When it came time to install, I feel like there was a breakdown and communication between what he had stated we wanted and the designs. We are not familiar with their design process and they use an iPad so when they stayed, there was enough room I just took their word for it. However, Jennifer, the owner has been truly amazing and ensuring that we love our designs. Jennifer came up with a new design for us that we absolutely love, and it is exactly what we had originally wanted as far as spacing goes, and she went above and beyond as well to add additional pieces at no cost to us. I truly cannot speak enough good things about Jennifer between her communication, sending us updates and even coming on site to make sure we were happy with everything. She was a phenomenal. My only regret about my experience with STL Closet Co. is not doing it sooner! From start to finish, everything was handled professionally, patiently, and expediently. Our designer Libby is such an excellent representative for the company and handled some glitches (multiple changing minds about location for a full-build; hidden "features" in an overcrowded closet) along the way with grace and impressive problem-solving. The installers were super professional and communicative, asking questions and talking us through issues to make sure we were all on the same page for the outcome. As a city resident, the proximity of their amazing showroom made seeing and handling the materials and built examples in person for multiple visits easy and fun. St. Louis Closet Company & Angela did a great job on both of the areas they transformed for us. In the master Closet we had an island made with drawers and a triple jewelry storage area. The granite top looks great and is very functionable. We absolutely love it! Out first project was our laundry room including the organization in the existing closet. We added cabinets and shelves above the washer/dryer and a storage area with bench seating as well. Before all we had for storage was one cabinet under the sink and the basic closet. It has enhanced the storage and use of our laundry room and looks amazing! It's absolutely perfect and we love it! The price was good and Angela put together a great design in both spaces! I have desperately needed storage space in my home for years! My basement leaks so it's impossible to store anything down there. I had a big blank wall in my kitchen and decided to add a pantry. I worked with Mary Cain at St. Louis closet company for the sales. I wanted something to put my wood floor steam cleaner and vacuum cleaner in as well as having shelf space for small appliances, extra dishes, food items, etc. Instead of just a pantry, she came up with a storage closet on one side and pantry on the other. I initially scheduled for July 5. They actually called me about a week ahead of time and said they had an opening on July 1 and would I be interested in it. You bet! Jamie was the installer. I had been told at the time I signed the agreement that it would be an all day project. Jamie had the closet put together in two hours! He did a fantastic job. It looks absolutely amazing and is extremely sturdy. He even added some extra little touches like rubber doorstops, so the doors would close quietly. I went to three different closet companies. I decided on this company for two reasons. First of all they had a show room. I liked being able to go in and see things already constructed. Second of all, I happened to hit when they were having a sale. The price ended up being cheaper than a place I looked at in Creve Coeur as well as the place I went to that had no show room. We moved in November, 2018. After finding the home and getting our offer accepted, my wonderful wife and I both knew we would be installing a St. Louis Closet Co. closet. We had worked so well with Amy back in March/April to get the closet installed in the home we moved from. It turned out that the closet wall space/ length in the new home was almost identical... just a different shape... from rectangle to L-shaped. So Amy worked with us to adjust to the new size and for taller ceilings. After a couple discussions we had our plan for the closet. And now that it's installed we are soooooo happy to have it! Amy also worked well to get us a great option to make the home office more functional with shelves and counter workspace and another work table for homework. In the end we realized that desks in the kids' bedrooms would handle homework better, and that let us turn the home office into a pool table room. She listened carefully to what I needed and then followed with suggestions I would've never thought of, that really took my closets to a whole new level. I love them! Last June, we moved into a new home built in the 1930s. Much of the house had been updated with new kitchen, baths, etc. but many of the closets were original, in poor condition, and not the best use of space. As we settled in, I knew I wanted to get the closets done but really had not explored options in years. Saint Louis Closet Co. was able to come up with creative designs and gave us wonderful options for the unique spaces. We worked with Angelia. She was fantastic! She met with us twice to ensure we had multiple options to make best use of the space. The installers Luis and Pat were awesome to work with and have in our home. They took their shoes off in our home and cleaned up everything before they left. Love, love, LOVE. One of the (many) projects I'm working on in my house is redoing the closets. I'm pretty happy with the closets in my bedroom, but my big issue was with my hall closet. It was TERRIBLE. It had one shaky shelf that I never used because I wasn't sure if it would collapse, so it really just ended up being a closet where I stored brooms and mops. Lots of wasted space. I relocated here near the end of 2014. Didn't have a lot of time between heading to my new job and settling into my new house. We had two major problems with two of our storage areas (pantry and kids closet). Decided that a closet organization system would help us maximize the space. We made an appointment and were assigned Amy Shea to work with us. We were still in the throws of unpacking and things were a real mess at the house. My kids were kind of going crazy and unsetled since we were still early in our move. Amy came in and measured our spaces. She talked us through a number of options for each space and then drew up a couple scenarios. While she took her measurements she told us what she was thinking and shared some information about optimal spacing. I'm an engineer and think I'm good at measurement but she had an excellent mastery for space optimization. Before we set up the appointment I was really worried that we would get pushed to add gadgets and specialty items to pump up the cost, I never felt pressured at all. When Amy drew up the designs, which were very lovely, she then talked us through each of them. We were able to talk about the pros and cons of each design and the cost. We then scheduled time for the installation. Communication prior to the installation was very good. I received a letter with information I needed to know as far as what materials needed to be removed from the existing closets. I also received a reminder call of the scheduled date for installation. The installers arrived on time and were very pleasant and efficient. They had all the equipment they needed and the work they did looks very nice and has held up well. One item of interest is that I was out while the installers were working, my husband at home. When I drove up I could tell that their van had broken down. My husband had no clue. The installers had called for backup assistance within the company and I could see they were helping to transfer tools and gear to another van. Although they had that issue neither of us were aware of it and I doubt it delayed our installation by much more than 20 minutes. It was another reminder that this company is very organized and executes projects as well as resolves challenges in a good manner. I can't recommend Amy highly enough. She did an excellent job and I'd use her again in a second. The designs she helped us settle on are working great. In addition, besides nicely allowing me to deal with my crazy, angry for moving me kids she provided great tips for the area. read more
