I graduated from Padre Pio Academy in 2017. I can honestly say that Padre Pio Academy is my second…read morehome. The teachers here are so dedicated. My classmates became my family. My teachers became second parents. The faith is taught every day, in every classroom. We would pray the rosary every day, and every Friday the whole school goes to mass. During my first semester at college, I had an A+ in college level mathematics, and an A in college writing. I know that my education at PPA prepared me very well for college. I love this school. I can't wait to send my own children here someday.

DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE! This school is filled with nothing but bullies. I went here from…read morekindergarten to high school and was treated terrible by not only other students but the teachers as well. The principle is not a nice person. The education is terrible considering what you are paying. This school teaches you your faith while giving examples of how a catholic should not be behave. The teachers constantly would make fun or scream at the students in front of the whole school (it's extremely small) instead of nicely taking them aside and confronting them about the personal issue. I cried at least once a week after school and had such bad anxiety before class because of how mean the teachers were. There is also a very bad favoritism problem. Your grade is solely based on how favorited you are and if the teachers don't like you than you're screwed. Instead of detention, like a normal school, the make you do yard work for a week during your recess and lunch ( that whole week you don't get recess or lunch because you raking leaves in the front). When I transferred to my other high school in 2019 I was embarrassed on how little I knew and I had to be held back. the pandemic hit after I transferred and I am so mad that my only school memories are from this shit school. Overall you'd be better off at Public school or homeschooled because you learn nothing here besides exactly opposite of what God would want.

They welcome all Evangelical Christians with the understanding that the classroom and Biblical instruction is taught from the perspective of the Westminster Standards and Reformed Confessions of Faith. In addition, the Administrators, School Board (with multiple parents serving) and Teachers really value parent involvement. My spouse and I are involved and our input is appreciated. If you are looking for a co-op-like school that you can be involved with -- CCA is for you! My child's Kindergarten teacher was very receptive to working with me. Last year my child learned to read, write (handwrite and cursive), was doing addition and subtraction. He grew tremendously in confidence and sense of self. My child also memorized multiple poems and Bible verses during the year in addition to 60+ questions and answers of the Catechism for Young Children. The staff creates an environment where all of the children, grades K-8, encourage and support one another. When my son comes to school, the other kids run up to the gate jumping up and down to welcome him. He loves school! The teachers helped to fuel my child's interests as well. All of the students presented in their Science Fair last year, including the Kinders, and my child LOVED it because he is really excited about science. The school sets aside specific days for the arts and PE and the students perform (music and drama!) each year. We are going to start our second year with CCA. We are so excited to have some new teachers this year too! Check it out :)

My son attended St. Catherine's for 7th and 8th grade. To be honest, I was initially hesitant about…read moresending him there, but looking back, I am incredibly grateful that we did. My son is exceptionally bright and has severe ADHD, mild autism, and some oppositional tendencies. He is also kind, funny, and engaging. Before St. Catherine's, he relied heavily on his natural intelligence and often struggled with missing assignments, organization, follow-through, and accepting guidance from adults. What he needed was structure, accountability, challenge, and opportunities to learn respect outside of our home. Over the past two years, we have seen tremendous growth. His behavior at home improved significantly, he matured, became less demand-avoidant, and developed much stronger habits around schoolwork and responsibility. One of the things that impressed me most was how the staff learned what motivated him as an individual. Sister Joann found a way to challenge and motivate him when many other approaches had failed. Today, he has the highest GPA in the school, and his chronic missing-assignment problem has largely disappeared. The military structure, clear expectations, standards, and accountability are among the school's greatest strengths. Some families may initially view that structure as restrictive, but for many children, it is exactly what they need. St. Catherine's provides consistency, discipline, and character development in a way that is increasingly difficult to find. The small class sizes are another major benefit. I also appreciate the limited use of Chromebooks, the no-phone policy during the school day, and the emphasis on paper-and-pencil learning. Within the first week, I noticed improvements in my son's handwriting. Over time, he also became a better listener, paid closer attention to details, and stopped rushing through his work. Even his art and coloring skills improved noticeably. As both a Christian parent and a social worker, I care deeply about my son's emotional, spiritual, and academic development. While no school is perfect, St. Catherine's provided exactly the environment he needed during a critical stage of his life. I only wish we had enrolled him sooner. For families with boys who need more structure, accountability, challenge, and opportunities to build character and self-discipline, St. Catherine's is absolutely worth considering.

Thanks to their small class sizes, faith-based teachings, and positive male mentors, he has developed a beautiful sense of self-confidence, accountability, and brotherhood.
