We were completely satisfied with the customer experience and the final product the first time around, so when we needed shades for another room that we were sprucing up, we knew without a doubt that we wanted to go with A Blinds again. Both times, when I called for an estimate, they promptly scheduled an appointment to come out and meet with us. They showed up on time, brought some samples and pictures to talk us through the various options, and took measurements. They were friendly, listened to our needs and preferences, and were eager to ensure that we would be pleased with the product and that it would achieve the lighting and shade goals we had for the space. They told us it would be 5-6 weeks to receive the custom-sized shades after we ordered, and they came in exactly in that timeframe. After meeting with a few companies we chose A-Blinds for the sense of attention to detail and their unique products that we hadn't seen anywhere else. The motors ended up being back ordered, but Jae kept us in the loop and worked hard to rush the order while we were still in town. They were also able to fit us into their busy schedule, which we really appreciated. Communication throughout the process was excellent--responsive, professional, and easy to work with. The long wait times (to be expected) between order and installation left plenty of time for me (the house owner and the one who paid) to be informed that a different blind was selected. That was not communicated to me at any point. When the installation team came out is when I found out that it was not what I wanted. Where I have an issue is Kawika pointed the finger at the person present at the consultation for choosing the blinds. He has my number. He has my email. He did not at any point reach out and confirm with me, who set up the appointment and made the payments, the selected blinds is the one I wanted since it was different from what was selected during the consultation. To give credit to Budget Blinds, they have been professional the entire time with a fast install time. When I brought up the issue, Kawika did offer a steep discount. Its the principal of communication in this instance where I have the issue. This is a $5000 mistake that could have been easily rectified if the Budget Blinds team reached out to me to confirm what I actually wanted.

Signature Shades installed a remote feature for us... and get this - they even put a solar panel on the motor so we wouldn't have to change out the battery on the motor every 6 months (cause we wouldn't be able to reach to change the battery).
