lmao, NOPE. Ya girl is broken. She really got into all of my concerns and showed my muscles that in all actuality she is boss. I think she found knots in muscles I didn't even know existed? Will I be back? Got a massage from here a few months ago... Madelyn was really nice and pleasant but the massage wasn't for me. I'm used to getting massages where the massage therapist is more experienced with identifying pressure points. Based on reviews, this is what I had expected. While Madelyn was really open to feedback and adjusted the intensity of the massage, I was a little disappointed that she didn't seem to have better intuition with pressure points. Madelyn was amazing and I got the vibe she's one of those people with a true understanding of what's going on with you on the inside. As I've masseuse hopped I kept either getting complete pain/torture or too soft/not worth the money. Madelyn works to release the stress, but it's also the right kind of pressure and is relaxing at the same time. The location is kind of odd, so don't stress when you have to walk through other people's spaces to get to the massage room.
