So I decided to look around to see if I was getting the best deal. Jumped on Yelp for insurers in my area with high ratings. Went onto their site and filled in request for quote forms and waited. Out of five, two waited a week before sending me a follow up. One was rather high also. And two were very reasonable. Linda at this location not only send me a quote but followed up with a call to ask me a few questions. Those questions lead to a discount. After a couple more calls back and forward, my final cost was less than half the price of my current insurance. I gave them my credit card to cover my auto and home insurance. A few days later, I get paperwork to sign and decided to drop them off personally. Got to meet both Linda and Becki, very pleasant women. I will update my review after I make any claims

Definitely fraudulent…read more David Whorton talks the talk to get you to put pen to paper, but he neither cares for your well-being nor understands the intricacies of insurance. We had the misfortune of working with Whorton Insurance Services. When we sustained damage, we contacted Whorton for help. They lied about filing a claim on our behalf to stall the process, then proceeded to ignore all further attempts to reach them. Eventually, David came around just to notify me that the claim was denied, but failed to provide any documentation or reason for it. When pressed on the topic, he hung up the phone and blocked my number. I had to jump through a thousand hoops, but finally confirmed that David lied about actually filing the claim, and was just hoping we would go away. Long story short, it turns out they're not even licensed to practice in our state, and are now under investigation by several state and federal agencies. Insurance salesmen are sleazy by nature, but these are not people you want to do business with.
