My Sister-In-Law found Hank on Facebook and we are so happy she did! This is one of the best excursions I have ever experienced. The crew picked us up at the designated dock, which was very easy to find. Once on board we were given some instructions on safety then we sailed off on a beautiful thirty-eight-foot sailboat. Henry, Hank's son, was our guide for the trip. Henry kept us entertained with stories about Ricky Martin's (wink, wink) house, why the water was the color it is, what the white sand was made from, and more stories as we went on a brief tour of the lagoon. Next we headed out to the shipwreck, a shrimp boat that had gone down in a hurricane. The shipwreck was a nice setting to see a variety of colorful fish. We enjoyed this snorkeling adventure. After the snorkeling adventure we headed out to the bay for the Wing Diving. Wing Diving was so much fun. We had a group ranging in age from fifteen to sixty-one. Henry explained how to hold the board and how to maneuver the board to dive and surface. Everyone in our group was easily able to follow his instructions and Wing Dive. What an amazing feeling it was gliding through that beautiful clear water and watching the white sand and occasional fish pass by. As I said before, this was one of the best excursions I have ever experienced. What a thrill it was to get to sail on such a beautiful sailboat and experience the great snorkeling and awesome Wing Diving. This is an excursion we will be signing up for many more times in the future Thanks Hank it was AWESOME!!!!

Very relaxing. Loved the sailing. Beautiful sunset. Sailing at sunset was highlight. We sailed to Punta Sur. We stopped to snorkel on the south side. We tried wing sailing. The crew was very friendly, and knowledgeable. We enjoyed talking with them. They were very accommodating grabbing our drinks and food we brought and they had a speaker to play our music. We loved the photos!! We would give the sailing experience 10/10! Great price for a wonderful experience! Highly recommend!

The weather for this excursion prevented us from going snorkeling, so they just let us cruise in the fast boats for 2 hours thru the marinas, bays, shorelines and mangroves of Cancun. So much fun. Alex our guide did a great job, even though one of our boats in the party suffered a propeller malfunction, they replaced the boat quickly and made up our downtime. Great time, and will do it again.

We spent the morning getting ready for our noon tour, then took the bus to the location. Through a bit of overzealousness on our part, we arrived 45 minutes early, only to find out the tour was cancelled to do...maybe the wind? The boats and snorkeling weren't possible to go out. A few of us cancelled, but some decided they wanted to still do the trip the following day (our last day), but we asked them to please notify us in case it was cancelled beforehand so they didn't have to take another bus ride for no reason. I emailed the morning of, because of the strong winds all throughout the night. I did receive an email back, saying they hadn't heard if the tour was going to take place but I'd be notified in case of something had changed. Welp, those that were going had no choice to leave and hop on the bus for their tour...only to find out, the snorkeling part was cancelled, but they could do the boat ride if they wanted. Since snorkeling was their main reason for going, they decided to cancel. It would have been great to know this before hand. The refunds were processed pretty promptly and we were grateful for that, but it's a shame there wasn't much communication that wasted time (and money) that could have used for something else both times.

This was a blast and EXTREMELY worth the value. We paid $188 USD for two people (all inclusive…read morepackage). This included: cruise to snorkel area, snorkel equipment, 20 min of snorkeling, cruise to the island mujeres, golf cart rental on the island for a hour or so, and cruise back to the dock WITH lunch and unlimited booze. The lunch was great and they give you decent portion sizes with appetizers. There was great music, wonderful entertaining staff, and fun guests on board. The snorkeling part is very average and the reef area they show has pretty much all died unfortunately. If you've never ever snorkeled before I guess it's okayish. There's also a fun water slide and diving board. The total tour is about 7 hours from start to finish. I originally found this activity on TripAdvisor and it had great reviews. Here's the weird part - on TA it says "a tour of the ruins is included". It never happened. I'm not sure if they advertised wrong on there or what but we were kinda bummed about missing that. Overall great activity and I will definitely be back next time we're in the area. TIP: there's an additional $14 USD "port fee" that has to be paid CASH ONLY when you check in. This is great for all ages and group sizes. They make you take everything off the boat when you leave to tour the island so bring a small bag or back pack. Dry change of clothes was nice to have too.

But the drinks weren't quite as good as before. But, As always, the ceveche was wonderful... I'd love to buy a couple liters para llevar. The crew & chefs were fabulous. Again we skipped the snorkeling but that is kind is a zoo and a lot of work.. Plus, we'd already entered the party mode. The only negative is they use CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP liquor. What they call "tequila" isn't. No nom number.. The bottle called it "Licor Dr Agave"... 28% alcohol.. Which could be anything. No telling what the run and vodka were.. Maybe something else that they brewed up in their basement. This was our third trip.. We hope the beverages improve for our next trip.

They were extremely knowledgeable, friendly, funny, safety oriented & made an effort to make sure that all guests had an amazing time. My group had just missed the ferry (coming in from Cancun) and they still accommodated us & made sure we made our reservation when they had no obligation to. Not to mention they were extremely responsive & easy to communicate with during this whole fiasco. They brought us to absolutely stunning locations & I have never swam with as many schools of fish as I did during this tour. Jesús was even willing to help me get a closer shot of the underwater statues. They educated our group on best practices to preserve the reef (which I already am aware of, but appreciate for the less-informed) & stopped the boat when a plastic bag got caught in the wind so that they could fish it out to reduce on ocean plastic (I am very keen on leaving as little of an impact on the world we live in). We were served sandwiches / ceviche + totopos for lunch and water / margaritas were provided. Their thoughtfulness, mindfulness & willingness to provide the absolute best experience truly outshined any excursion I have done in the past. Their service is truly unparalleled. Would highly recommend - thank you for the amazing experience!!

Ended up being around $45 per person. Seems like the reviews are more favorable on TripAdvisor. It started off a bit disorganized at first, but we finally started boarding and ended up stopping by three different reef spots along La Isla Mujeres. The current were strong but we had two guides looking out for us and taking underwater pictures for us (still pending). Boat included bottled water, margaritas, and tequila. We made sure to tip well. Lunch was included in the price at Playa Tiburón, which took place after all the snorkeling (thank goodness). Coronado fish, veggie slaw, rice, and butter spaghetti, corn tortillas, spicy sauce and salt. Our guides helped with prepping and serving lunch. Overall, we had a fun time with Island Adventures Mexico!
