Pho chicken calamari Egg noodle soup with seafood
    Elizabeth T.

Personally loved this this experience . My pho was good and I enjoyed the fried calamari, I will say the egg noodle soup wasn't as great as the other dishes . The inside is more of a hole in the wall vibe & the star was my server Ethan who was attentive and very sweet .

    Shrimp salad.

I went last night for dinner. Food and service was OK. However, also order Shrimp Salad To Go for lunch today. So upset when I opened the to go box, just now to see the salad. It was a complete disappointment. There were hardly any shrimp and the shrimp there were sliced in half lengthwise to make it appear like a full shrimp. There was maybe two shrimp in the entire order. Complete rip off. They should call this a cabbage salad with a sad shrimp accent.

So so good! I came here for lunch by myself while I was on the phone for work and everything was amazing. I was able to be seated right away and got to perusing the menu--I had a very hard time choosing. All the food tasted really fresh and the layers of flavor in all of them are so evident. The sauces for each of the dishes complimented them greatly. Any sort of ethnic food is a huge welcome to the Island and the area, especially when it's as great as Pho Saigon. Would highly recommend!

We were so glad to have found this restaurant. The weather called for soup and this restaurant has a ton of options. The hot and sour was pretty good but much sweeter than I am used to. It was still quite good. It comes with the lunch specials as well as a spring roll. The goi con here is pretty amazing. I ordered 3 on my second visit. It would be great to have just a few more greens and possibly a little less noodles. The sauce to dip them in was perfect! They also have an appetizer called Tiger Shrimp. Ohhhhhh my those things were so good. You could order 2 or 3 of those and call it a lunch. If you remotely like shrimp do yourself a favor and get these. There is a well seasoned onion that is cooked in with it. Crispy and delicious The other dishes we tried were all well seasoned. The portions were also nice sized for the price. I ordered my curry extra spicy and it had a decent kick. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Non-traditional, I would describe it as Vietnamese inspired with fusion that works and misses on certain dishes. The lunch menu is reasonably priced, with a spring or fresh roll and soup. I had the lemongrass chicken, which was tasty but spicier and saucier than the typical version. The chicken was sliced thin in odd rectangular pieces. It had the texture of chicken but not much flavor other than absorbing the sauce. I am guessing it is run through a meat slicer when frozen. This is the first time I wanted more rice from an Asian restaurant. It came with barely half a cup. The fresh roll lacked greens and herbs although the accompanying dipping sauce was fine albeit on the sweet side. The hot and sour soup was where fusion went wrong. It tasted more like sweet and sour egg drop soup. Not a version I would recommend. Located adjacent to the Verizon plaza. As with most businesses in the Hilton Head area, it is recessed from the main road so look out for the small signage. For take out, everything including the soup was well packaged to avoid spillage.

Update: We came back here and we had a same menu. This time my pho was good but my husband crispy chicken was not fresh some reason. Outside is too crunchy and that's taste like recooked fried chicken. Meat was very dry.

This is one of my favorite places, I eat lunch here once a week. The Pho is amazing! We always start with the spring rolls.

The Spring Rolls with the peanut sauce are to die for! The rest of the food was really good, but I could eat a dozen of those spring rolls!

The more I eat here, the more I appreciate their food now. I'd say it's the only best asian restaurant bluffton has to offer.

    Do they serve bubble tea?

I don’t think they do? It would be a good suggestion. It is an authentic Vietnamese restaurant.

Eat Tea is on the side with Jersey Mike's. There is a small amount of parking on that side. The service is excellent! You can order on one of the iPads if you are in a hurry or in general. But the staff are happy to take your order as well. The menu is vast. There are many types of teas, bubbles, add ins, foams and more. I tend to try a new tea when I go in. You never know what you like until you try something new! I love the fresh fruit teas. Yes, they do use actual fresh fruit. I'm not a fan of very sweet teas. Generally I will get mine half sweet or unsweetened. It depends on the tea. Just ask the staff about the level of sweetness if you want to know. They also have fresh mochi and crepe cakes. I have not tried the mochi. But the crepe cakes I have tried were delicious. There are a few tables inside the restaurant. It is not meant to seat a lot of people. But it definitely can fit a few comfortably. There is a bathroom in the back down the hall. I continue to go back to Eat Tea. They have great teas in a convenient location!

Hi Everyone, Ya,…read moreknow, maybe you don't feel like bagging your lunch today, or making diner tonight, but you've got to eat! What ever will you do? What type of food do you want to eat, now or later? Questions, questions, those nagging questions. Well we here, in the peanut gallery, may have a solution for you today. If you enjoy eating Sushi (Japanese cuisine, in which raw or cooked fish can be inserted into or be placed a top a rice roll with other ingredients). Now I thought that Sushi was ONLY raw fish (which I know you knew, but I didn't, lol), and Sushmi which I thought was actually only cooked fish inserted in, or a top a rice roll, with other ingredients, such as seaweed, cream cheese, imitation crab (I.e. pressed white fish) etc... But, bust my buttons, Sushmi is actually Hindu female name, not a name for Asian cusine, which means welcoming or pleasant, (which I know you knew, but I didn't, lol), but I digress, along with some other Chinese classics then we can highly recommend you visit AKOMEYA right here in Bluffton, SC. Why? Because my friends, their food entrees are actually very savory and delicious treats. Their ambiance is inviting, neat, and clean. Their Servers are friendly, personable, and helpful. Their prices are affordable, that's right, as in, most of us can actually afford to pay for them. For instance, they offer four lunch (ONLY) Chinese meals that are relatively healthy as prepared with a delicate balanced of ingredients that are tastebuds delight. And yes, Jethro, them there "viddles" will fill your belly and keep you a comin back for more helpins! But for how much? $10.00 per entree. Now that them their is an affordable price for lunch, even for Jethro da Bodeen. Their diner menu offers many delightful and tasty tantalizing entrees as well which we have also have enjoyed multiple times. So if you have a hankerin for some good viddles like our man Jethro, it's time to get on down to AKOMEYA and git sum. BTW, Akomeya is also a specialty rice shop with locations at many major train stations in Tokyo. Although rice is their main focus, they also offer an impressive selection of kitchen goods, condiments, and snacks--making it a must-visit for cooking enthusiasts or anyone in search of thoughtful, Japan-made gifts (which I know you knew, but I didn't ). Enjoy!

We walked in and the was ONE table of five in the whole place. Should have been our first sign…read more The service was the WORST I've ever had! The server asked once if we needed drinks. Never asked again. Then I asked for a glass of water and she didn't say a word. Just turned around and got it. Brought it back and just sat it down and walked away. We ordered two sushi rolls and she didn't bring utensils to eat it with. I had to find them for us. Then my wife wanted a little bowl for soy sauce. I had to go find it because our server was no where to be found. She had an attitude about anything we asked for. I'm not joking when I say it was the worst service I've ever had. Needless to say the tip wasn't what it should have been or could have been. Now the food? Awesome! I had the hot sand sour soup (one of the best I've ever had), we had two different sushi rolls. One was the Akomeyea roll and the other was some tuna roll I didn't eat. The chicken low mien was very good and plenty of it. I gave it 3 stars because the food was very good. If we ever decide to get dinner here again it would definitely be to go. No way would I eat in the restaurant again with service like that and as empty as the place was. I get why it was like that if all the service is like that.
