We were lucky enough to work with Katrina who from the very first meeting, was incredibly kind, patient, and supportive. She created a comfortable, judgment-free space where I felt heard and understood. What I appreciated most was her collaborative approach. She really took the time to listen to our concerns, answer questions thoroughly, and work together to find solutions that felt right for our family. Her guidance was practical, encouraging, and tailored to our specific situation. I'm truly grateful for her expertise and compassion, and I would highly recommend her to any family looking for knowledgeable and caring lactation support.

I have PCOS and had a low supply and tongue tie with my first and wanted to get baby checked out right away so we could do what we needed to help milk production. Rosemary was amazing and came right away and helped me navigate all the things related to breastfeeding and feeding my baby. I felt heard and very well cared for in those beginning days when you are so vulnerable. We had a follow up today and she reassured me that I'm doing everything and heading in the right direction. She was really there to listen to what I had to say and my concerns and gave the advice that I needed to feel confident and keep moving forward. So thankful for Rosemary and Bridgetown baby for the much needed support.

I was 24 hours into labor before we made them let us come in. I was having 5 minute contractions for 10 hours straight home alone to the point I was giving up. When I got to the clinic they immediately said I was 9 cm dilated and had the trainee midwife trying to find the heart rate during contractions. She couldn't find it. And hot help when they finally were able to track the heart rate of my baby girl they said I needed to get an ambulance to the hospital. We said we'd just drive there. They proceeded to let her try to put an iv in my arm for practice. She stuck me and stuck me untill the needle bend off in my arm. We finally said enough!! We're leaving why are you doing this if its an emergency shouldn't we be going. We got to the hospital and my entire birth plan went out the window. I was forced to get an epidural and c section because my cervix was too swollen from hours of not knowing what to do alone at home. They tried to push my cervix away for her head to slip through on my hands and knees as the last attempt to deliver her naturally but her heart rate was plummeting too much. Every 5 minutes. I was 32 hours into labor by the time she was cut from my body. They stole my placenta I didnt get to have the water birth I didnt get to have those moments that we all wish of when going to a clinic instead of a hospital. How can a place meant to be built of women supporting women's birth have cared so little for me and my baby. Not only could we have died but why would you not even ask to talk to me on the phone during my labor just telling my partner shes doing fine stay home. In the middle of working with her, we ended up doing a frenectomy, and she guided us through the recovery process every step of the way with so much knowledge, encouragement, and care. She was actually recommended by a renowned pediatric ENT who called her the "baby magician," and boy was he right! Her ability to assess what's going on and gently troubleshoot is truly amazing. We feel so supported and confident under her care, and our baby is so much happier because of it. I'm beyond grateful we found her and would recommend her a thousand times over to any parent needing lactation support!

Choosing Melissa Cole to help our son w/ his feeding challenges was one of the best decisions I've…read moreever made. She didn't just meet my highest hopes & expectations--she exceeded them in every way imaginable, leaving a profound, life-changing impact on our family. Thanks to Melissa's expertise & unmatched dedication, we uncovered that our son's struggles went far beyond his tongue tie, which kept reattaching despite proper release & after-care. Melissa helped us identify other contributing factors & tailor our after-care approach, ensuring optimal wound healing. She is also highly skilled in wound care, assessment, & intervention in the event of reattachment--using a deeper technique to release the tongue if she notices new tissue growth. She has done this for us on multiple occasions, making all the difference in our son's progress. Additionally, she helped us identify other areas of concern that required prompt medical attention, ensuring we didn't miss a critical window for early intervention. She then took charge--placing referrals, following up, & being an ever-reliable resource. She was always just a text or email away, responding quickly--even during evenings, weekends, & holidays. I'll never forget reaching out in crisis around Thanksgiving when my son was struggling to eat. She responded immediately, offered feedback/advice, & consulted w/ his ENT that weekend to get us answers. By Mon, she had us on his schedule for surgical revision. Melissa's expertise didn't stop there. Her keen attention to detail & ability to see the bigger picture led to a groundbreaking medical discovery for our family--one that not only helped us better understand our own health but also gave us critical insight into our son's needs. Her observation helped us recognize factors that could impact his wound healing, which became invaluable for future surgical planning. What sets Melissa apart is that she doesn't just follow a one-size-fits-all approach--she looks at the individual in front of her. If she saw a concern, she told us about it, even if it went against conventional advice or prior recommendations we had received. Time & time again, she was spot-on. Her supplement suggestions, for example, weren't just based on what's typically recommended for all infants but tailored specifically to our son's unique needs. The same went for her referrals--some contradicted previous medical advice we had been given, but in the end, she was aways right & her option quickly became the one that mattered most. In summary, Melissa is a true expert, investigator, & advocate (not to mention, researcher) who goes above & beyond for the families she works with. She deserves 1,000 's for the incredible impact she's had on our lives. I truly cannot thank her enough. In fact, one time I even told her that she somehow got me feeling grateful for our son's reattachment BC had that not happened, we never would have found her. My only regret is, I wish we had found her sooner! I also wish she was dual-licensed as a pediatrician BC she would kill it & so that we don't have to stop seeing her Lastly, in case you're still not convinced, you should check out her post-frenotomy tongue stretching video on YouTube, which has 1.7M + views! https://youtu.be/2JMcbF85ehs?si=mDtOD9IZ7m0FiwHt

I called her the day after we came home from the hospital - breastfeeding was so painful I would cry whenever I nursed my son. When I read her reviews and looked through her site, I thought she was too good to be true. She is as good as that, and more. She comes to your home, she is thorough, kind, professional and insanely knowledgeable about babies, mothers and the human body. Her bedside manner is AMAZING and most impressive of all, she is a baby whisperer. After her visit, we had a much better understanding of breastfeeding, and she also supplied us with an arsenal of resources, customized just for us: baby exercises to strengthen his neck (so he can be an ambi-turner and more effectively nurse both sides), cheeks and tongue; nutrition guidance for me; a pain mgmt/treatment plan for the issues from nursing incorrectly; and details about how to specifically improve where we needed to. She responded to our follow up questions and helped us refine our techniques. Please, please don't hesitate to call her if you're having any doubts or troubles with breastfeeding.

I'm a 21year old and am a first time mom also on my own. When I had my baby girl I struggled at feeding my daughter at the hospital. The nurses would come in and help me, but really they just would shove my boob in her mouth and she would eat, but my nipples were in so much pain. When I went and saw the Lactation nurse at the hospital she said everything was fine and that my nipples were fine and that the latch was great, but it didn't feel great. When I went to another care provider of mine they saw how damaged my nipple was when they were examining me and called Martha right away. Martha drove over and got me a nipple shield and showed me how to use it and set up an appointment with me right away. And using that nipple shield helped so much! The first time I put it on so much relief. I didn't even realize how much pain I was in because I just thought it was normal because I was a first time mom. I knew nothing and I was told that it was fine. So from there on I've made appointments with Martha and she's helped me so much and my baby. She's so thorough in her appointments, She asked so many questions that I wouldn't even think of to ask. Which are good to know. to and to talk about. She writes everything down so after the appointment you can see your whole visit and remember what you guys talked about. She gives so much advice and learned honestly so much in the matter of time of that appointment and the appointments are very affordable. She's just awesome. I highly recommend it if you're struggling on your breast-feeding journey as a mom.
