Every interaction with them has been completely professional. What really got our eye was they are down to earth. We got to express how we really feel and so did they. Both of us having an unfiltered mouth, we knew these are the guys we want representing me. What they charge is reasonable no hidden fees. Thank you both for your work with my cases. Although we enjoyed working with you two let's hope we don't ever have to again!!

Fast forward a few months, as I was getting ready to go to work, I get a text message from the court about an hour before the court hearing with a video conferencing link stating that I needed to be present at 10 AM. I had no prior notice or communication from the lawyer. I called the law firm, and the receptionist told me, "the person who can answer your questions about the case won't be in for another hour, so you better attend." I had to ChatGPT some response/plan as I had no idea what to say or do. About 10 minutes right before my court case, that lawyer finally called me and was asking me about the details of my case as if he had just learned about it. He told me that there was a "glitch" and that I should have been informed about the court case with more reminders 2 weeks ahead of the date. He called the prosecutor to cut a "deal" about 5 minutes before the case, which was the worst deal I've ever had with a traffic lawyer that left me paying near the original fine fee and 6 months probation. Calling this firm criminal defense firm is a crime on its own. The staff was rude, insulting, very…read moreexpensive, and outright incompetent. They may do well with simple cases in minor courts and in state clients for nothing more complicated than a DUI/simple possession charge, but anything other than that STAY AWAY. The firm was never able to effectively communicate with me. I asked for all correspondence to go through email on multiple occasions. Instead I get texts with wrong information sent to a family member the night before I'm supposed to have court in person in a city that is 500 miles away the next morning @ 8AM. This happened on multiple occasions and was never resolved. It was clear minimum time was spent on my case. As a client I was never given a copy of my discovery or plea agreement, nor were they ever read over with me by my attorney. I have never felt more rushed or confused entering a plea in my life. Finally, I was removed from billing and the firm filed to withdraw from council without talking to me about it, which resulted in a warrant for my arrest. I find this grossly incompetent and unethical. Do not trust this firm for anything non dui related. Do not trust this firm if you are an out of state client. Do not trust this firm if you found what they did to me unethical. They're more concerned with putting pronouns in their titles than actually doing real legal work. There are much better firms that are substantially cheaper.

I can't say enough positive things about working with Josh at Schatz Anderson (and the entire team)…read morethey were timely with communication, thorough, incredibly knowledgeable and extremely professional. Worth every single penny. I would highly recommend working with Josh and suspect you'd have an equally positive experience with other attorneys in the firm, though I can't say first hand.

While we only sought them out for immigration services, I can only imagine that they use the same unnecessary money taking tactics across all their services. I had been very skeptical of immigration lawyers and felt like I had done diligent work finding not-only a competent person, but a person who would not take advantage of our hard earned money. Initially, all across the board, her office seemed very professional and organized. Slowly our retainer started to get depleted for things I felt were unnecessarily chargeable. I know the immigration process is going to cost money, but sending a one sentence email should not cost $60 dollars. When I inquired about the charges, we kept getting the go around. Most painfully, when we requested to withdraw from their services and went to request the remaining about in our retainer account, their paralegal could not even look us in the face to say goodbye. While we were talking to the receptionist, she walked passed us. The receptionist tried catching her attention. She kept walking. The receptionist followed and they had a hall-way conversation five feet from us. The paralegal could have just told us this directly. Long story short, they still owe us $42.35, which we have yet to receive. Yes, they appear to very professional, but at a ridiculous cost. They will help you achieve they American Dream, but will leave you poor.
