It had a really nice flavor with a slightly peppery finish and honestly stood out as some of the better rice I've had at a Haitian restaurant. They also offer a house tea that goes along with the name Choublak (which the owner Marcus mentioned means hibiscus). The tea contains sorrel and is definitely worth trying if you visit. Another thing I appreciated was seeing a hands-on owner. Marcus is both the owner and the chef, and it shows in the attention to the food and the way he interacts with customers. Overall, if you're looking to try Haitian food, this is a great spot to check out. They have a small sit-down area and offer lunch specials Wednesday through Friday, which is a good opportunity to stop by and try the menu.

What concerns me even more is what I discovered afterward. I then searched for Taco Namas #1 independently and could not find any restaurant by that name on Google, Yelp, or anywhere else I searched. So I would genuinely like an explanation: Who exactly is Taco Namas #1, and why is an Uber Eats restaurant operating under that name using this restaurant's address? Between receiving food that did not match what I ordered and then discovering the confusion surrounding the restaurant name and address, I am extremely dissatisfied and concerned about this experience.
