Traffic kept pushing our lunch later but I didn't give up. Glad we didn't! Staff is awesome, they set a table up for us outside the front door to accommodate our dog. (They even brought him a bowl of water) Equally importantly, the food is delicious! My wife had the hummus and we could tell they made it themselves, nice and fresh! I went with pork souvlaki over their salad and a side of lemon potatoes. The pork is seasoned perfectly and is so tender! They serve it with a creamy dressing that is sublime, the kind of thing you remember for a while. The lemon potatoes were great and also benefited from a dip in that dressing!! Wish we lived nearby, will have to settle for stopping every time we pass by!

They don't have a menu but it's $1 off beers and $3 off certain drinks. Masa Mondays offers $3 off certain dishes including papusas and empanadas. I couldn't find empanadas on the menu. We ordered the mofongo based on the great reviews and wanting to try something different. We also got the Papusa, a hibiscus drink and a margarita. Overall the food was good. The mofongo is heavy - so it's best eaten shared with something on the lighter side. The Mofongo comes with a topping of beef or shrimp. Our waiter didn't ask our preference so I thought maybe it comes with both. Later we heard another waiter ask the customer if they wanted beef or shrimp. We were given beef and that was fine but it would have been nice to have a choice! The disappointment came in the service. The waiter was unaware of happy hour or the Masa Monday discount. We asked about Happy Hour on arrival. Upon receiving the bill we had to ask for an adjustment. Then the bill came back and the Papusa (a $10 dish) was charged at $12 with a $3 discount. At this point I was tired of asking so we just let it go. To the owners - don't advertise discounts and then try to avoid them or not train your staff about them. Will not come back for that reason. I felt it was false advertising. Puts all the work on the customer to follow up.
