My regular lady at my regular massage place raised her prices and she quit doing massages so I found a new lady and a new place. She injured herself and keeps putting me off so I figured maybe I should try another place so this place was advertising $45 for a 90 minute combo foot/body massage. Now I get a massage for two reasons; first to relax as I have a stressful job and massage is the best way for me to relax and not think of all those things with work. The second reason is I have a lot of aches and pains from living a hard life and playing too hard when I was young. If one of those is missing then the massage is a waste of money for me. I went in and paid my money up front. Never a fan of that, but some places do that. I was then led back to the foot massage bed... Yes, bed. It looked like one of those foot massage chairs with the back broken on it. I like to sit up during my foot massage, but thats not an option here. So I laid down and this GUY brought out the bucket of water and I put my feet in it. Then HE started massaging my shoulders, arms and finally my feet. I'm not relaxing at all as I don't care for any message from any man. My daughter says I'm homophobic. Maybe, but I don't like having a massage by a man. When he was don't with my feet I went to the curtain area and he massaged my back!!! When I was done I had a worse headache than when I arrived! I guess the massage was okay, but I CAN NOT relax getting a massage from a man. I will not be back as there are more places to check out if my new regular massage lady is still broken next time I need a massage.

I've been to other massage places in Washington, all insanely priced, but this so far has been my favorite. Chasden's massage was pretty much perfect. He listened to my specific needs and was able to massage the tension in my upper body with precision. After calling twice on Monday, I finally got a hold of someone who told me because I didn't give 30day notice in June I was being charged the full fee- Even though I tried canceling in May, too... (the person I spoke with today said she "tried to call me" in June but I never received a missed call notice, voicemail, text or email....) I was told they won't reverse the July fee due to not giving the full 30days, again DESPITE me trying to cancel in early May... The membership fee is a scam, I do not recommend signing up That being said, the folks providing the services were all very nice & good at their jobs!! Just very unfortunate that how the membership fee and that "customer service" call was a complete disappointment and I feel I was mislead/duped.
