Manager Perla provided exceptional support to address an invoice that I thought was incorrect. I sent in a question on a Saturday and she immediately called me, even though not at the office (apparently). Of course, it turns out that it was within my deductible so I paid it. Happy folks generally don't Yelp, so often ratings are low. I must be an exception, as I go to the company with complaints. Excessive billing surprise billing. I'm not sure why any Dr would use these crooks. Double the price of other labs. Beware

Excessive charge ($986.00) for four tests. I had the exact testing done a few years ago with another lab and they charged less than $300. Steer clear of this lab unless you have lots of money to spend. On top of that, their results were incorrect. I will NEVER go to a doctor that uses this lab. read more

Way overcharge. Was 3rd party charged $500 ( ohh they offerd a CASH pay discount of ( -405) so I was to pay $95.. for a 15-21 panel DT ( which I did pay) Really interesting that they charge $500... I assume that is the going rate they will charge insurance companies.... You can clearly see why Insurance is a scam and going up and you can see why the medical indsutry is a wreck in the US .. Google online yourself to review 15-21 panel DT... I did.. I also called anther LAB co - to inquire on cost... I call to dispute this becaue ( the Dr office I saw) made no reference to this - I was not told about a 3rd party charge/ fee etc... they were NOT helpful they referred me back to the Dr,... ok... I asked " but you can FLAG my account and make note- and you have a Rep at the Dr ofice that you can call as well correct ? " I was told "no, we dont do that " , I just need to call the Dr office... " this is what you owe" ... well okay ( customer " no service" ) TOTALLY scam on pricing ( price gouging) and lack of customer service... 1st time in a LONG time I had to write a negative review.. Most of the time, I just move on.... But in these times- money is tight for all, I think people need to read unbiased - truth and be able to make informed decisions about the vendors, services they render or use... Those who like me are on a MEDICAL SHARE plan and pay cash up front and ask for discounts --- deserve to be informed of all charges and fee's and not be priced gouged and then given a discount to make it seem like a generous discount. ( just deceptive practices).... Also for the DRs out there- looking to form partnerships with vendors, I would NOT use this one. Its not in the best interest for your patients... Find a partner/ vendor who has guiding principles, fair practices and prices. read more

I received a bill from Sagis that I can only describe as "excessive". My dermatologist sent a small skin sample to Sagis and I received a MASSIVE bill. One of the three charges was OVER FIVE times allowed under medicare billing. Finally, the majority of the Yelp reviews are one star. There are only four "5 star" reviews. Two of the good reviews were written in December 2022 by Jordan B and John C. Interestingly enough, they have two employees with the same first name and last initials. One is a "Project Manager" who was formerly the Marketing Coordinator and the other is one of the Founders of the company. I will insist that my dermatologist never uses this company again. read more

Horrible company. Totally unprofessional billing department and billing system. My first contact with them was a text in July demanding payment. I had never even heard of them before. There was nothing in the text to identify the service date or the provider that authorized the use of this company. Eventually I reasoned that if this waas not fraud this had to have something to do with my dermatology appointment. It was dermatoogist that confirmed they used this service. Sagis did not submit to my insurance company. They told me that in July when I was trying to find out who they were. In July they told me they were trying to save me money so they did not submit to my insurance company. Now they are telling me they did submit to my insurance company. They are refusing to give me the proper billing (treatment) codes so that I can submit to the insurance company myself. This company's lack of professionalism in billing makes me question their professionalism in the services they supposedly provide. If they are going to be unprofessional in the area of billing where there are checks and balances are it is highly probably that the company is cheating in other areas ere are no checks and balances. I will be changing dermatologists so I do not have deal with this flim-flam company again. read more

Like so many others, I've had trouble with their billing department. They sent me a bill with a Dallas return address on the payment stub. I mailed a check to the Dallas address, and the letter was returned to me. I called their billing department, and they directed me to mail the check to their new Houston address. So I resent the same check to the Houston address. It hasn't been cashed yet, but they have continued to send statements requesting payment with the same "old" Dallas address on the payment stub, which is laughable. Not sure I trust them at all anymore. read more

Susan Cupp is the billing manager and completely incompetent. I have been asking for months now for a bill & she either doesn't respond or provides a past-due notice. Money was withdrawn from my reimbursement account and she still refuse to provide a bill. I've filed a complaint with the Texas Medical Board regarding their billing practices. read more

I received services at Dr. Alpesh D. Desai, M.D., on 10/29/2015 and a specimen was sent to Sagis. Sagis got paid by my insurance on November 10, 2015. I just got a letter from Sagis PLLC at an address in an Dallas on 11/20/2016 claiming that they recently performed an Audit that identify that I owed $40.00. I'm thinking this is a Fraud, or if this is true Sagis needs to Protect their Customers info and, or change their billing practice. Sending bills after 1 year of service is not a good practice, and this Dallas collector has ALL my Info. Sagis does not have an office in Dallas read more

I waited 3 hours after the scheduled time of my appointment to see Dr. Desai who saw me for 5 minutes. He clipped a toenail to test for fungus, a test that can be performed easily and inexpensively in the office. I paid $250 on that day. Two months later I received another bill for $250 from Sagis for lab tests (which included "adjustments" down from $500!) Now I've received another bill from Dr. Desai saying I owe another $50. The next time you hear a discussion about what's wrong with the health care system in the US, think of this. Greedy doctors, greedy labs (owned by the doctors) and greedy drug companies. This is why our health care costs in the US are TWICE any other country. This is why they kick and scream about reform. They are stealing a fortune. read more

I utilized services by Sagis in January of 2014 through my work provided health insurance. After receiving the bill, it was paid in April of 2014, or so I thought. Now it is Dec 2015 and I've received a bill stating that they never received payment. To ensure it does not go to collections for a bill I already paid, I've wasted hours on the phone tracking down proof of payment since I can no longer access the account after leaving my previous employer. They need to correct their billing issues and I wouldn't be surprised if there are others who have received bills for services which they have already paid off. read more
