Salem Chest Specialists is top notch! Dr Yousaf is the doctor who takes care of me! He is the best!! His staff is always kind and helpful. I appreciate them and would highly recommend!! The Sleep Center is awesome as well! They are in a different location but very convenient! I was there to pick up and drop off a home sleep study kit. The ladies are absolutely awesome! Sierra was so helpful with getting me set up. Thorough and so sweet. When I dropped it off I had great conversation with all three working that day! Aftermy second COVID vaccine in 2021, I experienced breathing issues that were pretty bad. And I had to go on oxygen shortly after and am still having to use it. Ryan Quarless has taken excellent care of me since Dr Hinson started my original plan of treatment. Everyone I have seen has been kind and answered my questions thoroughly. The office staff is courteous and welcoming. The billing and records are quick to return a response come and overall I could not be happier with my medical care there. read more

I had sleep study there in January. My physician had sent referral in late November. Took them a month to call to schedule an appointment. The night of my study, there was only one tech on duty, a male. He normally told me another tech, female, would be on site. If there had not been another person having study, I would have gone home as would not have felt comfortable as female with only a male tech on duty. Doctor called me to tell me my study was normal. I never received any kind of written communication. When I called a few weeks later to ask for a written copy of my sleep study, I was told had to fill out a medical release form -- for my own records, to be sent to my address of record. I had also requested a copy of the study, at the time of intake interview, to go to my two primary care physicians, which they never received. I will not recommend this facility. read more

While I have yet to visit their office, the phone conversations I have had were not good. I hate to review without going to the office, however I have been told it would take more than 4 weeks before they would even speak to me about an appointment and another month after before I would be able to go to the office. Based on my phone conversations I would not patronize this business. The ladies were rude and seemed uncaring. read more

The staff has been nothing short of wonderful as I am beginning my CPAP journey. Dr. Fowler, Jeri, Sheena, Bill and Holly have answered every question, no matter the topic (billing, scheduling, equipment, OSA), with patience and knowledge. Dr. Fussel decided my lifelong asthma wasn't asthma based on ONE minute listening to my chest after a neb treatment, and took away all my essential medications, forcing me back to the hospital for stabilization. When I went to the office to get my medical records, they Gave it to me with NO ID requested! I could have asked for ANYONE'S record and been handed it. This is a HIPPA violation and a Hard NO for medical providers for me! read more

Salem Chest is not the only show in town although seem to think they are. It is impossible to speak to anyone. I hung up after the first seven menu driven options. This is just plain silly. I had X-rays and was told I had a punctured lung only to be told at my next visit that I did not. I simply do not like the majority of the staff. read more

My son is now a former patient and I just received the billing statement from his last hospital stay under this group. They are the worst doctors. They took away medicine that my son needed and then wondered why he was having so many side effects. They left him jerking from the removal of one medicine. They think they know my son better than I know my son. They never asked why he was taking a certain medicine but decided he didn't need it. From looking at the billing statement, it appears that they were just trying different drugs on him. I'm just glad that my son got out of that hospital with his life. We had to spend the next several months at the wound center at Wake Forest trying to save his leg from a wound on his knee that was almost to the bone. Be wary of this practice and doctors that believe they are Gods.... read more
