My boyfriend and I have been driving by Sagra Pizza Bar for years, always saying, "One day we have to stop here." Yesterday was finally that day, and I'm so glad we did! My son and daughter had recommended it for quite some time, and now I can honestly say they were absolutely right. From the moment our food arrived, everything was hot, fresh, and cooked to perfection. I ordered the Bistecca ($25), cooked medium, and it came out exactly as I requested. It was tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. My boyfriend ordered the Pollo Parmigiana with tomato sauce ($26), and we couldn't believe the size of the chicken! The portion was huge, especially for the price, making it an incredible value. It was crispy, juicy, and covered in delicious tomato sauce and melted cheese. A special shout-out to our waiter, Philippe, who was absolutely amazing. He was friendly, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. He took the time to answer our questions and helped us decide what to order, and every recommendation was spot on. Even though we were completely full after our meal, Philippe convinced us to try the Pannacotta ($11), and I'm so happy he did! It was light, smooth, and the perfect way to end our meal. Unlike many desserts, it wasn't overly sweet or heavy, and it didn't leave us feeling bloated. Overall, this was an outstanding dining experience from start to finish. Delicious food, generous portions, fair prices, and exceptional service. It definitely lived up to everything we had heard, and we'll absolutely be back. I have lived in North Miami my whole life and I always drove by this Italian restaurant every single day from the time they opened it up...I finally decided to give it a try this afternoon....and Sagra Pizza Bar is excellent!!!! The chicken Parmesan was amazing, it was so big it can literally feed two people with no problem. The steak and French fries and salad were amazing too, the fresh baked bread was so hot and delicious and our waiter Phillip was so knowledgeable and helpful with the menu, I just let him place my order for me because he was so trustworthy and he made me feel very comfortable. Anniversary Dinner Perfection Came here for our anniversary dinner, and it truly exceeded all expectations. It's a little spot off Biscayne Blvd that you might overlook from the outside, but once inside, every part of the experience feels so authentic. The service was incredible--our waiter took the time to explain the specials and made great recommendations for our first visit, which was such a help. The wine by the glass was phenomenal; the Primitivo red was excellent. We ordered the crab cakes, and honestly one of the best cakes I've had. So fresh and you can taste every flavor (comes with 2). For entree got a pizza and the bistec which comes with the house salad and frites (perfectly crisped) and a great portion. It's pretty affordable given it's in a residential neighborhood. There was outside and inside seating. We came on a weekday, so it wasn't too busy. We chose to sit outside. The patio is beautiful! Very clean and nicely kept. There was also some live music that wasn't too loud, but still a nice touch to the ambiance. The service was amazing all night. We were attended to frequently but not too much. The food was delicious! The red sauce for the pasta, pizza and the calamari was so good. It was fresh and made the entire dish. The pizza tasted just like they do in Italy! We were very pleased. We ended the night with crème brûlée. It was a little more pudding-like texture than others I have had, but it was still good. We all ordered a wide variety of meals, from fish to lamb to pizza, and each meal was delicious especially the octopus salad which unfortunately I forgot to take a picture. That octopus salad was by far my favorite. The service was also spectacular. They were very welcoming, polite and most importantly patient. I say patient because I know my family and they can take a while to order and another while to decided on what to order. The ambiance is pleasant. Sagra was my favorite restaurant. They had the best happy hour every day 4-7 pm. Buy a bottle of wine get a free delicious pizza. Great deal because the bottle was about $30. Returned for the great food and happy hour and found the wine bottle is now $60. No longer a great deal. I'm very sad and disappointed. I will miss their great food, service, entertainment. Our waiter was nice and guided us through their menu. The food was good- my personal favorite dish was the truffle gnocchi which is something i've never had elsewhere. They had a pianist playing all night which was also sweet and added to its appeal. The atmosphere is cozy and the nights aren't too bright. Its located right on Biscayne so its easy to spot and has its own parking lot free of charge. With that being said, even though we had a nice experience I cant say its a place i love or even that ill make an effort to return. if anyone suggests it i wont refuse going to but maybe not a place ill think of if im craving Italian. read more

The white cheese pizza crust was buttery and oily and soft and so salty and delicious. The cheese was a blue cheese similar I've never tried before. But I learned next time I could make my own pizza. This place is amazing! The pizza is obviously the star of the show, and we loved the texture of the crust. I don't think you can really go wrong here with which pizza you choose honestly. Orecchiette was great, would 100% eat again, but was not a showstopper like the pizza in my opinion. Other amazing thing was the octopus appetizer - generous serving of octopus, amazing flavor, perfectly cooked. Would get again. One note is that they were not serving liquor when we were there, so sorry no aperol spritzes! Really cute outdoor area, very friendly service. Old school Italian place. Feels like Italy where they are not the fastest, but it seems like they're trying not to rush you which is nice. If you're trying to have a fast meal I would say.... It's 9:15 and it's a full house. The chatter rises and falls as the rush of cars gets louder and dies down. The waiter turns out to be Argentine so I feel even more at home.
