After you pay the for Basics course, the new sailing book will be mailed to you. Also, start taking online course, it will help you with basics. Day 1. You learn theory and terminology (about an hour) then you go directly into the water and practice, practice, practice. There were only two students on the boat, I got impression 3 are the max. From 10am till 12pm you learn basics on the water, have lunch, then go back to the water until ~5pm Day 2. Repeat basics, go to the water, learn new stuff, lunch, go back to the water repeat+ learn new movements Don't forget to go through the book before the test! Day 3. Repeat, ask instructor questions that you have, take the test, go to the water and get new tricks! Overall: 1) for non native speaker it might have some light difficulties with terminology, but overall it is not too hard to get it. For native speakers it is easier 2) Spend some time on learning basics online! It really helps. 3) it is fun! SO relaxing to sail. It is a new way to spend your weekend, just imagine having a picnic on the water. Perfect present for your significant other. 4) learning new thing is always encouraging The activity you want to try with no regrets. Julian, the owner and your instructor, knows a lot, treats you with the respect, very professional and knowledgeable. You can't find the instructor better than him. I will be back for more advanced classes for sure!

WOW!! Absolutely THE BEST and exceeded our expectations…read more My family and I just returned from a 11 day vacation to the Pacific NW (me, my wife and our 3 teenage kids). Our Sunset Cruise on the Far Niente was everyone's highlight of the entire vacation. Derek and Judi are the ultimate host and hostess and we were pampered from the moment we met Derek at the dock. It's clear that they truly love to entertain and seem to have as much fun as their guests. Their attention to detail is amazing. The food and presentation were incredible. So much variety and all absolutely delicious. The experience on the boat was perfect--great views of Seattle, the ferries and then anchoring near Bainbridge Island. Our experience on the Far Niente Sailing Charter will be a memory that my family and I cherish. We LOVED it!!

None of us had ever been sailing before, and we all agreed that this was a great first experience. A sail in the Sound was added to our bucket list after moving to Seattle just a few months ago, and I'm sad about how quickly the evening went by! Derek and Judi are very warm and welcoming, and really do think of every detail for the evening. We greatly enjoyed the appetizers and large selection of drinks on the first leg of the trip over to Bainbridge Island. Also, Derek's music selection is great! :) I was surprised at how chilly it got once the sun went down, despite the air temperature being in the mid-80s, so I would recommend bringing a sweater or light jacket. They did have a handful of cozy blankets onboard, which was great. Overall, we would highly recommend booking a sail with them!

There is one bathroom and two changing rooms with lockers within the changing shack. We did add rose petals and eucalyptus Epsom Salt The boats run well and had no mechanicals issues whatsoever ever. You feel very stable and secure within the boat. There is room for for 6 adults in one boat, how we husband and I both noted it would have been as comfortable with two more people (we only had 4 in our party). 4 adults allows you to stretch out comfortably so nobody is impeding on another's personal space. We went 8-10pm and that was amazing because we had lots of daylight and then a gorgeous sunset decide floating back in, in the dark. The boats have blue light strips and that looks nice at nice! Great choice for out of town guests to experience the beautiful weather, sunsets. Extra long summer evening and a scenery with a fb post :) This business is consistently a guest fav Very unique. We recently booked Hot Tub Boats with our friends for a triple date day out, and we had a blaaasssttt! I was the only one of us out of six who had done it, so it was so fun getting to introduce them to Hot Tub Boats. Upon arrival they asked if it was anybody's first time, and as mentioned it was, so they gave us a 10% discount and free epsom salt soak which was so nice of them and totally unexpected. They got us back into the locker room quickly to pack up all of our stuff and get ready to head to the boats. After a quick safety demo we were out! It's so fun to bring along some snacks, refreshing beverages, and hang out on the lake on a nice day with friends. It was so cool seeing several sea planes landing and taking off! My only complaint is that two hours on the boat goes waaaay too fast. But that just gives me an excuse to book again. :) 10/10 do recommend checking them out if you haven't, it's the perfect day out!
