As a person that graduated from this school i'll say the school was horrible not because of the…read morestudents or teachers, its because of the school and other staff members. Its so weird coming in the morning to breakfast and have a women all up on you, telling who "get out of the cafeteria you been here for so long" mind you im there for 7 minutes. Its like the world is going to explode or something. Not only that but through the year i saw ROACHES and the teacher were telling me "oh there just beetle" Cause they know damn well those are NOT beetles those are roaches. Second of all the food. So ive been noticing every single time i look at the lunch menu its not the same as the food they be serving to us. Well i just found out that sometimes they be running out of food and they have to switch the food last minute. Which is fine to me cause i dont really care, its not like they feed us weird stuff everyday but the lack of food they be giving us is so bad. Wdym 4 chicken nuggets is going to fill me up. Im a 8th grader im suppose to be eating more than that. Another thing the recesses time NEEDS to be studied fym 10 minutes of recesses time is "enough". Not only is the school is buns and tiring, the only thing in return the school gives us is "10 minutes of recesses" which is sad. Also props to the teacher for handing kids bs cause every single time when the teacher writes them up, the school doesnt do nothing almost as if they dgaf. Their more scared of ruining their reputation then expelling a horrible student. Also another thing everytime when we have a day off on keystone THEY ALWAYS have to replace it asynchronous, Mind u the school forces us to do homework, bookreport and on top of that projects. Which is straight bs. Another thing i feel like the kids who has autism should be treated better cause if you didnt know the staff LOVES to shove them into a room destroying everything until "they calm down" which last HOURS. This school is a mess and im not finished yet. Also im so confused... the school is against ai but yet the vice principle letters are 100% ai? Doesn't make sense bae. Another thing.. Bathrooms tell me why there isnt a day where if you stay in the bathroom for too long you'll get kicked out. Which is fine if your playing around but most of the time people just get in and get kicked out pretty quick. We even used to have bathroom breaks and got taken to the bathroom while were like what in 8th grade? I think 8th graders are capable on going by themselfs. Also im saying this from experience dont trust all the councilors or any staff members. Im not kidding with you last year Ms. Tasha went through my Journal WITHOUT consent and demanded i needed a councilor. The only thing that got me through this year was the teachers. So tysm to 6th, 7th, 8th, Mrs. for helping me get through the year

This school is absolutely horrible! My child told me to leave a review and everything said was told…read moreto me by her and her friends. The grading system is inaccurate. Most teachers are disrespectful and unkind. The school water fountains are always either not working, the water is warm, and/or have a dirty filter. For tests, most of the questions are not provided for studying beforehand/on the study guide. The students are always using foul language, hitting each other, talking inappropriately, bullying each other, or genuinely not paying attention in class. The teachers only worry about their pay and not for the students sake of education. The teachers also do not reach out to parents as much as I'd appreciate. There are many bad teachers. For example, Mrs. Roth. She is unkind towards students and always yelling and touching them. She is also extremely disrespectful in general. Mrs. Fox (I think that is her name) yells a lot at her students and is not very respectful. Mrs. Ruppert does not properly educate her students. Mrs. Gale is most of the time rude. The school lunch is very horrible. When they come home from school on half days and bring a to-go lunch, it is overly disgusting. Even though they think they are doing good with the fruit cups/juice and cranberries, the food they make is why child obesity increases (sorry not sorry!!). The school air conditioning/heating is always to sometimes broken or not working well. There are probably more reasons but that's all I was told by my daughter and her friends during a 45 minute car trip.

This school has it's pros and cons. The pro is the small…read moreclass sizes. Less than 50 students per grade, so it is possible to know all of your classmates. This is also a con because it makes "cliques" more apparent. Pros: Parent-teacher relationships are strong. Attached to the church so there is no walking outside during inclement weather. Nuns still teach and run the school, this is less common in some other Catholic schools. Convenient for local children. Has after school program. CORA is available to tutor children who are having trouble, this happens during school hours. Cons: Costly, there are even charges if your child stays for lunch (which last I remember is held in the classrooms since there is no proper cafeteria.) Lack of after school activities, and those that do exist are expensive. Extracurricular classes are poor, in particular gym, which is held in the chilly basement of the church. Small class sizes mean advanced students are held back. To keep them busy they are asked to help less advanced students. Most of the student body lives in the area and graduates to Archbishop Ryan. Religion is held in high regard, and is very prevalent in the classroom. By attending this school, CCD is not mandatory as you study for and receive the sacraments through their church.

For lunch you either ate in the classroom or walked home for lunch. Maybe you went over to Academy Plaza But you know what ! I received a good catholic school education, and I would not change that for anything.
