Mum contacted several alteration companies recommended by Lady G, was told dress would need completely remade and would cost about £400. If we were told that prior to purchasing wouldn't have bought the dress as it was already expensive. No refunds given. Horrible way to treat people especially when it comes to wedding outfits for mother of the bride. A huge day for someone lady g completely ruined experience. Took Lady G to court and won the case! Managed to get all money back, and sell the dress online and money for that too. Avoid at all costs!! Awful customer service and very cheeky!

The store holds a good range of womans clothing from jeans, dresses, jumpers etc. They also stock mens clothing on the second floor again selling jeans and t-shirts etc. They also stock a variety of shoes, belts, bags etc. It is a better size compared to its own store and it does stock plus sizes which is good as the clothes are more fashionable. The value is okay for the quality. All in all a good shop in East Kilbride.

The store is in an excellent location in the old Co-op location and provides access to the upper levels through stairs, escalator and lift. The downstairs can tend to feel somewhat cramped and therefore awkward to negotiate with a wheelchair or pram but the staff will happily move units to accommodate the additional clearance requirement. Staff here are always helpful and pleasant, the store is clean and tidy. A well-needed example of how to run a successful store.

In saying that, compared to most other alternative clothing outlets I've encountered during my Yelping days, this appears to be fairly timid fare, concentrating more on the emo side of things as opposed to, well, leather catsuits, crotchless pants and the like. It's a friendly enough little shop and prices seem reasonable, with a bargain box holding a range of t-shirts lying in one corner. All black, of course. Again, to my untrained eye I would suggest the stock tends to gear more towards the emo kids who figure they might not be emo kids in a few years, as opposed to those who are in it for life. Before I was allowed to venture into town I used to come shopping at East Kilbride with my friends and we would often browse round Quiz. It was particularly good if we had a Christmas school party coming up and the clothing was a little bit more trendy than Tammy in Etam. Nowadays when I walk by quite a lot of clothes in the window look like they wouldn't go amiss in the windows of Ann Summers. However I did see a nice body con skirt in Quiz a few weeks ago, it was only £14.99 and I was tempted but when I tried it on it had no shape and the fabric didn't look like it would last a wash. No matter how classy they try to make themselves they are all essentially up market sex shops. Whenever I see the red silk slips and the lacy thongs with suspenders I just think of one of those cheesy old movies where the femme fatale announces that she is going to "slip into something a little more comfortable." Oh dear. I don't know why but these shops just make me cringe beyond belief. This one is right in the middle of Clarkston, right next to the ice-cream shop and the primary school it just sticks out like a sore thumb and seems really inappropriately placed. The last thing you want is to bump into your neighbour walking his dog while you step out with a pair of suspenders. I'm personally not into this kind of thing but I guess it does the job for people who are.

The changing rooms are a little small but they are tucked in so that no-one ever need see you trying on your bra. Some of the bras are very pricey but the others are the same as buying in Debenhams, with a much better service. If they don't have your size they will order in for you. Once being fitted (and they suggest a quick check before buying any bra) you are shown a selection of styles and prices, and never forced into buying the dear ones!! Highly recommend for a decent fitting- it makes all the difference.
