I stayed in that line for over 25 minutes which was surprusing because even when it's busy, it normally only takes 15 max. I ordered an extra 4 oz shrimp sauce and instead of giving me 2 4 oz shrimp sauces, they gave me 2 2 oz sauces (half filled 4 oz cups) instead. that was not cool, especially if you're gonna charge me for the second one. also had to sit at the window for like 5 minutes for a mixed vegetable, weird that it took so long. Best place around to get takeout! The food is always hot, fresh, and amazing. You get the most for your money and packed full containers of food at a decent price. Since Covid, they have switched to a takeout only service but still retain the best quality, quantity, and fast service as eating in. The sushi rolls are pretty standard but tasty and always made fresh, and our favorite dish is the Yaki & Chicken for the sheer amount of deliciousness that's packed into every bite. I highly recommend their seasame style chicken loaded with extra shrimp sauce, and the food always leaves us completely full. read more

My boyfriend wanted to take me here because he loves the food and haven't been in a while. He regrets it. Worst place ever! I would give this place a 0 star if I could. First the place was dirty. Like food almost everywhere. They didn't even start cleaning until I start complaining to my guy how messy it look and the fish tank they had was so nasty. Poor fish. Yay! I'm a fan because this was fast, healthy, hot and cooked well - and with a good portion at a good price. My daughter and I got some steak/broccoli combination and the steak was better than the nearby Applebees and we went through the drive-thru at two-minutes before closing!! How often do you get good hot food right at closing time?! Broccoli & rice were fresh, carrots were well cooked, not too mushy, not too hard. Fried cheese wontons were hot and tasty. (If you're a fan of friend dough and cheese & chives you'll probably like those.) My daughter and I were expecting a "bleh" experience because it was late at night and it was a drive-thru. Very pleasantly surprised and we will definitely be regulars after our books-a-million trips. They have a casual sit down area inside, and a drive-thru with a limited menu outside. They have a variety of seafood sushi & vegetable sushi . (My vegetarian daughter in NY will be thrilled when she comes back.) This is a nice alternative to area drive-thru restaurants if you have a vegetarian in the car. This is American friendly Japanese food. I'm not reviewing on authenticity because I don't know enough about Japanese food to do so. I'll just say it was fresh, tasty, and definitely reasonably price. Omg, so much better than Motos, it's unreal. The yaki and shrimp were amazing, and the shrimp were HUGE. Delicious!

Very poor quality food. The "green salad" was literally a Styrofoam box of lettuce. Nothing else, no dressing. Teriyaki chicken is just chicken with a lot of soy sauce. read more

Rude service. No menu to show ingredients of rolls- when asked if above was only menu as I can't see ingredients to choose, told yes. Had to find for myself on the counter top. Not able to sit and choose. Not clean premises. No hot tea. I'm a huge sushi fan and this was so bland and a small portion for a special roll. Sorry but overall not good at all and I wouldn't return. Would give this 0 stars if I could. My boyfriend and I went like a month ago. The place is so dirty. Like it look like nobody clean. There was trash and food under so many table. The fish tank was dirty and didnt even really have any water for the poor fish to swim. Surprise he still alive. The back is full of stuff. Like it storage or something. Also took them so long to take our order even though we was the only people inside. And then the lady was so rude. Also got food poisoning from the sushi. My husband and I have ate here since they opened. Great food! I am new to sushi, the vegetable sushi(just veggies) are great! Also the shrimp tempura is to die for!!! I LOVE them!!! I have gave this place several chances but no more. I got a carry out order of the sesame chicken dinner last Friday. By that night I was so sick w/diarrhea AND vomiting I thought I was dyeing! I don't usually write reviews on restaurants, but I read them quite often for new places to try. I am from out of town and was visiting my family, and we decided to go to this place to for lunch. To start off, the doors were filthy and an asian lantern was hanging outside that looked like it had weathered the wrath of a hurricane, tornado, and Cujo. Then, we go to order, a little girl (maybe 10 years old) was running the register (taking orders and money; wondered if it was because she was the only one who could speak English). There was also another little girl (approx 7 yo) taking up 4 tables with her play/book/entertainment area (there was even a bookshelf filled with books). Deciding what to eat, I began looking for a kid's menu for smaller portions (or maybe chicken nuggets which I have seen @ other similar restaurants), but acknowledging we were in a Japanese restaurant, decided hibachi chicken would work for my picky eater. One of my children wanted steak and one wanted chicken so I thought the best idea was the combination for them to split. Well, nowhere on the menu did it mention that it comes with sauce. Unfortunately, it came with teriyaki sauce (which my children were unable to eat). Also, I was looking forward to the broccoli (only comes with hibachi), but it only had carrots. My brother let me share his broccoli (which was actually really good as were the carrots. The combination plate comes with an egg roll (which I am not fond of), but the menu said you could substitute soup. Well, there was only 1 kind of soup which was something like bok choy. Again, that was not something I cared for so I decided to get the "green" salad which turned out to be yellow iceberg lettuce ONLY. I'm not really sure if I was supposed to eat that or put it on my food but didn't do either because it didn't look appetizing. The rice had little flavor as did the meat. I grabbed the salt shaker to add the necessary flavor to consume, but it had so much filth accumulated on it that it almost made me sick. I have been to other fast food type Japanese restaurants and have been pleased with the experience of fast and GOOD Japanese food. The difference is that they actually specify what comes with plates (i.e. hibachi vs. teriyaki; broccoli/no broccoli; use of sauces) and offer a variety of options for sides (like REAL salads). My extended family seemed to really enjoy it, but I was completely disappointed. The prices weren't terrible, but I have eaten WAY BETTER food for less. t don't plan to return when I'm back in town. read more
