The front desk staff was kind and efficient. Took care of my paperwork and got my dental card scanned. Then the dental assistant took me back to do an assessment and took additional xrays. She was kind and detailed in everything she was doing. She even brought me out a warm blanket since they keep the office cold. I met with Dr. Suttle and he was amazing. He was very detailed with my issues, discussed how they approach things conservatively initially. They have a 4 part approach to their care before they determine if more advanced treatment is needed. Your first visit is with your dental hygienist who spends an hour with you teaching you tips and tricks to do at home to maximize care. The next 2 appointments are your deep cleaning. It has a new name now but I forgot it. They clean one side at a time. And then 6 weeks after your deep cleaning, you have another assessment to determine next steps. They do require out of pocket up front at the first visit but they will assist you with the paperwork for you to submit to your dental insurance for possible reimbursement. They are also extremely affordable compared to others in the area. I highly recommend this office if you are having issues that require more advance treatment.

So this is my second extraction/implant experience and it was fantastic. First: understand that none of this is pleasant. But when I say fantastic I mean no issues: from walking into the office for the check, to care getting the X-rays and scheduling, to getting my pre med for sedation (two lorazepams = no more anxiety! Hazah!) and them wheeling me in from the car with my husband driving of course, the experience and quality of care is wonderful. I would minus a star because I can't eat anything crunchy until my stitch is removed, but that's my problem from past Jen not caring for her teeth. I feel like my pain was well managed, my anxiety was well seen and cared for. I hope you don't need him, but Dr. Pierce is top of the line. Very caring and good doctor with great assistance!

The other is the unprofessional attitude of the DDS in the office owned by NW. When I showed the receptionist at Dr Wright's office my medical enrollment card, I explained that it was my ex-wife's. She then had the nerve to berate me by asking in a sarcastic tone, "How many times have you been married?" As if that's any of her business! When I explained it was my "late" wife, as in my dead wife who died of cancer, no apologies, just a casual shrug as she turned her back, thanks so much. The most unprofessional office I have yet to attend and wish I had chosen another periodontist. Dr. Wright's procedure was as expected and I have no complaint with her except the lack of personnel oversight this complaint highlights. Who wants to get berated by a meddlesome receptionist who questions AND ASSUMES you are at fault for being married more than once? What a piece of unprofessional work. I hemmed and hawed about writing this review for some time, because other staff members were very civil, but the grossly unprofessional and personally offensive receptionist decided it for me. This office could use some professional ethics guidance about prying into personal matters that are of no concern to the practice nor the receptionist! Would not recommend this practice AT ALL.

When she administered the numbing agent it was completely painless. Her technique was the best I have ever experienced. She also used only the amount necessary for the procedure itself to be painless and did not over use the agent to where my face was numb for hours. The root canal procedure was done very quickly and again painlessly. I have had numerous dental procedures over many years and I must say that today was by far one of the best dental experiences I have ever had. Moreover, she did everything required in one session and not requiring additional procedures on another day. I told Dr. Munn that her dental work on me today was fabulous and I was going to tell everyone that should they require her services, I wholeheartedly endorse her professional quality of care. It was amazing.

They do xrays and cleaning/exam in two visits and thus collect two copays which is some stupid and scammy nonsense in its own right. They are cold, rude, stern and refuse even eye contact. I showed up for my cleaning, in the dental chair, get asked is anything bothering me and described a small area of irritation. The dentist comes in and asked what's wrong and at this point I was told I had been scheduled today as an emergency visit, not a cleaning. They refused any sort of discussion and the dentist, upon realizing the error, literally just walked away as I was speaking to her, putting her hand up in a stop talking kind of motion. Questioning the hygienist, she pulls the bib off my neck and says go talk to the receptionist. Repeats this three times as I try to speak. The dentist and receptionist both were coldly unapologetic about my inconvenience, barely spoke to me directly, refused to even look me in the face. They were very flippant about the error and barely even brushed it off no less apologetic- immediately offered another appointment a month plus later. I recognized at this point that I would not receive quality care in this situation and so I told them I wouldn't be using their practice as my care. I asked if I would get a refund of my $4 copay because I wasn't given service today. Because the dentist entered the room and literally peeked at my teeth while I pulled my lip back, no refund, it counts as an exam. They're going to process it as a visit. Can we say Medicaid fraud? Maybe I'll see what the state thinks about that. Don't go here. If you are on Medicaid and have no other choice, good luck and I'm sorry. You deserve better.

I cannot in good conscience recommend anyone receive treatment here…read more My experience was not a pleasant one and because of that, I will not return to this office. The experience left me feeling absolutely humiliated and emotionally victimized (though I am sure that wasn't their intent). Of course, they don't tell you the fees beforehand (aside from the price of the examination). So, I had a very limited budget, but I thought I would be fine because I knew they offered in-house plans. To make matters worse, the appointment was the day of my birthday. After doing the exam and x-rays and explaining what needed to be done, they then brought someone in to explain the pricing and whatnot...when I realized I couldn't afford it, even their in-house plan was over $460 just to get a broken tooth filled...They wouldn't do anything. I spent the next 10-15 mins in that chair trying to get anyone I knew on my phone to help me...and when I couldn't, I asked if they could do monthly payments..."No". No compassion, no empathy...just a cold "no". As I was checking out and paid the $160 for the "emergency exam and x-rays", I had to put my sunglasses on because I was starting to cry. I've never experienced an office that was so cold and so lacking in compassion and empathy. I still have a hole in my damn tooth that needs to be filled... They even had the audacity to call me the other day to ask if I wanted to come back...Really? After the way I was treated? Hard pass! There is nothing compassionate about this place. All they care about is profit. I understand professionals need to be paid, but have some caring empathy for those who do not have insurance! I work 62 hours a week, pay my bills. I work hard. I'm far from lazy...I could have paid half of the $460ish but they wouldn't work with me on anything. Fortunately, I have an appointment scheduled with a dental school in Charlotte in a few weeks and THEY do accept monthly payments. So, that's my story.

Then she said she couldn't tell from the panaflex if she might have to extract the tooth. She didn't, instead she chipped the tooth which led to a crown. The temporary crown she left to a helper who spent 15 minutes trying to pry if off as if it was a screw. Then she called the dds, who immediately popped it out. Then the crown wasn't sized correctly, so I had to go through the same ordeal with the car mechanic turned assistant for another 15 minutes before the dds again was called in to pop it out. Loves, loves x-rays better than baseball cards. Avoid this imo very inexperienced dds. I was lured in by the reviews, and felt it was a total sham.

Silly of me, I decided to make my wife an appointment and filled out all the paperwork online for her then called to make an appointment the next week. She then said they would send me a packet to fill out via email but I explained I already did it all online. She said that I would not have to fill it out then. I asked her to confirm they received it and she said she had to put me on hold then she disconnected. Called back and talked to somebody else and they said they had not got the forms from online. Scary because this personal info (SS#, DOB, History...) all was submitted somewhere. Clearly, they do not appear to be Hippa compliant and to boot the person on the phone's attitude was if I was making her life difficult.
