I ordered takeout from this restaurant. The person who took my order seemed annoyed by my call. No worries, I assumed they were busy. I was delayed a few minutes in getting to the restaurant. I apologized when I arrived. The cashier was downright rude, and charged me .50 for a cup of ice. I ordered spicy crawfish rolls, and did not receive crawfish in the rolls. It appeared to be imitation crab that was separated and put in a spicyish sauce. It was good, but not as advertised. See photos. read more

Hands down, my favorite restaurant in Tipton county. Dine in or out, it's always hot, fresh, and delicious. It's one of the only meals i never have to worry about the consistency, or checking the bag before leaving. The staff is super friendly, and almost always remembers my family. The lunch specials are very reasonable, however after after lunch i don't feel for the quality of service the food is all that expensive. But sometimes I even order takeout just for myself ;) There is nothing more filling and satisfying than their vegetable fried rice. I've lived in the area for near 8 years. Sakura has always been overpriced and under quality in my opinion. The food is just okay, but the price you pay it should be Diamond encrusted and prepared by a king. It's not worth the money, but if you have money to blow feel free to give it a shot. Visited this restaurant with friends that live in the area. The sushi was very tasty! The hibachi steak and chicken was very good too. The sauce and seasoning used on the meats and vegetables added a wonderful flavor. The interior is very nice. I agree with other reviews that I read after the fact that I it is nicer than what you would expect in a strip mall. The waitress did not seem to have much of a personality but she got everyone's order correct. It may be that she was just shy. Would definitely recommend to others in the area. read more

Soup and salad that came with my meal was very flavorless as well. Soup was equivalent to rain water, and the salad dressing tasted like pure mayo. My main meal was the scallop hibachi; greasy rice, scallops had no flavor and I kept biting into hard chunks that felt like teeth! low grade food. It basiclly just had teriyaki sauce poured all over it. The sitting booth was dirty. I put my arm up on the headrest area and got old rice stuck to my elbow!!!! At first I thought it was worms, LOL. As you probably know by now, I'm a big sushi fan, and this is the closest place to where I'm currently living that serves it. The food is very good, sushi isn't as great as other places in the surrounding Memphis areas, but it certainly isn't terrible. They have a good lunch special with two or three rolls of sushi with soup or salad, the three roll is around $13. The place almost always is dead, and the service is less than friendly. The prices are a little higher than my liking, I've gotten better Japanese food for less. You can order through the beyond menu app but no delivery is offered here.
