We love Sakura. My only minimal complaint is that they don't have a ton of options for the lunch special. Their shrimp tempura roll is our favorite. Place is constantly busy, even at 2 pm on a Sunday we had to wait for a table. The service was great, and the sushi came out sooner than expected, considering how busy the place was. I am guessing they have plenty of sushi chefs on hand. The sushi was good and well presented. My only beef was that the volcano roll was cloyingly sweet, which was both a turnoff and a surprise. We simply won't order that anymore. We will definitely return. read more

The food here is very flavorful and the dish presentation is clean and minimalist as you would expect from the Japanese cuisine. But what really caught my eye is the pink soy bean sheet they use in some of the chef special rolls, which is my first time seeing it. The ambiance here is quite relaxing and not loud at all for dinner time. My dish recommendation would be the "Sakura chicken lettuce wrap" starter, and the Summer roll... a great combination, especially if you like spicy sushi. read more

Soon after we have seat down, the restaurant is filling up and long line at the door. We realize that tonight is Valentine's Day. I was assignment out of town and glad that we get to restaurant early. We have order the rainbow roll, volcano roll, lobster roll, spicy tuna roll, and more. I like the most is the volcano roll. It has clam meat inside. It actually look like lava flowing down the hill. The decorations and presentation is great with the look. Food is fresh, the mixture of the ingredients is good. Talk about a diamond in the ruff, This place is definitely a hidden Sushi treasure. Its small but clean and cozy. The food is the best quality of this place. I've had about 15 different rolls from here and haven't really had a "bad" one yet. The seaweed salad is AMAZING, The Sirloin Steak fried rice is AWESOME and the Japanese Beers they offer tie it all together!!! The prices are VERY FAIR and there is a few TV's that are usually on sports when I come here so thats also a plus. Over all Sakura is one of my favorite eateries in Lynn Haven. A+ read more
