My daughter has been dancing at Salinas School of Dance for over 10 years and it has become our home away from home. We originally looked at all the other dance studios in the surrounding area but found that this studio was the perfect fit for my daughter who wanted to learn to be a 'ballerina'. For me as a parent, the studio is a safe place for my daughter to be and I have never had any concerns leaving her there because I know she will be well looked after. My daughter has danced with the Salinas School of Dance for the past 10 years. We have the highest respect for the studio owner and teachers. My daughter started out shy and scared of everyone; because she was not treated like a baby, but a developing young lady, she has grown into a confident, graceful, and talented dancer. Since moving in July, we have not been able to find a studio with the same high standards, traditional Russian technique, and attitude towards dance as self-improvement and self-discipline. This dance school could not get any better. My daughter has been attending Salinas School of Dance for about 5 years now. Always very professional and friendly. Never has there been an altercation with any child. My daughter has learned so much about ballet, tap, jazz, but most importantly she has learned how to respect others. Salinas School of Dance has been my daughters home away from home, second family, and her passion since 2004 at the age of 2! Lisa is not only a teacher to my daughter she is a second mother. Her staff is amazing, highly trained, passionate, and very committed to every dancer. My daughter spends 17 + hours a week at the studio and she would have no other way!! My daughter has danced here for 8 years now. She loves going every week. The studio owner and the teachers dedicate their time to our kids and i couldn't be more grateful. The kids and instructors have grown up with each other just like a family. The staff is more than helpful to your own individual needs. My husband returned from Iraq and hadn't seen our daughter dance and Teacher Lisa allowed him to come and watch her for her classes. this meant a lot to us. My daughter joined shortly after her 3rd birthday. She has enjoyed it. She was nervous the first couple of times but the staff knew how to help her ease into it. They made sure to keep it fun. I appreciated that. My daughter continued attending and ended up participating in the recital. I was very proud. She had come a long way. She is now taking a break but asks to go back soon! FANTASTIC STUDIO, great environment, helpful teachers and happy students!! The salinas school of dance has a shop which includes dance wear, shoes and other cute stuff!!
