There were appointments available at a nearby CVS, but i bypassed it because i had another script to pick up at this one. Fix your system.... if your waitlist is unreliable, don't offer it up to customers. They are trying to allow for overbooking to account for no-shows..... complete bozos

While the care was good, it would have been much cheaper to go to the CVS clinic. The late evening hours are what made us choose Centra, which was cheaper than the ER. The second time my son had injured his hand. They X-rayed his hand, said it was just bruised, offered to tape it, and said to take it easy. 6 days later his hand was still swollen and purple/gray so I took him to our pediatrician who sent us to diagnostic imaging centers who was able to diagnose the break and send us to an orthopedist. When I called Centracare to let them know, I was told that often times breaks in children are not able to be diagnosed the first day because of swelling. This would have been nice to know upon our first visit so that I would have understood to keep an eye it and that it could potential be broken instead of just told it was bruised and sent on our way. The care was good, the people are friendly, but in both cases I either could have saved money or potentially gotten a more thorough diagnosis.

Funny, I didn't recognize her but recognized me. I was so nervous going in but after the initial introduction at the hallway with Dr. Peterson, I felt much more at ease while she treated the infection. She was very thorough, attentive and took great length to explain the aftercare at home and medication for the infection. Like most of us, the thought of waiting what seemingly…read morefeels like forever at an Urgent Care or ER only to be told everything is fine, take some ibuprofen and rest is reason enough to postpone seeing a doctor for as long as possible. But my son needed to be seen. I called the facility twice and spoke to a delightful woman on the other end who answered my questions and gave me directions. She wasn't pushy or rude despite calling more than once. The interactions with the front desk staff, the nurse (Susan ?), the x-ray tech (Amy?) and the doctor was extremely pleasant. They were patient, kind, and didn't seem to rush or cut corners. Even though the foot wasn't broken and we ended up leaving with an air cast and the rest/ice run down, I felt the appointment was productive and was confident with the diagnosis and recommendations given. Fast forward, we needed a note for school. The original fax didn't go through correctly. I called the next day to ask if they could resend the note. Now, I know they were busy because they put me on hold. Despite this, the receptionist who answered the phone was kind, responsive, and quick to resend the information I needed. Not once did I feel like I was an inconvenience which is rare in the world of medicine. Patience and kindness make such a big difference. Thanks for making what could have been a miserable experience all around, a pleasant one.

The person I spoke to was so patient and explained everything clearly to me and honestly I don't think patients calling in to figure out a bill is generally something they look at as a positive experience and most people would just want to avoid it all together however the experience I had with Tiffany T. was so wonderful to me. She took the time to help me understand the balance that I had and make it a completely positive call. I hope I never have to handle any more billing situations (this bill was my fault and not College Parks error) however if I do have to deal with it in the future, I hope I get the same person next time. She was such a joy and made this process completely painless. I'm sure this is the way she normally treats people who call in with billing concerns however I hope she knows it's the way she treated me as a human and made my experience wonderful that makes billing interactions less stressful. She is an asset to this company and I hope Tiffany knows it's these experiences that she provides to patients at College Park Family Care that keeps the patients loyal, at least for my family. I called the clinic and spoke to the receptionist, who verified that she scheduled a physical, then I spoke to the office manager Misty, who stated it was a work physical, and they consider each physical a different type, such as work/school/personal. I verified with insurance there was no such thing as different physicals. Then I tried to call the billing office for 2 weeks, multiple times a day, and Brittany never answers or returns calls, I then called main hospital who sent me to the billing supervisor, who was extremely rude, she said they sent it as a regular office appt not a physical. and she had no intentions on changing it. therefore my daughter should get a refund for incorrect coding, because they decided she came in form something other then what she stated. This is now being disputed. WATCH YOUR BILL IF YOU GO HERE, THEY ARE KNOWN FOR LYING AND CHEATING.
