I've heard about this place for years as it is a popular local staple and decided to finally give it shot. It's located on the post road so very easy to get to, however since it is very popular it can get busy and parking is limited. There is no street parking as it is a busy road. That being said, I recommend you make a reservation ahead of time. When we got there the wait for regular dining was 10 minutes, although not bad, confusing as I saw plenty of open tables that opened up sooner. Friendly service from hostess and waiter. Large menu with plenty of options for hibachi style eating, sushi and Asian cuisine. We ordered a plate of shrimp and chicken teriyaki and a couple rolls and a side of hibachi noodles. The shrimp and chicken was average. They did bring me rice instead of noodles, which they quickly replaced. I love sushi but I found the sushi here a little interesting... mushy. I gave it a try but did not leave such an impression that I would go back.

Famous for their noodles and hibachi sauce. Good quality sushi, fun ambiance and environment with the tables and multiple rooms. The service is good with a well staffed establishment. Not open for lunch on Saturdays which is sad.

The restaurant is amazing and the food is so good. There are so many options and the hibachi here is simply the best. You have to try this! The chefs are so nice and so talented, as they make amazing food and can do so many tricks. This restaurant is perfect for birthday parties and celebrations, and I went for my friends 14th birthday party. It makes for the best time, and I would recommend coming for lunch if you want a mellow experience and dinner for a loud celebratory experience. I would 100% recommend to all clientele and demographics. Our chef Michael Jackson was the best ever!

A good time! Came here with my family on Christmas Eve and it was very busy as expected. The reservation link on the website is down so we had to do a walk in. We waited at the sushi bar for over an hour and the host was able to accommodate our table of three for hibachi sooner than our reserved time. It was cool watching the sushi get made but it was a tight squeeze between that and the actual bar. It was super entertaining and the food was great. The chef included every parties allergy and food preferences. I recommend the lychee martini. It was so tasty. I'd come again but I'd call ahead to make a reservation regardless of the season.

This is a popular hibachi place in Westport. Definitely call ahead for reservations on the weekends. The noodles are thinner than typical hibachi noodles which I enjoyed as it didn't feel as filling. The food was well cooked but overall lacked a bit of flavor. The side sauces they provide helped give the food more of a kick. The portion sizes were fair for the price and staff was attentive. The non hibachi seating areas are quite large so if desired, you could always order hibachi to a table and skip the show.

My family and I usually come here for celebrating birthdays. My cousins and I LOVE this place! Whenever I go I always get chicken and noodles! The noodles are always so delicious and chicken is too! This location has private rooms where you can enjoy your meal at a table but you sit on the floor. They provide cushions and you are supposed to take your shoes off. This Location also has live birds in a cages as you walk to your tables. I believe they are parakeets. They add more to this already wonderful restaurant!:)

We were going to go somewhere else, but they were closed and this popped up on Yelp so we decided to give it a try. Everything was so good - the tuna tartare was finely ground tuna and had an almost sweet flavor, served with a delicious chipotle sauce. Was a big portion for an app. The seaweed salad was also a pretty big portion and we ended up saving it for the next day. Gyoza was standard but good. The Mount Fuji was so good - a bunch of different types of seafood with a lot of flavor. I barely even added soy sauce because it overpowered the more gentle but present flavors of all the fish. For rolls, we got the pink lady roll, spicy girl roll, sex and the city roll, and yamafuji roll. Each one was better than the last and I'd get them all again! They were BIG and filling. Last thing we got was the sushi pizza which was SO GOOD. The "crust" was a scallion pancake and it had so much flavor. Would definitely order everything again!

Not a chain restaurant and not very big. As it turns out, it was a perfect combination for an UH-MAZ-ING meal! Literally, upon entering the front door, a curtain pulls to the side as we entered the restaurant. A nice little touch like you're entering a whole new world. It's a quaint little spot, maybe 20 or so tables total and some bar seating available. We had a small group of 7 and fit right along the far wall. Asked for some special favors from the hostess and she was more than accommodating. Our server, Julia was phenomenal. She gave us some time to socialize, choose our meals and looked after us as if we were her only table (while taking care of a couple other tables at the same time). Very personable and helpful along the way, not just someone who took our orders only never to be seen again. She had some great suggestions and was very knowledgeable about the menu. The food was spectacular! I initially ordered a few appetizers for the table. She suggested a Makimono dish which was a selection of the same items I requested and a few more! Perfect for sharing! We enjoyed a variety of entree selections from their menu including poke bowls, sushi and grilled meats and fish. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The desserts were a perfect casual finish to our meal! Can't say enough good things about our experience at OKO Kitchen. The service and food were spot on! Keep on Yelp'n!

We had the crab fried rice that was very tasty and a good portion- shareable when ordered with other items. We had an array of nigiri. It's a small restaurant with city vibes, friendly service. It was expensive and I'm not completely sure everything was worth the cost, for a special occasion, it is worth it.

Ive been there for dinner time as well, it's lively, loud in a good way, and immediately feels like somewhere you could stay for hours. The broth was the star of the dish its deep, rich, savory, and layered with that perfect balance of umami and subtle sweetness from the miso and a bit nitty form the sesame seeds. The noodles had the perfect texture: chewy, springy, and able to hold onto the broth beautifully. Nothing was overcooked or mushy . What impressed me most was how balanced the ramen was. Some ramen spots go overboard with salt or spice, but this bowl felt refined. Rich but not greasy. Flavorful but not overpowering. You could tell there was actual technique behind it. The portion size was also generous enough to leave completely full without feeling uncomfortable afterward. The service matched the food perfectly and so freaking sweet. It's acidic, savory and has the perfect crunch to it. The crab Rangoons are sooo good. They give you plenty of sauce and you can tell it's the good crab. The cold sesame noodles are perfect! A little bit of heat, a bunch of flavor. I'm drooling just thinking about it! The chili dumplings were good but a little too spicy for me! We also really enjoyed the kimchi carbonara and personally, I'm a sucker for udon noodles! And now the star of the show for me and something I've ordered three times now! The crab fried rice! The crab is so tender and buttery, like it actually melts in your mouth. And the pork belly chunks in it, also tender and delicious. I like dream of this dish every week! It is the kind of place that works perfectly for a casual date night or a comforting dinner when you are craving something rich and flavorful. We started with the agedashi tofu and Sapporo, which was a great way to ease into the meal. The tofu was lightly crisp on the outside and silky inside, sitting in a savory broth that balanced sweetness and umami nicely. Paired with a cold Sapporo, it set the tone for a solid evening. My girlfriend ordered the spicy tonkotsu ramen, which came out steaming and fragrant. The broth was creamy and pork forward with a steady heat that built gradually without overwhelming the palate. The noodles had a nice chew and the toppings were well portioned. I went with the mazemen, which was bold and satisfying. Rich sauce coating thick noodles, topped with a perfectly jammy egg and fresh scallions for brightness. It was hearty and full of flavor, the kind of dish that leaves you full and content. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, with dim lighting and a laid back energy that encourages you to settle in. Service was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. The only reason this lands at four stars instead of five is that while everything was very good, it did not quite reach that unforgettable level. Still, it is a dependable spot for quality ramen in Norwalk.
