I give it a thumbs up for the area. Super friendly service. Tiger roll was yummy though if you like it saucy, ask for a side of eel sauce. Today was our first rime visiting Fin's and we were pleasantly surprised. Shelia was our waitress and she was super nice and attentive. She checked on us frequently. We ordered crab rangoons, they were nice and hot. We also ordered a shrimp hibachi and the spouse had a scallop hibachi. They were both very good. We liked the noodles and veggies and the shrimp and scallops were cooke perfectly. The miso soup was good and the salad was nice. The food was yummy and the sushi was fresh. Only problem was the portion sizes were really small. The spring rolls in the sample platter were about the size of a chapstick and the crazy crab only came with four pieces which was a little disappointing. We got take away and spent almost $100 on what we thought would be a feast for two. Both my husband and I were still hungry afterwards; I thought we'd have leftovers. Never ever have I been served "ground" fish sushi with no spice or flavor. Poki bowl was all rice with ground fish an very thin and few jalapeños Sauce was store bought. My last comment is that anyone who serves ground sushi or serves it in a poki bowl is using poor grade fish that has high risk of bacterial contamination. I do not recommend in any way. read more

The food was AWFUL. I had a pickup order & the 'clear' soup is a weir sweet & kinda sour dark broth. The crazy crunch shrimp roll was stuffed with the thickest slab of cream cheese (bigger than the shrimp itself) and tasted extremely old. The hibachi wasn't impressive either, the steak had a weird texture to it and while it felt raw it was like grey on the inside??? We stumbled upon this restaurant on a Saturday evening, and thankfully, it wasn't too crowded. As a result, we were seated right away. We tried their hot sake, which was quite tasty. Then we got their spicy poke bowl, which includes spicy salmon, tuna, and yellow fish. It was delicious. For our entree, we chose their hibachi chicken and shrimp combo. It also includes Miso soup and house salad. Their food portions are generous and prices are reasonable as compared to other sushi restaurants at the beach. In town visiting Panama city and was excited to have some good sushi, and decided on this place. We were seated immediately and service was quick. The place was also clean, including the bathrooms which was great. The miso soup was delicious, as miso soup usually is. The yummy yummy roll (left) didn't have an overpowering spicy taste, just a nice flavor and aftertaste. The tiger roll (middle) was almost like a melt in your mouth good with the salmon, very fresh. The Philadelphia roll wasn't our favorite though, it tasted almost a little salty. I wouldn't get that specific roll again but I would definitely come back for the others! The water also did taste like tap water, just an FYI. Prices were also very reasonable. read more

We have tried so many places in PCB for sushi and none have been very note worthy. We pulled this suggestion from our condos guest book. We could not have been happier. Every roll was delicious and the services was outstanding. Waitress was great and sushi chef had our rolls out to us very quickly! I was expecting for it to be a fancy-feel and was kind of nervous to go in since I was wearing gym shorts and a tank-top. Thankfully the restaurant had a very chill vibe, and the music playlist was on point (for a college student). Now onto the food. Appetizer: - Sampler platter special - honestly have no idea what the specific names are. All I know there are crab Rangoon's, fried shrimp, calamari, egg rolls, and some kind of fried dumpling. The breading was great, especially on the shrimp. Enjoyed all of it. - The soft shelled crab - We were excited to eat this, but we weren't as amazed as we'd thought. Pretty good though. Entree's: Sushi: - Gulf Coast Roll - Oh my freaking goodness. Honestly, 100% the best sushi I have ever eaten. It came out so quickly. Ended up getting another roll because it was so good. They forgot the jalapeños the second roll, but at least it was still yummy. Hibachi scallop & salmon combo - This entree was not finished being made by the time we had ordered and eaten our second roll. We got it within 10 mins. before closing, so we decided to get it put in to-go before they brought it out. Did not get the soup and salad that it was supposed to come with. Also did not receive the white rice we asked for, but instead, fried rice. The salmon was perfectly cooked and flaked nicely. In all, it was just a little too much of the sauce. I believe the last entree would have been better if it wasn't for closing time, which we understand. But of course, to please customers that are also willing to please the employees by wanting to get out of there before closing, definitely make sure things will taste phenomenal just as if it wasn't close to closing time.
