So many food, dessert, and drink options on their menu. Service was friendly and quick. I ordered the bbq pork sandwich and my husband did the grilled chicken. I loved mine! The bread was perfect, the pork was flavorful, and the added veggies were a perfect balance. I also ordered the Saigon iced coffee. The pork was fatty and covered with a heavy blob of mayonnaise and pickles, while the vegetables were sparse. I've had many Vietnamese sandwiches before, but at this price point in Lowell, the quality does not come close to what you find in the greater Boston area. Saigon special banh mi combination is always my go-to- this one had a nice crunch from the bread but chewy inside. This one has pate, head cheese, and roast pork in addition to the usual toppings plus a little deseeded jalapeño. I also ordered the special Saigon che - it was bigger than I expected! It came with a ton of goodies - red bean, pandan jelly, grass jelly, and coconut milk. It was on the sweeter side so I actually crushed some ice to eat with it since I ordered it to-go.
