I drove out of my way specifically because I was told I needed to come in. When I arrived, the young woman working was sitting on her phone and completely ignoring me. Instead of greeting me or acknowledging me as a customer, she eventually waved me over with an attitude as if I were inconveniencing her. To make matters worse, when I attempted to order the stew turkey I had specifically come there for, I was told they were out. I asked if they had just recently run out, and she said no -- which makes the entire situation even more frustrating. If you already knew you were out of an item, why have a customer drive all the way there just to place an order in person? A simple "we're out of that today" over the phone would have saved me the trip. The attitude from beginning to end was extremely rude and dismissive. I understand that people have bad days, but customers should not be made to feel like a nuisance for simply trying to spend their money at your establishment. And honestly, the restaurant was completely empty when I arrived. If you're trying to run a successful business and attract customers, treating the few customers who actually walk through your door with this kind of attitude is not the way to do it. I was willing to go out of my way to support this restaurant, and instead I left feeling disrespected and unwelcome. Customer service matters, regardless of who the customer is or what they look like. I will not be returning, and based on this experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone.
